Last evening, the store was filthy, shelves full of empty boxes, a store full of customers and two registers open for people with carts full of groceries. Self checking with a full cart is nearly impossible. Employees were standing around playing on their phones. All of this when Meijer is opening in three days just two miles away. I'm a Meijer customer from this point on, it's a much cleaner more pleasant experience all around. It's sad to see a new store go down hill like this and It be a plain nasty experience if it continues.

The store wasn't dirty or anything; it just seemed a little dated. My main reason for stopping in was to check out the bourbon selection. It was kind of minimal, but they did have a Heaven Hill rye Grain to Glass on the shelf. Where I'm from this is pretty much an allocated bottle so that was nice to see. From there you can shop for the items online and have them delivered by Walmart Spark Good Registry to a local Salvation Army. Keep in mind not all Walmarts have actual Angel Trees inside. A few items were sold out but that is to be expected at that time of year. The personnel was wonderful and helpful. Today I ordered curbside pick up and had an excellent experience. Only one substitution needed to be made which was easy. Everything was packed neatly. Nothing was smashed or crushed. The parking lot is set up for optimal convenience for the shopper. I highly recommend this new addition to Brownsburg.

(My favorite Saraga is the one in Castleton.) This Saraga is a little grody, to be honest. But how can you hate on a grocery store that exists in Indianapolis with such an abundance of food from all around the world? Overall, I am so glad this place is here. I visited Saraga not knowing what I was looking for, but was quickly drawn to the Japanese snacks aisle. I saw lots of different flavors of Ramune (that Japanese marble soda), which is my children's favorite, and Pocky, my favorite. Then I went to the seafood aisle and looked at the fish swimming in the aquarium below their unlucky brethren who had been filleted and arranged in the display case. Then I walked to the Mexican food aisle and saw many kinds of Mexican candy. The frozen food aisle had lots of different things, from Indian samosas to Korean vegetable pancakes. The meat aisle is hardcore. But, that's to be expected at an international grocery store. Be prepared to see pig snouts and chicken feet packaged next to less offensive, ambiguous red hunks of meat. This is the place to get bulk rice and beans, imported snacks and produce that you can't find anywhere else, like yuca root and plantains. So I decided to check this place out while I was in the area to see what this place offered. I enjoyed what the store offered since it featured nearly and everything practical that I've come to find at their stores normally. It's a much quieter store too since it doesn't seem like a lot of people shop here. Prices here though are a little bit more steep though whatever they run promotions is actually at a great price. Parking lot is big and ample so it shouldn't be hard finding a spot. Great selection of hot soups! Highly recommend shopping here!
