Kroger is a large grocery chain store. The prices tend to be a little more expensive than Walmart. Kroger has a good range of food selection as expected from a large grocery store. Kroger is one the few large grocery stores in the medical district, but one should take caution with safety around that area. They have security at the entrance of the store. The ambiance is decent for a store, but understandably not as upscale as like Whole Foods.

False advertising. Beware! They did not honor their sale price.

Watch your cart. Prices are not as advertized!! Charged FULL price. Ended up not getting items.

Line at Kroger with only self checkout (4 registers)!!

This Kroger is getting worst and worst. Poorly staffed, not clean, not safe (my bike got stolen - while locked to building, staff member even saw it and did nothing!), and when you shop you better bring people along to help you carry your groceries - they have hardly ever working shopping cards! Not sure who cares about that location at all definitely not their corporate or their management!!!

Kroger maple!! The worst!!!

Worst experience in my life thanks to some stock worker named Duane who said his name was Michael Jackson when I asked him to give me his name he made a huge ordeal over me asking him for a box when I used his stock cardboard trash box to fill it up with all the canned vegetables I was buying so that I could unload it to my pantry and not waste 50 bags anyways long story short the jerk made me leave and that entire cart too. What a joke!! Bunch of angry miserable people here who hate their lives and ps never go here after 1230am they won't let you shop when they close at 1 bc they are so lazy and the location loses so much $$$ over people being turned away. Kroger is for Krusty krabs!! Shop Tom Thumb and stay clear from the trash .

The staff here is a little annoying at times, since they're doing a "donate to a local student scholarship drive", and the cashiers guilt-trip you (and they're fairly persistent) into donating. And when you do contribute, they broadcast it throughout the store. I get it's for a good cause, and I hate to be "that guy", but it is a little irritating after a while. On the plus side, the self-checkout attendants are usually fairly helpful and attentive, so that's good. The last time I wanted to check out, all of the registers were closed, so the self-checkout line was over a dozen people/carts long (thankfully two rows of self-checkout made the line dwindle fairly quickly). Another two lanes of self-checkout were opened at the other end of the store, but there were at least 3-4 attendants at the self-checkout lanes, so I'm curious as to why nobody was manning the actual registers. Finally, as I was leaving, two of the staff were having a casual non-work conversation, blocking the exit, so I asked them politely to move for my cart. They did so, but muttered under their breath for me to use the other exit. It was rather rude, since not only is that not appropriate customer service, but my car was parked at the other end of the parking lot, and the exit was right in front of me, which they were blocking. Overall, Krogers itself is great. You can probably find whatever you're looking for there, even if it might not be food, and for reasonable prices. But the staff and service don't always make your shopping experience a positive one.

The customer service is the worst I've seen. Period. The reviews speak for themselves. I wonder if Kroger management cares or sees any of this.

Trader Joe's has become our go-to neighborhood spot, literally right down the road from the house,…read moreand every time I walk in it feels like I'm stepping into a place that actually cares about people. I stopped in to grab a few bunches so I could build my partner a custom bouquet at home -- roses, winter peonies, and lilies that were all fresh, full, and priced better than anywhere else around here. The customer service at this location is phenomenal. The lady at the register saw the flowers and asked what I was making. When I told her I was building a bouquet myself for my partner, she lit up and said, "That's how you do it." Little moments like that just make the experience feel personal. Trader Joe's employees always bring good energy, and it shows. I took everything home, trimmed the stems, mixed the colors, and built the bouquet with my own hands. The roses brought the romance, the winter peonies added that soft winter elegance, and the lilies tied the whole thing together like a final touch only she would notice. While I was there I also grabbed steaks to cook her dinner later that night. Between the flowers and the meal, Trader Joe's basically gave me everything I needed to make the whole evening special without running all over town. When I handed her the bouquet and then served dinner, the look on her face made the effort worth it. Trader Joe's helped me turn a simple idea into a real moment -- thoughtful, genuine, and meaningful. Five stars for fresh florals, quality steaks, and customer service that actually makes you feel seen. This is why our local store stays our favorite.
