I've never hated at grocery store like I hate this one. The service is awful from top to bottom - IF you ever know who the top is! You NEVER see store leadership here. Complaints go unanswered and definitely unaddressed because the service you receive here NEVER CHANGE. Tonight took the cake for me - I sped through the streets like a bat out of hell (well not really but really) because I thought I had eggs and didn't. I made it to the store at 10:50 p.m., they close at 11 p.m. and they have their security outside turning people away. He won't speak he's just shaking his head no. Atlanta has already failed with everything shutting down before midnight and having to deal with b-ish is just the f-ing icing. No one was trying to make a full basket of groceries at 10:50. At this point, I'm convinced Kroger corporate doesn't know this store exist.

Seriously? No lights at 7:45pm on a Thursday??

It's always nice to be on a set time to shop just to have to walk back outside to get a shopping cart.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way... This has been my farmers market ever since I moved to Atlanta 10 years ago. What keeps me coming back isn't just what they have--it's who they have. The staff here has always made me feel like family. Whether it's the sweet gentleman who cuts the fresh pineapple, the gentleman preparing fresh coconut water, or the ladies at the checkout counters, everyone is consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Those interactions may seem small, but they're a big part of why I continue to return year after year. Of course, the selection is incredible as well. This is where I buy most of my fresh fruit, a lot of my meat, and--let's be honest--my desserts too. Speaking of dessert, there is one item I absolutely have to mention: the fruit tart. I've tried fruit tarts from all over, and I can honestly say this market has my favorite one. Every single year, it's become my birthday tradition to pick one up, and I look forward to it just as much as the celebration itself. It really is that good. One thing I've always appreciated is the consistency. No matter which part of Georgia I've lived in over the past decade, I've continued making the drive because I know exactly what kind of experience I'm going to have every time I walk through the doors. A couple of helpful tips if you're visiting for the first time: * While the parking lot can look busy, I've almost always been able to find a space. You may have to park a little farther away, but a few extra steps are well worth it. * Also, be sure to come prepared--this market accepts debit cards or cash only, so credit cards aren't accepted. There are plenty of farmers markets around Atlanta, but this one has always felt like home to me. Between the incredible selection, consistently fresh products, and the kindness of the people who work here, it's a place I'll continue returning to for years to come.

I looked at their website and they showed them in stock and if you buy 10 you get a small discount instead of buying them individually. I went in dreading the visit but ran into a helpful person in the front who directed me to stationery. After wandering around a while I found an employee who said they're actually in hardware. I found the boxes but couldn't find and banded sets of ten so I assumed the volume discount would apply. I went to the self checkout registers and asked the employee if they needed to multiply my order by ten for the volume discount to apply. They said, no, just scan in all of them and the discount will appear as the end. When it didn't discount I showed the employee and she wouldn't fix it so I asked for a manager. After a few minutes he showed up and flatly refused to honor the online price unless I went home and placed a pickup order, then drove back to get my discount. I declined and drove to a hardware store that had moving boxes even cheaper so it worked out well. Every few years I try walmart to see if anything has changed but they're always consistently awful experiences. This time I've learned my lesson and I'll never shop at one again, so thanks for that.

That said, we noticed this location has both garage and outdoor parking. There are escalators and an elevator from the garage. The store was poorly lit, and one of the self-checkout machines had a problem with the credit card reader. We found everything we needed and more. They do check receipts, but I'm pretty sure they don't actually verify them, which I find amusing.
