I have to say, this Kroger may not be perfect... but the Clicklist team is definitely the best! They're very precise with the questions they ask and who they give your groceries to. I appreciate the "What's the name on the order?" as opposed to just ask if you're the name on the order! The only complaint I have for Clicklist at this Kroger is that random patrons will park in the Clicklist section and take up designated spaces. Other than that, great work! read more

I love my little ghetto Kroger. Why? Because it's mine. I've seen a man roll a huge cart of groceries/food out the side door to a waiting minivan with no shame, I've seen a hungry man just unrepentantly start eating fruit out of the produce section, I've waited 10 minutes at the meat counter for someone--anyone--to show, I've waited at the express self-checkout lane behind women who are clearly doing their monthly shop with carts of food and don't give a good GD about an item limit, I've personally been harassed by an employee half my age in the liquor store who didn't believe I was 46, and every time I'm there I see employees operating with a complete lack of urgency. I'll take this Kroger over the downtown Kroger any day of the week. Even with all the above mentioned issues, there's still a larger and more diverse selection of goods. Plus, you don't have to dodge a cluster of transients trying to hustle you for "spare" change or sell you an $8 bottle of rubbing alcohol. Kroger is a grocery store that sells groceries. If you're going for much more than that, you're asking for too much. You don't go to WalMart then rate them 2-stars because you couldn't buy a Lambo, now do you? For whatever Kroger lacks in its in-store experience/shelving/stocking/etc you should know they (somewhat) make up for it with their customer service. If you EVER have an issue with ANY Kroger, don't bother with the in-house managerial staff. They're slow to respond, ineffective, and will ignore clear issues in which they simply don't want to engage (I've witnessed it myself). You can just call the number on your receipt and you get to speak to a live customer service rep. They will escalate an issue above the site level, compelling an in-store resolution that you likely wouldn't have gotten if you'd wasted time trying to talk to someone at that Kroger (so no need to silently fume over anything). I just can't bring myself to hate on Kroger. Yes, sometimes the lines are so unpardonably long I've walked in and walked right TF back out, but it's a grocery store and human beings eat groceries. In life there are just times where you have to roll with a situation and embrace the suck. I've embraced Kroger. You should too. read more

This was my first Kroger experience and I'm impressed with their selection and variety of items!! My friends and I were visiting a friend for her birthday so needed some food to make ourselves for the few days. They have helpful meal kits near the deli / rotisserie chicken for quick, nutritious meals. Huge selection of beverages and even a liquor store! Best of all the bakery department was able to whip up a cake in a days notice. I used the app and ordered a cake I think Wednesday to be ready Friday around 1pm where on Friday the bakery called me in the morning to get a verbal confirmation. The cake itself was so charming with the mermaid theme! I chose marble cake base and the whipped topping option and loved how it wasn't overly sweet. Kudos to the bakery team for whipping up such a whimsical, tasty cake!! We all enjoyed it! read more

This is our go-to grocery when working in Cincy. It's strange to us that the liquor is in a separate store from the groceries. But it's just a quick trip up the stairs and they have anything we might need. They have an incredible wine selection and the occasional case of beer. It's a pretty big grocery store for us and at first, hard to find things. We've acclimated and now it's a quick in-and-out. Grocery delivery - they never look at your substitutions. I put specific substitutions for certain items and instead of using what I have put, they offer something completely different that I do NOT WANT. Your only option is to accept or deny their selection. I decline, they remove the item, then it invalidates my applied order coupon for $ off my order because my order total falls below the specified coupon amount. What a scam. You need to fix your system and actually read customers selections for back-ups/substitutions. I'll just shop at Meijer if this continues. Because I don't go with your choice, I lose $10 off my delivery and pay the delivery fee OR I go with an item I don't want. Disgraceful customer service. read more

I usually come to this Krogers every single day & I prefer to use the self checkout since there are often very few cashier's. Well today I had gone to exchange my primo water bottle and get a new one thus making it appear that I had many items in my cart due to its size. The self checkout worker " Marsha " began immediately telling me to turn around or else she would call security she wouldn't even let me explain that the empty water bottle was taking up space in my cart. She immediately went and grabbed security. Security was pleasant and told me I could continue scanning my stuff. This made " Marsha " even angrier and she began making antagonistic statements towards me . She stated that she needs an army behind her and etc . I left completely confused on why she was being so aggressive towards me and left very unsatisfied with this worker's professionalism. read more

