Bonchon is an OK place to have a quick Korean fried chicken lunch or dinner. I thought the pricing was OK. There was nothing too amazing about the sauces on the wings. The spicy sauce wasn't spicy at all to me and the soy garlic was tasty. The coleslaw was mid. I got a side of rice and you can't mess rice in a rice cooker. The restaurant was semi clean. There was a lot of restaurant stuff in the hallway towards the restrooms that had to be dodged. There were a lot of teenagers eating at this location or very young adults no older than 25. My friend and I were the oldest people in there. We are well over 35. My friend likes this restaurant and frequents a lot. I don't see myself going back unless I have absolutely nowhere else to go.

He seemed a bit nervous and asked the manager about it and that manager was so patient and helpful to that young man. The manger then went to the register and showed him how to ring the items up as it's a different way than the food. He guided him and was encouraging him the whole time. The manager went in back to get me my CANE leg lamp plushie out of a brand new box. As I was waiting I had a chance to observe the crew working and handling the drive thru. Wow they were all into of their game and it was a good cohesive bunch. It makes sense to see this as whenever I go thru the drive thru everything is always correct and given to me in an appropriate time and NEVER with contempt or a bad attitude. There was a crew member who was making kids meals bags and asked if I wanted some stickers to go with my Christmas story plushie, they were also Christmas story themed. Anyhow I like this Canes and I will be back.

First Visit & Definitely Not Our Last!…read more This was our first visit to Slims Chicken, and right away we were impressed by how clean, welcoming, and inviting the location felt. We were greeted with a warm hello, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. As we looked over the menu, we were thrilled to see okra -- such a fun and unexpected bonus! We ordered the chicken meal and a chicken sandwich, and everything was delicious. The okra was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the chicken tenders were juicy and really tasty. We're already excited to come back and try the jar desserts next time. What a great first visit -- so good! Thank you, Slims Chicken. We'll definitely be back.

I don't remember feeling anything. It was our first time in, and Niki did an amazing job explaining the menu. We did come in for the Fallout collaboration, but they were sold out and weren't getting a restock for a couple days. 3 stars for service…read more The service was hands down superb- everyone was super friendly, and the food came out quickly! As a big BBQ lover, I was excited to try this, but it just wasn't for me. I've never had pulled pork bright pink in color, with such a different smell and a flaccid, chewy texture. After a couple bites, I just couldn't do it. The mac & cheese was basic, the baked beans could have used seasoning, and the BBQ sauce was a huge letdown - no smoke/spice there. Everything smelled amazing and looked great, so I really wanted to love it, but the food just didn't deliver. The service was excellent, if it was just about that. Maybe it's just a different style of barbecue. I like a lot of seasoning, flavor, and spice and I didn't get any of that here. Nothing stood out as decent. Recommendations? Is there something better on the menu I missed?
