Our dog's never looked so good! I just picked up Rosie from Kristi's and she looks great. Rosie is 13 years old and gets very nervous going to the vet or a groomer. She doesn't have an issue with Kristi's though. When I picked her up she was clean, and trim, and her hair was so soft, just amazing. Tried this place for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised at the ease of scheduling over the phone. They took notes about how I wanted my dog's haircut to look like, and took only 3 hours as opposed to the estimated 4. However, my dog now looks AWFUL. She's basically bald; they cut all the fur around her face! I said I wanted it trimmed close to her eyes so she could see! I also said "keep the ears long, and the hair on top of her head long as I like to put bows on her." Her ears are short and uneven, as is the hair around her head. The worst part is that she was extra skittish and terrified after I picked her up!!! I should've backed out as soon as I saw one of the groomers yelling at the dog he was grooming on the table and dragging the dog angrily because he wouldn't sit still. read more

My dog was described by other groomers as "difficult/aggressive" and I even had to have him sedated "they" told me. If you want disappointment, unprofessional customer service or to simply be repaid with both for your loyalty as a longtime customer, then this is the place for you - for real! Made an appointment more than a month to get my dogs groomed and never got a text reminder like I used to so when appointment day came which was March 31st, I called to make sure they were expecting the 2 dogs I was about to bring (because it's a bit of a drive to get them there). Of course I was shocked when I was told they weren't scheduled. WHY?! No reason given but instead I was told they would be scheduled for May 6th. Through no fault of my own, I was expected to bend over backwards and accept this shitty treatment from them! Wow. Just wow. For somebody who goes to the same groomer for many years, I feel my loyalty has been taken for granted and no longer appreciated and rewarded instead with bad customer service so lesson learned - not going back. I'm giving my business to someone who value me as a customer and give genuine good customer service. read more

I have an elderly dog who's very sensitive to strangers, gets kennel shy, and has a hard time with blow dryers. The staff at Kristi's are very accommodating and let me know how my dog did each time, but do it in a way that makes me feel like a terrible pet owner. I get the sense that they have a lot of experience with skittish dogs, and know just how to handle them. Regarding COVID: they do very well to maintain social distancing and mask wearing, ensuring 1 customer in the lobby at a time. If there is a line of appointments, the stylists will come out and check you in from outside. read more

When I went in the lobby area is small, no one was at the desk. But some girl and a guy came from the grooming area, which was dirty looking, floor had hair all over it, tables were not cleaned up after last dog. The guy in black clothes said in your early, filled out their card and he did listen to his I wanted my dog groomed. I still let them groom him due to be really needed a bath and groomed. I told them call my cell number, but the same guy who was to groom my dog called me On my house phone. Luckily I was home, I went to pick my dog up and again same look of the grooming area, dog hair all over the floor, dirty grooming tables that had been used. A different guy at the desk said it was $65.00 for the grooming. He walked away while the process was being done in his tablet. The guy who groomed my dog went to get him from a back room, and walked him through all that dog hair on the floor. When I got home I noticed my dog was not groomed perfect, there was areas looked like longer and shorter areas, also be did not smell like they even washed him with anything. Not did he smell like they put any deodorizer on him. A waste of money, would never recommend them not take my dog back there. read more

I was excited to try out this groomer but was very disappointed when I picked up my dog. The cigarette smell was overwhelming and there was dog hair all over the lobby. The staff was not very personable and was not customer service-oriented. When we got home I noticed that the hair around my dog's face was cut very uneven. Like really uneven. My 10 month old lab "puppy" LOVES Kristi's. When we last visited she jumped out of the car and pulled me on the leash to the front door. I was initially impresses on her first visit, at 5 months, when the groomer came out to greet us. He got down on his knees and gave my puppy lots of love so she wouldn't be frighten by the new surroundings. We have returned three times since. They always do a great job! read more

Usually when I drop my little man off he freaks out and cries and when he returns he is a nervous reck! We have been bringing our dogs to see Tiffani at Kristi's for 5 years. Last week we got a text at 6:45am the day of our appointments saying she would not be in that day and to call after 9 am to reschedule. So I called as instructed and was told that Tiffani was no long with Kristi's and they are down three groomers and booked out until May and she didn't know what to tell me. She said she would have Chris give me a call after 11 and hopefully he would be able to help me. Well 11am came and went and no call from Chris. It has been 7 days and still no one from Kristi's has contacted me. I get this is a really unfortunate situation because of staffing issues but this is a ridiculous way to treat a long term client who you have left stranded the day of an appointment. In my opinion that is not even an attempt at customer service. I would say I will not be returning but no one ever called to try to get my dogs in so I guess they made that choice for me. read more