You'll find some items cheaper at other places and some you won't. For me, a grocery store is all about location. This store is not the one closest to me, so it's not my primary grocery store. Convenience is the reason for my visit. Quality is not: there's Newport for that (unfortunately). A basket: I don't want to take up the whole aisle, and yet I must because I can never find a basket. Sometimes you can't find a smaller carrier for your goods than a forklift but I don't wish this upon you. It's a full-size Kroger: it has everything, except that it often doesn't. In general, if you're looking for something healthier, it's more likely to be out of stock here than in Kentucky. It's a Kroger. It's fine. I was on a quest to make California roll by hand for Valentine's day. Never before did I try to find asian style ingredients in Cincinnati, but it was harder than I thought. Let this be a warning that this review is from someone that isn't hardly an expert in authentic asian cuisine whatsoever, let alone a chef. My first stop was the Asian Market on the corner of W. McMillan & Ravine. I was looking for seaweed (aka Nori (海苔)), sesame seeds, rice vinegar, avocado, cucumber and mostly importantly Krab (aka crab stick, imitation crab) which is actually traditionally pulverized Surimi (Japanese whitefish). Now let me tell you that this imitation crab, which is ubiquitous in sushi rolls around the city, is not easy to find for home use. My first stop in Clifton yielded frozen Surimi from China. Pretty nice! My next stop at Kroger was where I planned to find the rest of the ingredients. Above and beyond expectations I found the same Nori seaweed for rolling the rolls as I found at the Asian Market. I was amazed. As I picked up a few items I decided to just check to see if they had crabstick. Not only did I find exactly what I was looking for (which was affordable, Kroger brand and less concerning than the Chinese Surimi I found) but I found crab salad and lobster for making other variants of sushi. Case and point, I was able to find all of the relatively rare ingredients for making sushi at the Clifton Kroger including Nori, "Surimi"/ crab stick and medium grain sushi rice. If you want a fun and easy project don't hesitate to try making your own sushi because finding the ingredients in Cincinnati is easier than you think! read more

A very nice new and innovative way to shop! I was pleasantly surprised at the number of gluten free options they had available. More than the average Kroger. I look forward to coming here for a quick lunch from time to time. They have pizza, sushi and home style meals already ready to go. The bakery is a bit unimpressive but thats ok, The bar is a nice touch! Nice to come meetup with someone for a quick meeting and get your shopping done as well. At the end of the day, it is heavily stocked but nice looking Kroger! Very organized and that makes me happy! read more

This one opened recently and quite big and well stocked compared to other Marketplaces we have seen. Differentiating Factors: Larger bulk section, Beer on Tap (Yes!), Large Wine Collection, Exotic Vegetables/Fruits mainly from Asia (catering to the large Asian population in the neighborhood). It looks like they combined Kroger Marketplace with Kroger Liquor though. In terms of pricing, I guess it is very similar to other Krogers. The staff is good and friendly. I haven't tried their prepared meals from the food section which has a good Indian section as well - but I guess it should be good. Overall, a good place for your groceries and liquor needs. read more

I went in to use the money services and the line was super long. I noticed men in the area that I will say were management due to attire and badges. Chris, Dan and Ethan all were in the area. Chris was talking with someone but the other two just standing, maybe observing. Why not jump in and help the lone lady, Celestin back there. Ethan eventually came over and Nick started helping people. He eventually left again. I was able to get what I needed from that area. I never understood why management, when they see their staff needs help due to a backed up line, doesn't help. They should be cross trained in all areas to make sure customers are being served in a timely manner. read more

Wow. The long awaited new Kroger in Corryville is open! Very clean, 2 floor space with a very modern urban feel. Apart from the usual Kroger flare, this location has a Pharmacy with a drive through, the Little Clinic and a cute Starbucks. Everything is nicely exposed, although during the first Saturday the place was packed and the registers and self check out points were not sufficient. I guess when the hype is over, it will be fine. I really liked the welcoming Eatery with a living wall. Great place to grab lunch or quick dinner. They also have a bar and a growler filling station. Pretty neat! The ClickList pick up is inside the store, quite unusual but great to have! read more

I like this store. But the employees here are not very friendly. I wouldn't go so far as to say they're outright rude, but they don't like to be bothered, even if you have a Kroger related question, and I don't really understand why. There's a lot to offer here, though, such as the mini restaurants, the deli and hot foods, and there's a BIG selection of adult bevvies for such a (relatively) small store. But if you're not opposed to navigating things on your own, you'll be fine. read more

I had to stop in here for of all things, Banana Peppers and Jalapenos. I know this place has a reputation for being a little dingy, but actually, I've been in worse groceries. Granted, the Police Officer that stands right inside by the checkout lanes didn't exactly instill any confidence in the place, at least there is an Officer there if needed. Like most groceries, there were a ton of options for even something so insignificant as banana peppers and jalapenos (I try not to forget how blessed we are in America). The aisles are not nearly as w---i---d---e as the new mega groceries, but I didn't have a cart so it wasn't a problem. The checkout lines were busy but moved along quickly. I had no trouble finding a spot in the parking lot. The cashier was having a conversation with the bag boy, but I find that to be de rigueur in even the Hyde Park Kroger. Ha! I assume that like many businesses in Clifton, there might be an overhaul in the works and even if not, I am sure this place will be ok if you need some groceries. If you are in this area at night, just be aware of your surroundings and travel in groups. read more

