I agree with the comments on here. I don't have a problem with the food but the attitude is horrible. I just went through the drive thru and when I ordered the lady huffed at me. I asked her if it was ok to order a dozen variety and she told me whatever. When I paid she did not give me the correct change back. When I asked her about it the manager came over to move me along. Ahh, I miss these shops in the Chicagoland area. KrispyKreme probably opened too many stores and along with Caribou Coffee were pushed out of the area by DD and Starbucks. What a shame! Having said that, I stopped here this morning and enjoyed 1) good service! 2) donuts boxed up hot off the line 3) good coffee 4) enjoyment of seeing the "Hot" sign lit up-signaling fresh out of the oven donuts. Couldn't give zero stars but this place deserves a big 0. Pulled up in the drive thru and see a sign that says "no cash". OK so I ask if I can pay inside w cash, since I wanted to use cash, they say if you have exact change. Good lord, what's up with this place? I give, then go inside, only to stand there by myself in line and no one offering to take my order. Then I see a dozen is $15 so after waiting too long for just basic customer service, I leave to get a dozen elsewhere for half the price that taste just fine. Every time that hot light is on and I'm driving by, I always stop in. It's a trap! But their donuts are by far the best you can get. They blow Dunkin' out of the water. Absolutely love these donuts but I have experienced the worse customer service . I ordered 2 glaze and 2 cream filled. I was charged for coffee I did not order. Ok that was corrected on the spot. I get my order and there are holes in the cream filled donuts but no cream! Ok now I have to pull back around to the drive thru the guy takes the box of donuts returns with a bag of donuts and and he only put the two cream filled in the bag. What happened to my regular glaze donuts? Ok so I ask where is the glaze? It's a rude place. I bought 2 dozen of glaze that was supposedly hot (that's what there sign told) but they was cold as ice. When I ask for hot donuts they keep telling me these donuts were hot. I told them in a nice way I want a refund. But then they got very hateful n mean. I am a lover of hot, fresh krispy kreme donuts, however, the service I have received at these establishments of late has had me rethinking my choice in donut providers. The Krispy Kreme at Rivergate was just recently remodeled, reopening their store the week of July 4th. You would think that they would have their business in order; but not quite. My wife and I just paid them a visit today. On their menu, they are advertising "Birthday Cake Batter" and "Brownie Batter". When I placed my order, I requested a glazed donut for my 2 year old, a glazed sour dough donut for my wife and a brownie batter donut for myself. Let me remind you that they have only been opened for a little over a week. The girl on the speaker first informed me that they no longer sell the Birthday Cake Batter and the Brownie Batter donuts. What?!! Your menu is only 9 days old and you no longer sell them?!! Then take it off of your menu!! Simple enough! Then to top off the experience, she tells me that their glazed donuts are cold! I replied with, "how about I try you guys again in a couple of months and maybe you can get your stuff in order! I must say that this experience is not isolated to this one location. While vacationing in Charleston, SC we decided to stop by Krispy Kreme on our way back home. At this particular time, Krispy Kreme was advertising their Key Lime Pie donuts. We went in to the store to place our order. I am looking in the case and at the labels and everything I ordered, other than original glazed, I was told that they were out; even though there were donuts behind the labels. I finally asked about it and was told that they do that to make the case look full. As a customer, it was frustrating. We ordered 3 donuts and a iced coffee latte. We ended up getting 14 donuts bc the girl with braces can't hear. And then hands me an iced coffee without whipped cream which would have been fine if she had asked me before making it/charging me for it. She did offer to refund my cc charge but she plainly had attitude and I just wanted to get away before she ended up charging me for more items I didn't order. I discovered this location when I learned the Starbucks next door was as small as it is. The Krispy Kreme is never busy...each time I've stopped in for coffee and WIFI I've found it deserted. Of course, donuts might represent a temptation, but if you're looking for a quiet place to work, good coffee, or a place to meet someone that isn't loud and packed with babbling tweens, this is the solution for you. Fresh, hot little circles of mmmmmmmmmmmm good!

I went to this Krispy Creme place on Thursday and bought a dozen glazed for my boyfriend and a dozen chocolate iced creme filled for me. I took one out of the box of the chocolate iced creme filled and there was just a dab of chocolate on top and practically no creme in the middle. Well I drove one and a half hours home. Put them in my freezer. Got one out this morning to eat and ate almost the whole doughnut without even tasting any cream inside. This is the best Krispy Kreme in MiddleTN. The one in Smyrna TN, uses donuts made from the KK on Sam Ridley. The KK on Sam Ridley provides products for most of the stores in middle TN. They are bad about giving you old wholes made from earlier that morning or the day before. This location always has fresh product and consistently makes fresh wholes around 6am every day. When the hot light is on, there is no better place to be. When it is not on and it is late in the day......hmmmm. I gave it 5 stars as I am an eternal optimist and when they are good they are very good. When they have been sitting all day and the selection is sparse, better to just leave and come back another time. KK is far better than those heavy dunkin doughnuts that just sit on your stomach making you feel like a rock is sitting there. Ditto for those starbuck ones which just add more sugar. Hot light on, run don't walk! Maple topped are my favorite. Whatever they did to the lemon filled needs to be undone. That gelatinous filling is gawd awful.