Amazing service and expertise. This is a sister store of a Capitol Hill location in Seattle that's been around for many years. They have immense experience and skill, and are definitely dog lovers themselves. Results were amazing - we didn't have to shave our Labradoodle puppy as other groomers had advised us to do in order to deal with some matting. Took our 1 yr old pomsky here and had to have them stop halfway. They refused to believe that she was not a samoyed and traumatized her from a young age. We've taken her to multiple groomers afterwards and never had this happen. She came home with her coat cut too short, nails improperly trimmed, and red inflamed skin; she was brushed very harshly while she had an injured leg. What was done to her was utterly cruel and we have found out many family friends who have tried this business also agree. Molly is no longer there! This Came as a shock to me when I went in coz my pup Rafiki had been familiarized with her over our last few visits! Not seeing her there startled me at first but Tiffany was super nice and gentle on Rafiki and that made me feel better. We tried a new shampoo on him and it worked perfect, he hasn't been scratching like he did last time. The hair is cut/shaved little too short but that may be my fault because I let his hair get too matted. His paws are not evenly shaped, but overall I'm relieved that he came back to me in one piece with no hiccups! Not seeing Molly scared me, but Tiffany was gentle and did great. I do a lot of research on groomers because of the horror stories one hears about what happens to their pet, so sharing with all that are concerned that even though Molly isn't there, Tiffany will be gentle with your fur baby. So don't panic :) Give her a chance to show u how kind she is with ur baby :) you will be pleased coz she won't hurt your baby! My furry little boy is only 2 and quite the spunky little shih Tzu. We have just moved into the area as of December and were looking for a place that was pretty reputable and we would feel comfortable taking him too. We had great experiences with our last groomer out in Monroe and wanted to keep up the trend. Being that this is the first dog I've ever had in the family, I wanted to make sure little man is well taken care of. And Kristi's delivers. . . It's been nice moving to an area where there is so many places conveniently located and at your fingertips, but I do not mind driving the extra 10 minutes to a place that my dog literally starts getting excited for when he realizes where we are. And this was only the second time we have taken him. The people who work there know him by name already and seem to really adore his company. I'm sure they do this often as there are a plethora of cute and fun pets coming in and out, but their treatment of him and how he responds to it does not go unnoticed. I drop off, go back home, get a call a few hours later, and come back to a pampered, trimmed, washed, tailored version of the shaggy dog I left earlier, and fitted with a fun little scarf (it was St. Paddy's day themed this time). All to the tune of roughly 75 bucks. My daughter and I love to refer to this venture as "Operation Make Elway Small", as he usually comes back half the pup he used to be. Bug eyed, dumber than all get out, but the sweetest thing you'll meet. So thanks Kristi's Grooming for taking such good care of him. We'll see you in a few months :) read more

I took my two Miniature Poodles there for the very first time and I had to say that Molly was amazing! She was very friendly and she groomed them in the exact way that I described. She did a great job! We took our puppy for his first grooming and after picking him up, immediately rushed him to the vet because he couldn't walk, shook like he was seizing and he couldn't even hold his head up. He was diagnosed as having ingested cannabis (marijuana). He was fine when we dropped him off and then he spent 4 hours at Kristi's and came back stoned. Whatever you do, don't take your dog here. They are dangerous. We are not the only ones to have had this happen. To make matters worse, when we told her and asked for them to cover the vet bill, she wouldn't even refund us the grooming charge because "did the dog not get groomed?". They don't care about animals or customers. If you care about your pup, go to a different groomer. read more

I finally got a response when I called for the third time, which I settled for even though the other grooming place didn't even bother to pick up or return my voicemails. They were available immediately which was a plus and the groomer on the phone was very nice and polite in helping me with the details of Chloe's cut. I think my rating is attributed to hoping she would look more different coming out, but maybe the groomer was being very conservative in how much was cut?? She had a great trim at the paws and private parts, but I was hoping her feathers would be a little bit more trimmed. That, plus the price of $50 didn't seem reasonable to me. A good price to me would have been at most $40. When I called to let them know I was picking her up, the guy was not as nice as the gal on the phone. It appeared that he was the husband of the owner or something. Lastly, when I received Chloe, I was hoping to get some feedback on how she managed from the groomer since it was her very first cut experience, but I didn't get much feedback at all. Just that she did fine. First impressions really do matter! Unfortunately, I don't think I want to come back a second time. I'm sure they do much better with others. read more

I'm a couple weeks late posting this review, but Kristi's grooming was great. They were able to get me in quickly, with 2 Pomeranians. One of my dogs tends to get a greasy coat and mats easily. Well, it's been 2 weeks and he is as soft and silky as the day he got groomed. No mats. I don't know what they use....I've been using something recommended by Mud Bay, (I also love them) but that particular shampoo just wasn't working for his fur. I started going to Kristi's when looking for someone or some place to help me learn how to Dremel my dogs nails. I was pretty gun shy about doing this myself so I wanted help. My dog is pretty large, so I was finding a lot of places wouldn't want to work with him. The first time I called I explained what I needed and that I actually wanted to learn also. Tiffani took the call and was very kind and set up a time for us to come in. Tiffani and all the other girls pitched in and helped keeping my dog still and calm. They did great! Ever since then, I am able to call and get in easily, they make time for me and treat my dog very well. I have also started doing a bit of the dremeling myself at home thanks to all the girls there! Keeba's first visit today went well. He was a rag-a-muffin when we brought him in having been boarded for 17 days. He came out happy and clean-all his white parts were white again! Will definitely bring him back. Tiffany was great with him. Glad they got a chance to do a brief meet and greet before they took Keeba back. It was nice to see Tiffany interact with Keeba. My two corgis went here for a grooming and my poor male corgi has scabs from them brushing his undercoat too roughly. He has bald patches now and is very tender in the raw areas. This has never happened before. He is clearly scarred from this experience and we will never be back here again. I can't even imagine how hard they would have had to brush him to get these kinds of sores. read more

Will not be returning, had a very negative experience today with a groomer who just did not seem to be safety conscious or coordinated. She did not have a steady hold on my dog, and my dog jumped off the table and was hanging by the neck. This was incredibly scary for me. I think there are some groomers at Kristi's who are better, but I cannot recommend them after this experience. There was not any apology. Additionally, the entire shop just has appeared to have gotten less clean, lots of dog fur and hair on the floors of the grooming part, also in entry way - I expect some, but not this amount of fur, hair, and dirt. read more