The store is new and looks very nice, however something is always out of stock. I've had to ask on several occasions for someone to go into the back to check for produce, bread, or eggs. Sometimes they come back with what I'm looking for, sometimes not. The location is convenient if you're a UC student, but other than that I would recommend going to Newport Kroger. Also, customer service is not so great. One example is that I called in to ask if they had Talenti layers ice cream and the person on the phone said no. I suspected they might be lying so 10 min later, before I got ready to drive to a further Kroger, I stopped in just to find that they did have the ice cream I was looking for. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS KROGER.. I went here to pick up some food for dinner. When I was in the checkout line I was approached by a lady who wanted me to buy 3 diaper boxes. She supposedly couldn't pay for them... the nice guy in me ended up buying one of the boxes (diapers aren't cheap...) She left the two other boxes at the checkout line. She then told me she would walk out with me but I told her to go first ... once we reached the door all the alarms went off, my cart locked up, and she took off with the box of diapers, but probably with other items she had stolen. The security guard stopped me and I explained the story... a few minutes later I packed up my car and as I was climbing into the car 3 men approached the car... one tapped on the window but I pulled out and all three dispersed... I've been going here the past year and I can guarantee you that while you in the parking lot, you will get approached by at least 1 or 2 hobos... I recommend not shopping here, if you do, bring someone with you or don't dress nice. Stay safe. read more

I would give Kroger Pharmacy a zero, but it's not an option. Worst experience that I have ever had with a pharmacy in my life and I do NOT recommend. My elderly relative's dr called in a prescription. I typically get her medicine at Kroger Springdale ; but due to it being an emergency as her face was severely swollen and double it's size, I asked the dr to send it to Corryville, which was close to the Drs office. I drove to Kroger, after waiting a reasonable time for them to fill her prescription. When I arrived, the person at the window was rude, didn't smile and didn't step up to the window. I was wearing a mask and she was behind a thick window. I could barely hear her and had to raise my voice for her to hear me. She refused to come to the window. I was forced to give her my mothers information loudly. First she told me that she had never received the prescription from the dr. That didn't seem plausible as I was certain they called it in before I left the drs office. I expressed to the lady that the prescription was definitely called in. She reluctantly asked for the same information again. I repeated DOB, name, etc. The second time she located it. It had in fact been sent in. I asked why she hadn't received it and she stated, she had to download it from her profile because it was not the home pharmacy. They had received it and should've pulled it down regardless when it was sent from the Dr. She said it would take 30-35 minutes to fill. I asked could they hurry because my mother was sitting in the heat with a swollen face and it was their mistake that they didn't open the prescription from the Dr. She said no. I left and drove around for thirty minutes. When I came back for the prescription, the same girl, still refusing to come up to the window so that I could hear her, said she needed an additional 10 minutes to fill the order. I walked away to shop. A few minutes later, the girl paged me. I thought they finished the order so I returned to the window to pick it up. This time, however, she informed me that they had not begin to process the order because they claimed my relatives doctor called in different prescriptions to different pharmacies and she needed to verify the prescription before she processed it. I asked her why did they tell me to come back in 30 minutes and then told me to come back in another 10 minutes and they still hadn't started to fill the prescription. She claims that they had just figured it out. I expressed my dissatisfaction with her service and explained my elderly relative was sitting in the car in the heat, with a swollen face, and I really needed her medicine. The lady then threatened not to fill the prescription because I was concerned; then after having me wait over an hour and a half, she refused to fill the prescription to show her power. When I requested a copy to take it to another pharmacy, she refused to give it to me. She then refused to send it to another pharmacy, intentionally putting my mother at risk of harm. I located a Walgreens. My elderly, sick relative sat in the heat in the car with a swollen face, miserable for almost three hours because of Kroger's negligent employees. It took another two hours to get the prescription filled at Walgreens, after waiting two hours at Krogers, because Kroger failed to send the prescription twice at Walgreens request. Walgreens was forced to call the Dr. for a new prescription. I contacted Kroger customer service twice during that process to file a complaint and they never followed up with me months later. Horrible pharmacy and horrible customer service at that branch. read more

