Mother's Day shopping at Kroger's, florist kicking back chatting away with a co-worker about the day (from what I noticed). I pick some flowers asking if they could be wrapped up and was told, 'Can't do anything with with those until 4pm (about 5 hours), so I walk away a short distance and they go back to chatting away. It's like.. really? after a few minutes the florist picks up a rose stem and very slowly starts working on it. If that was for an arrangement, it will take him all day at that speed. Considering the area was completely empty, no customers and he's just chatting away. His attitude made it seem as if I was bugging him or interrupting whatever conversation he had going on. I really felt unwelcomed, like I shouldn't be there. I put the roses back and head to HEB Plus across the street, and there's about 7 people eagerly assisting customers with floral arrangements, picking flowers, etc. I'm done with Kroger's floral dept. read more

It is irritating that Kroger website is down 2 or 3 time every week. I can never get in when I need to order groceries. You would think they could figure out how to fix that so that you don't have to constantly use other stores to buy your groceries. read more

The manager Lewis was digging in my groceries. I left my wallet outside. There was no other customers in self checkout. I literally was gone for a minute come back in. He took all my groceries put them in a basket and was eating grapes out of the bag that I am supposed to be paying for. just looks at me and said these are good. I informed him that I will be going to H-E-B to buy groceries. I'm not going to pay the $200 that's in my grocery basket because his hands are all over them and then he wants to call me a bad word and tell me to get out of his store. I asked to speak to the manager. He says I am the manager and the owner just get out. Lewis is always extremely rude to any customers he doesnt like. that's what the guy working customer service said. read more

This is one of the best grocery stores in Burleson because of the wide variety of choices and consistently low prices. We usually go to the smaller one in Crowley but this is a close second if we're not going to HEB. read more

First off I'm starting with the Pharmacy, both times I've had an appointment for the vaccine I was treated no earlier than 30 minutes after my appointment. Not just treated, even spoke to. I absolutely love this Kroger. The Cleburne location is much closer to me, but I would rather drive the extra time to shop here. Better selection, and the store as a whole is cleaner. I do love 98% of the staff. And miss a few that have moved to other locations. Louis (customer service), Debra (usually at the gas station) Angela and Michael (in the personal care, baby, seasonal area) are all some of my favorites. Lee (from meat dept.) Was always one of my favs. He was always willing to help any customer. Sometimes the kroger employees that do the personal shopping (click... Something) sometimes take up the whole aisle with their carts. Which can be somewhat annoying. But other than that I have no complaints. read more

We were so happy when Kroger opened right down the street from us so we didn't have to drive to the one in Crowley. We like to go early morning typically on Saturday and the staff are always very friendly. Usually going this early everything is fully stocked, but if we have to come later in the day or on a Sunday afternoon they will typically be out of some items. Occasionally some of the produce may not look so hot and one time I came and there were no lemons- not a single one. Sometimes the deli can be a little slow depending on who is helping you. They have gotten rid of several items we like but now we've gone without them for so long we don't notice anymore. I guess other people weren't buying them. Aside from that it always seems to be less crowded than H-E-B and the store is easy to navigate. There is a man in the produce section who always says hello and asks me what I am cooking. When I remember his name I will update. The store is always clean when we come. Pro tip: get the app! Every Friday there is a free download that is good to use for several days- assuming they aren't sold out! Also you can use the app to download coupons and even help find items in the store. read more

I really like this store. The seafood man always makes buying fish a pleasure! He's funny, always smiles, and gets the best cut for you. Give him a raise!! The others who work back there are also very polite and attentive. They never make you wait long! The cashiers are great too but yesterday the new lady in the self checkout was rude and wouldn't listen to my questions and even checked my bags to make sure I had scanned all the items in them. I was offended and I'm hesitant to return for this reason. Kroger, please hire quality staff that likes their job. read more

