I recently purchased a sauce that I normally buy on a regular basis. I brought it home and put it on my sandwich, like always. I noticed, however, this time that it has a slight metallic smell and flavor. I was sick with flu like symptoms for two days afterwards. Unable to eat anything for two days , I began to feel better. Upon the third day I had a hunch. I looked at the back of the bottle and saw that it was AN ENTIRE YEAR EXPIRED!!! I brought the bottle back to Kroger where they nicely refunded my money. I then went to the shelf were I picked it up and there was one left and guess what? It was also a year expired!! I was then told that because no more had been scanned in that I could not get any more , so I left without!!! I feel like more could have been done but hey, who am I? Check your dates or this could happen to you and your children. read more

Kroger should be investigated by the DOJ for price-gouging. Walmart charges $5.99 for a 12 pak of Pepsi while Kroger charges $10.99. Kroger discriminates against Seniors. The coupons they send out are a joke since Seniors on a fixed income can't afford to buy 3 or 5 of something before they get a price break. The only company that I hate more than Kroger is CVS! I'm so happy that Krogers merger with Albertsons was denied by the government. read more

This Kroger is always clean and it's always visible with the pricing is. There's always a self check out available or a register where someone can check you out. Calm down with your two star reviews yelp, let Kroger's Kroger. read more

Have a never reviewed this? How? This is my "hometown" Kroger and the location I shop at most often. Their floral department is pretty stellar for any grocery store. So bright and cheery, overflowing with all the pretty flowers as soon as you enter the store. This location is very clean, always stocked and best of all you can always find a sample to snack on. I mean who doesn't need to refuel when buying a weeks worth of groceries? This location was very recently renovated and inside you will find: -Starbucks -The Little Clinic (don't come here hoping for a narcotic prescription, they cannot give those out) -5/3 Bank -Pharmacy -Clothing section -Home Goods/ Housewares section -Gourmet Cheese Area -Full Service Deli (and pre-order kiosk at the entrance of the store) -2 Redbox rental kiosks (out front) -Antipasta Bar -Meat Counter (including seafood options) ...and you know, groceries...obviously. read more

You could care less about your customers especially the over 65 set with pre existing conditions...you need to make dedicated shopping hours for these frail guests in this time of pandemic, when the shelves actually have something on them. You are allowing hoarding shopping behaviors by not imposing a limit of ONE of any of a number of paper products in high demand. NOBODY NEEDS 3 24 roll packs at a time, unless a family of 5 all has diarrhea. Really. You have lost this customer....to your competitors who are doing a much better job. SHAME ON YOU. read more

I purchased prepackaged ground pork. When I opened the packages the meat had awful rotten smell. I called the store to let them know. The store manager Matthew was an unprofessional, unpleasant individual. I would never recommend to go to Kroger Marketplace in Lebanon! read more

I feel like I live in this place. I mean who doesn't, right? There is always that call at work, "Mom, bring some milk home" or "Mom, there's nothing here to eat" even when you just did the weekly shopping. When there are kids, a husband, pets and visitors, there is always a need for food. I drive past a Walmart (which I hate) and even another big named grocery store to get to this Kroger, but I wouldn't have it any other way. They are close, friendly, clean and always have the best selection in the produce department, large selection of pre-made foods (not the frozen processed stuff) and are quick to get customers checked out. Even though it's huge and you might get your daily workout in just going from one end of the store to the next, they always have what I'm looking to bring home. To make the grocery store experience even better, Kroger started doing what they should have done a long time ago--- making fresh, health foods be the next "in" thing again. They developed these "box meals" called Prep & Pared. They are meals that are in a box, with the ingredients all cut up, cleaned, measured and ready to go. The only thing you have to do is follow the instructions and in about 10-30 minutes, you have a healthy, fresh and homemade meal without preservatives. This is the second meal we have tried. The box feeds two people--- no leftovers. This particular meal was Bacon & Honey Mustard Glazed Chicken. When I read the ingredients, it didn't sound too bad. The prep and cook time was 20 minutes and it had 510 calories per serving. The box cost $14- still cheaper than going out to eat. The box contained the following: * four strips of bacon * 8 oz of diced chicken breast * a bag of broccolini * 1/2 cup of chopped radishes *1 1/2 cup of wheatberries 2 packets of Dijoin Mustard 2 small packets of honey The only thing I had to provide was a skillet, knife, salt, pepper and a little bit of water. That's it. 20 minutes later, dinner was served. When I put the meal in the bowls, it looked so festive, but did it taste good? Yes, it did. I've never had wheatberries before, but found that I liked them. My husband liked the bacon and chicken and the honey mustard flavor. So, would I buy another boxed meal? Yes! I love the way Kroger is trying to adapt to working households to make sure that we are not just eating food, but thinking of making better choices in the time that we have. read more

