Exactly what you would expect from a gas station. Lukewarm and mediocre - cooked hours before and kept warm under a heat lamp.

The chicken was cold and old. The Mac and cheese was watery. They totally forgot my biscuit. Reason I don't eat gas station food.

I first scooped into the baked beans and immediately said to my wife 'these beans are good.' Flavor packed. The ribs could fall apart more but they were juicy and tender. The spicy sauce (medium for the range) built nicely. I had fire mouth when I left but eating them was not overwhelming. If heat makes you buckle get mild.

When we arrived…read morearound 1:00P on a Monday, the restaurant was pretty quiet except for a couple other customers that came in over the course of an hour. Rhodie's features several types of sandwiches, a few platter options and a couple of combos. You can also order meats by the pound with the choices being beef brisket, chicken, ribs, pulled pork and hot links. We decided to share the SMOKIN' COMBO ($55) which included ribs, two quarter chickens and two hotlinks with our choice of two large sides. There are three options for sauce: mild, spicy and extra spicy. We went with the spicy sauce after the employee described it as being "middle of the road" in terms of heat. After we had placed our order at the counter, the employee brought over our food in less than 10 minutes, which was surprisingly quick. They must have all the meat prepared, so they just cut the pieces, slather on the sauce and scoop up the sides. When I say they slathered on the sauce, I am not exaggerating - just see the photo. All the meat came on a single plate and the sauce completely covered everything, with plenty of it also pooled at the bottom. Had we known, we would have requested the sauce on the side. It had a moderate kick of spice, but it was tolerable and not the kind that numbs your tastebuds. I loved the chicken which included two drumsticks and two thighs. The meat was perfect - succulent, juicy and fell off the bone. The ribs were very meaty and although the menu said the combo would come with four ribs, they actually put six on our plate; four large ones and two smaller ones. They had a nice smokiness to them and most of the meat was tender, with just some small spots of dryness. Finally, the hotlinks were plump and hefty with a good snap to the casing. Flavor-wise, I thought they were okay, but had they not come as part of the combo, I probably wouldn't have ordered them separately. We selected the coleslaw and baked beans as our sides, which they had scooped into plastic containers. Even though the coleslaw was basic with just cabbage and dressing, I really enjoyed it. The cabbage was super crunchy and fresh while the dressing was relatively light with an addicting seasoning. It was just right. The baked beans were average...sweet with some chunks of bacon cooked into the sauce. We managed to polish off the entire combo and were happily full by the end of it. When you have a carnivorous calling, it's worth stopping by Rhodie's!

We stopped here with our rv trailer and I walked our 2 dogs while the guys went inside to order breakfast. I wish I had looked at the time we arrived. I noticed the car line seemed slow, and sometimes the car at the food pickup window was pulling out but the following car was still back at the pay window. That seemed weird but whatever. I'm a patient person, but after about half an hour I decided to go inside to tell the staff to give some of lobby customers their orders too. The guys were on their way out the door when I was headed in the door. Back at the truck, one of our three sandwiches wasn't ours! Back inside, they made the right one immediately! What the eff. Why did it take so long for our order in the first place? While we ate in the truck we watched the drive-up line creep forward one at a time, help up at the pay window. When we left, a red pickup that was after the order screen was finally at the pickup window. I think next time we'll just park here and walk across the street to Burger King. The food quality was fine, normal for a McDonald's pumping out breakfasts.

Was a beautiful sunny fall day and decided to go to the Snoqualmie Subway for a quick late lunch…read more This was at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday October 5th! No hello or signs of being welcomed in. Felt like we were intruding into someone's home. The one and only employee was clearly annoyed when we walked in. Probably due to interrupting his time sitting at a table and being on his phone. The first sandwich was a a simple 6 inch tuna. Every part of the process seemed to be infuriating for him. Granted we were the only customers in the store. Asked for toasted... tray was aggressively thrown in the oven. Oil and vinegar was asked to be put on after the vegetable toppings went on, but that request was ignored. We asked for what we wanted only to have the toppings thrown on the sandwich. The second sandwich was the same experience. We felt like we were inconveniencing the employee and were just counting the seconds until we could get out of there. And I'm sure he was doing the same. I get having a bad day, but this was on another level of discomfort being so unwelcome in the store. I would be so humiliated as an owner to have such an unfriendly and impatient employee. After the sandwiches were completed we presented our coupon which was clearly valid and was for a free six inch sub alongside the purchase of any footlong sub. The coupon was denied and there was no reasonable explanation as to why it was not accepted, as we have been many times before and used the coupons with no issue (the coupon was also not expired so there was no reason it shouldn't have been accepted). All communication with the employee was a mumbled frustrated grunting and so we cut our losses and payed for both subs which were made with no care or integrity. Didn't think a visit to a subway could dampen a mood so significantly. Or course we moved on with our day, but it was a remarkable experience. Not in a good way! I would reconsider who you are hiring because we will not be revisiting if this employee is working.

I think the owners should put the bone in their mouth while eating dinner and see how they feel. The Subway legal team will only do something if an injury is sustained.