Gorgeous store, however, there are a few employees at this location who, unfortunately, should not be working in customer service roles. I would give 2.5 stars if I could. Prior to moving to this area from Houston, I have never had such unpleasant visits to Kroger. I won't go into detail here on Yelp since the majority of team members, like most of the ones who work on the floor (i.e. Restocking ), in the bakery as well as in the deli and at Starbucks are usually very friendly and helpful. Yet, I have been shopping here weekly for approximately six months and have had *several* encounters with cashiers and ladies at the customer service desk that have made me reconsider being a life-long Kroger customer. Aside from the inconsistent customer service, the store itself is awesome-large, very organized and always very clean. With a serene vibe, it has a great selection of everything- they even have clothes and shoes. You will hardly ever see this store too full or busy and I have never had to stand in line very long. I usually find everything I need here. They also have a decent clearance section and are usually very good at marking items down as they near their expiration dates. The pharmacy is usually very efficient and most generic medications are actually cheaper here when compared to other chains like Walgreens and Cvs. Overall, this is a solid place to grocery shop. Prices are comparable and they have great sales every few weeks. Again, I would have given more than 2.5-3 stars if I hadn't had MULTIPLE encounters with poor customer service. After repeatedly noting other customers being treated much friendlier, I can only hope that, in 2017, the recurrent distasteful encounters are not in any relation to my outer appearance. Should you decide to visit this store, I sincerely hope you have a better experience than I have had so far. And if certain employees are there while you are, I am confident that you will. But if you look like me, don't be surprised if you are faced with blunted affects, eye rolling and unprofessional conduct. If this happens, don't hesitate to go across the street to HEB instead. Though they are usually busier, the prices are often better and, more importantly, the customer service has always been phenomenal in my experience. read more

Twice the bakery messed up our birthday cakes. The first time we asked for a particular flavor and frosting in different bright colors but they brought out pastel colors and a completly different flavored cake then we ordered. This last time we ordered a Paw Patrol sheet cake and they brought out Troll cake on the order they wrote Poppy Troll. What!!!!! Then we had to wait 30 minutes for them to make the correct cske and the lady told us she would just give us the cake but put an $18 price tag on it. At the resister they had to call the bakery and they said they couldn't do that, but took off $8.00. All in all we will not be using Kroger as our bakery again. read more

Rude people terrible customer service. A glass bottle fell out of the bag when my mom picked it up. And it shattered all over the floor. The employees were very rude. Complained when they had to clean up the mess and even tho my mom got the replacement to help out. They still eyeballed her and had a bad attitude. read more

This place is AMAZING. I use to go the the Crowley Kroger - but got tired of the horrible managers and lack of stock. I don't know how many negative surveys I sent out. Is this Nazi Germany? Was I not wearing the proper star or triangle on my sleeve? Severe harassment and solicitors follow you around store barking, nagging, and invading your private space like a really bad wart that won't go away. As if already having a Kroger card was not enough for them. Then at the register, the cashier was harassing a really old man because he paid with cash and did not want a Kroger card. Then it was our turn to check out. She kept yelling and complaining how he comes in often and always pays cash and how she nags at him "every single time he comes in." As per Samuel Jackson in the movie Pulp Fiction, she was filled "with great vengeance and furious anger" at his repeated polite refusal. She was quite sickening. I also noticed at a different register that the black cashier, who looked exhausted, was left bagging everyone's groceries when all other cashiers was assigned a bagger. We will not be attending any Kroger stores ever again. There are several other local grocery stores to go to, with old-fashioned charm and manners, that do not have store cards and do not force their employees to harass customers. And if being employed in this kind of atmosphere, you agree to be a bully as your way to get a paycheck, then you have no dignity or principles. You're better off homeless than being forced to partake in societies problem. I would quit on day one and have all the other employees walking out with me. Have been using this location for about 6 months off and on. Usually have good service and can get in and out fairly quickly. Was there today and the store seemed pretty busy but not packed. There were quite a few "associates" walking around talking and greeting folks. After completing our shopping we went to the checkout lane. Once our turn came up, the lady at the register started ringing up the items and letting them crush other items on the belt and almost fall to the floor. Just about all the checkout lanes were open and they had 2 folks to bag up the groceries. Well, after I and at least a dozen others bagged up our groceries, it continued that no one was called to help out with the front. We talked to the on duty manager and he stated that he would take care of this issue and find out why no one was called to bag for the checkout people. Have never had this happen at a Kroger but at Aldi and HEB quite a few times. I guess I will go back to HEB or Walmart to save a little money instead of paying for the convenience of having my items bagged and getting in and out quickly. Thanks. read more