This Kroger location is ridiculously awful. They changed their layout of where self check out is and now the store is constantly congested. Lines are 2-3x times longer than they ever were. This is not an employment issue but a layout issue. I keep trying to give this location chances and come back and EVERY time I regret it. Very well stocked newer Kroger in the UC area. They have a starbucks, hot meal section, a few eateries inside for those on the go. A big plus is they have 20 + self check-outs, perfect when you just have one or two items and don't want to bother with the regular checkouts. The only downside is that they don't have a dedicated health food section. Instead, the items are integrated into the aisles with a green sign, indicating that it is gluten-free or healthy eatings. As a person who usually shops fresh around the perimeter of the store, it was a hassle to go up and down each aisle, looking for where my item could potentially be. Perhaps due to this, the workers here aren't exactly sure where the item is, or if it is even stocked. Otherwise, very nice and clean one stop area for most of your needs. read more

Woah what an upgrade! This Kroger was recently taken down to its studs and completely rebuilt, even including a second-floor seating/eating area with wine and beer tasting. They have all of the amenities you've come to expect from newer Krogers, plus some that I haven't seen before like FRESH SOFT PRETZELS in the bakery. I don't live in Clifton, but if I did this would be a huge upgrade to my life and I'm so glad to see this Kroger get a great upgrade! read more

Nicknamed "Kroghetto" by many a bigoted college kid, this grocery store is actually quite a bit better than its reputation (or most reviews on here) might indicate. As one of the few groceries in immediate proximity to some of the largest employers in Cincinnati, this store serves a massive and very diverse population of people. It's a little dingy, yes, but it certainly wouldn't classify as "absolutely filthy." In a time when Kroger is closing up stores in other disadvantaged places, such as Roselawn, it's no surprise that their Corryville location is a bit unkempt. Ultimately, that's an issue for the company to resolve. This isn't Symmes Township, after all. I'm interested to see what the imminent remodel brings to the store. As for the product: I haven't had a problem with the produce, and I'm fairly picky about that sort of thing. They have a pretty decent organic, natural, & vegan section, too. Other than that, the selection is pretty much what you'll find in any other store that isn't a "mega-Kroger." I've also never had any issues with the people shopping there or waiting for cabs/rides outside. Given the Clifton Heights/Corryville reputation for liberating college students from their belongings, it would be a good idea to stay alert traveling at night and to use common sense. My only real complaint: it gets pretty busy, especially around rush hour, weekend nights, and the first of the month. Lines can be pretty long, though they move fairly quickly, and it can get a bit cramped in the aisles. The verdict: If you're an upper-middle-class suburban kid experiencing an urban area for the first time, don't go here. If you're the rest of us, it's a fine day-to-day grocery store. read more

Kroger 1 West Corryville Pharmacy. Absolutely the worst Pharmacy ever! Weather you put your order in online or via phone it's almost guaranteed that they will not have it ready. The drive-through has been broken for probably about a year, and they refuse to fix it. but the worst part of all is when you have placed a pick up order for 2:00 PM and you come to pick it up at 7:30 knowing that they close at eight and since they wanna leave early they tell you that they do not have the prescription in stock. So being insistent because the prescription should've been done by two, and I came at 7:30 I would not leave, they then said that they would give me a loaner. Then what do you know a few minutes later the whole prescription miraculously appeared in the store that they said they didn't have. I'm a young able-bodied person however this store is an area where there are a lot of elderly people who walk and or catch the bus or even Uber. They are to be ashamed of themselves. After a delicious birthday breakfast with my daughter and granddaughter in OTR Saturday morning we stopped here to pickup a variety of Oreo's both new and old favorites. Kroger had them on sale Friday and Saturday only with their digital coupon. I also needed a 12 pack of the Kroger brand carbonated water that I rely on to stay hydrated everyday. The parking lot was full of cars something I see no matter what day or time I come here. The layout of this store is similar to bigger and newer stores like the one at Marburg Avenue in Cincinnati. It has the chips and other bagged snacks up front along with the bottled and cabinated water. There is also a funky little clearance section in the middle of the store at the end of the pet aisle. We looked here but it was only lightly stocked with nothing much of interest to us. My daughter knew where the Oreo's were on display at the back of the store. There were several flavors I had never tried like the lemon and the fudge dipped. She had bought a few packages at another Kroger store the day before but wanted to at least try some other flavors. I could get up to 5 so I got what she wanted plus the awesome double stuff ones. I shared with her and she later shared with me. The birthday cake flavor is so good! We did a quick self checkout. This is right by the store entrance. It is very convenient. I will continue to stop here when I'm nearby and need an item or two. I like the size of this store. It is not too big or too small. My local Kroger. Not my favorite kroger (that would be the Newport Kroger marketplace). Still this one helps out in a pinch. Ok so the outside is kind of rough but overall no one gives anyone too much trouble. The inside is well not the cleanest or freshest. Limited fruits and veggies section of questionable quality. The fish looks downright dangerous. It feels chaotic and almost post-apocalyptic. The worst part is that the staff doesn't seem to enjoy being there (I say this while thinking of the pleasant staff at the Newport location). I'll always be back for the most part since it's only a few blocks away, but that's out of necessity. read more