I love this store the atmosphere is always very positive the workers know the store they are always very helpful and the management is top notch keep up the good work you guys rock read more

The store is okay, but a manager, Mike, needs to be taught how to interact with people. Today I had to go back to the store to get a security tag taken off of a top a bought yesterday. Mike wanted a receipt. I was not returning. I just needed help with an issue not of my doing. I presented the receipt. He took the top, removed plastic and handed it back to me. I was irritated and said, "No sorry for the inconvenience?" His reply: "Why should I be sorry. You bought the top." This rude, uncaring person should not be a Kroger manager. read more

This store's service has gone down hill. Over the last several months the lines are unbearable, and they never have checkout lanes open. I have always been a loyal customer, but the last two times I went, I waited 26 and 32 minutes to check out. Don't shop here, I would suggest you go to Walmart or another Kroger near by. read more

Kroger is Kroger. I like this location for all the extras it has including the Cheese bar, the olive bar and just grand size of the store. I HATE that there is a remodel or switching of aisles all the time. I don't shop here as often as I used to due to moving so now, when I go in, I have no idea where things are. It's frustrating. Now, the store took some major square footage for a wine bar. Really? It's a grocery store. The items in stock are plentiful and I feel like the quality is about what you'd expect. I haven't ever been here once, though, for Clicklist and not had a substitution. That's also frustrating. Also, the gas here is an outrageous price-even with your Kroger fuel point. Go somewhere else for that. Even a different Kroger. read more

A few run ins with rude employees recently. Older woman walking the store getting new credit card applications today and started to ask me then looked at how I was dressed and walked off. Pretty rude to stereo type based on appearance. read more

Dear Lebanon Kroger, For the love of GOD, Stop moving things around constantly. It's frustrating and an irritating waste of my time when I have to walk around searching for things just after learning where they are from the last rearrange. It's unfair to your customers that you keep doing this and it is for this very reason I drive to other stores and towns just to avoid the frustration. I hate this store and I won't ever shop here unless I have zero choice. read more

lebanon 45036 worst location on the plant!!!!!!!!! absolutely the worst kroger ever!!! shelves are always empty, and they never have anything you actually need. one cashier available! lines are down the isles to the back of the store, and the manager has no clue! there are plenty of employees and plenty of excuses! why is there only one cashier?! let's not forget the bad produce! rotten and moldy fruit everywhere!!! fruit flies everywhere!!! i have to drive out of my way for better quality every week; it's enough to make me move! read more

it's tough to review a place when it's your only choice. I like the commercials where they act like they're your friend and pretend to be a homey place. "Hi Ashley, it's good to see you". Where the hell is she going to go? This store employs people part time and demands they are available at the stores pleasure, so they can't get a second job. Despite screwing people over on wages, the prices remain high. At the end of the day, if this store closed, we would all starve to death. Their Starbucks is the worst I've been to with a particular employee just being nasty all the time. This location has seafood, and it's about as un-fresh as you can get. They don't have a meat manager, so you have to wait for some kid to quit picking his nose to to come by and half ass cut the meat if you want anything semi-fresh. When I go, I let the right fart, at the right time. read more

They are re-doing this store again :-/ please stop moving things around. I go here because it's convenient, that is all. The customer service is always marginal, at best. I have had snide comments from the cashier before about my large order - as in "I would hate to have to bag that", as he mumbled that under his breath, comments about my coupons, which was like 15. Booo you Kroger! The produce at this Kroger needs some help as well, the flies in the produce and the sub par selection makes it hard to find nice produce to keep longer than a day or two. I have tried to start going to the store in Centerville, which is about 20 minutes out of the way, but the customer service, produce selection, and overall grocery selection is much better and they always have items in stock. read more

