I ordered from this store on door dash and it was not Kristy krunchy product. I ordered an 8 piece combo and got six legs and two breast. It came I generic trays tied in a generic grocery bag. The food was not covered and the potato wedges were some fries that looked homade. This is not a legit franchise. I've eaten a lot of kristi krunchy and this was not it!! Avoid this store. This location is not the one you want to go to for Krispy Krunch Chicken. I went there today at 11AM. The store was locked, the manager opened up as I was walking away, he said they were open. No one else was there, but there was chicken under the heat lamp. I bought a 3 piece dark, got to work 5 minutes later and bit into it, Rubbery, Cold, tasted like dirty oil was used. it was absolutely disgusting. Straight into the dumpster. The racoons will be happy tonight. Also, I just realized I didn't even get my bisquit and side! I paid for it. One thing I noticed is the bisquits under the heat lamp did not look like the ones I've gotten from other Krispy Krunchy Chicken Locations. I had previously gone to this location for their Krispy Krunchy chicken a few months ago and the Chicken was great seasoned like all the other Krispy krunchy chicken locations I have visited. I was really disappointed in the Chicken today, it had No flavor at all not even black pepper or salt. Usually the chicken from Krispy krunchy chicken has a Cajun flavor when you bite into it. This chicken was fried but had no taste almost like eating boiled chicken. I don't know if they are cutting corners by not purchasing the chicken through the Krispy Krunchy chicken franchise. The owner and cook who were both there as we picked up were very polite.. location was a bit off, there were some customers who seemed to look creepy.. The store has a big chinese grocery attached to it.. I wanted to stay longer to browse their store but i opted out as i felt uncomfy.. Ordered 25 pieces of chicken and this is how it was dropped off by Postmates. Does anyone else see the safety issue in this? It's not seal, it's not in a bag it's opened and has partial rips in it. It's not packaged how it usually is in their box. I'm so upset because we ordered it for company that is coming over and although it smelled delicious we couldn't eat it because we don't know how it was handled. We love Krispy Krunchy Chicken on West Texas Street so much, that we refer our neighbors to it often. We have a very good friend that now goes to it, 2 to 3 times a week. My husband and I love fried chicken but finding good fried chicken is not so easy. We fell in love with this chicken! It was full of flavor, moist, not dried out at all, very krispy and krunchy. The potato wedges are not as crispy as I would like but if you put them in the air oven to crisp up, they are delish. Very disappointed. I didn't feel safe around the location in the middle of the day. It's in the back of a dark convenient store next to a check cash place. Lots of sketchy people walking around the area. Chicken was ok. Cajun chicken strips had no Cajun seasonings. Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes tasted bad. The red beans and rice were gross. The guy pored honey straight onto the biscuits and then put them in a bag sideways and the bag soaked through from the honey and got all over the fries. read more

I have ordered here 4 times since they opened and have been disappointed 3.5 times of the 4.. Incompetent workers who obviously don't wanna be there, prices higher than normal Krispy Chicken in the Bay area, and chicken thats not so fresh. Twice I ordered over $30 worth of stuff and food was forgotten to be put in my bag when I got home, I realized. Samosas were dried out, waited 15 minutes for fresh chicken only to realize once I drove away I was given the chicken in the window anyway.