This location gets an extra star purely on its extensive wine and spirits selection. The lines are average, they always seems to be just one cashier short, but not terrible. This is also a Marketplace so you can find home goods and furniture at this location. What I don't get/Can't stand is the fact that Ever. Single. Time. I go into this store my senses are automatically hit with the strongest metallic taste/odor I have ever encountered!! I don't know what it is, but a friend of mine had the same thing. It may be way too much cleaning chemicals or just something in their air, but it never ceases and I have to deal with it throughout the entire store and for at least another half hour afterwards.... I don't know what it is but I'll gladly go to the one farther down the road just to avoid this huge discomfort.... read more

Absolutely horrible Kroger. It's always chaotic and disorganized. Management is terrible. Store is poorly laid out and changed constantly. Was there today and numbering system was out of order in the deli and they had no system. Typical for this store. Deli didn't care for sure and patrons were having to take care of it and establish a line system. So frustrating. We live in Lebanon and have dealt with this same situation for years. Everyone we know talks about it. We often shop at other Kroger's that are more organized. On a bright note, we asked a teenager for help in the produce and he practically got on his head to do anything to help us. We spend over $1,000 monthly at this Kroger and just can't stand it. We will begin shopping elsewhere. read more

I do not recommend this store to be your quick list pick up store! Not a bad store if you go inside but the waits of this has been nothing but a horrible experience. Last week I had to wait until 8pm on w Sunday after my time was supposed to be 12! Today I got moved down on times again then I still ended up having to go inside to get items that they were out of stock of I don't know why they can't contact you! read more

By far the best grocery shopping experience I've ever had. The store is big enough to have a good selection, but not so big you get lost. The checkout lanes were well-staffed (we had two baggers!) and very efficient. Best of all, we saved a bunch of money. Couldn't ask for more from a grocery store. read more

Just had a bad experience with a bagger today , said he was losing his voice and needed a paper towel to keep from dripping nasal discharche while bagging my groceries, so with the flue epidemic at an all time high, you would think management will tell its employees to stay home who have symptoms. Reported this to front desk but doubt they will do anything . This person needs to be sent home Mr Manager ,Lebanon Kroger's . I spoke to Lori concerning this . read more

This is an average mediocre Kroger. It has some nice cheese and a few organically but just not the type of shopping experience I enjoy.

The best option for produce in town. I usually find the workers to be friendly and helpful, I haven't had too many problems with items being out of stock. I don't use the deli or meat/seafood often, so I can't speak to that. . .they are one of the few Kroger's that are open 24 hours, which is great. Agreed that the parking lot isn't too much fiun. it causes my husband to say some bad words from time to time. We usually just park in the next lot, worth the walk to avoid the craziness. read more

I had a very bad experience with Kroger in Lebanon Ohio today. I have been a very loyal customer for 30 years. Recently, I bought four pairs of pants, about 22 dollars a pair. I washed one pair and they shrunk up 4 inches making them unwearable. At that point I decided to return them. My receipt was somewhere at the top of my closet, but with a broken foot I couldn't reach it. The staff person told me he couldn't return them even though they still had tags on them. I ask him to call a manager. Mike the manager refused to look up my card or help me. He said he needed a receipt. I left and called customer service. Jeanette found my receipt and sent it to me by email. I went back into the store and the staff person looked at the receipt on my phone and called the manager. They were on the phone for a long time. The staff person said he didn't know any Jeanette and said it didn't look like a real receipt. I said "call your service number, here is the reference number", but he refused to call and then he went on saying that people steal this kind of stuff all the time. That's when I got mad, I was accused of stealing and having a fake receipt from a Kroger email. They finally gave me store credit, but at that point I felt disgusted with how I was treated. I don't have the words to express how disappointed I am with this kind of service. One way or another they were going to find me in the wrong, which is wrong. read more

I was in the store at 7:49 AM today and no check out except self service was open. After waiting a few minutes I asked a gentleman if there was any open and he directed me to a lane that had no light on. The cashier was not friendly but the gentleman who came over and bagged my order at least said thank you. I have been shopping at the store since moving to Lebanon since 1998 and never had a bad experience until today. I can go to the competition and get the lack of service I received today. read more

This Kroger is ALWAYS out of key items, especially sale items. Every day of the week, night or day. Empty shelves. No food....not literally, but you get the picture.
