I was so excited to see this Krispy Kreme location on my way. I went through the drive through. Waited forever! Times have changed, they offer a dozen donuts for 15.00! Or 3 for 7. One donut is 1.99. I wanted to try them so I ordered a 3 pack and a cinnamon roll. They were good, the cinnamon roll was better, great texture and right about of sweetness. The donuts needed more glaze. This review is for customer service alone. I don't know if management changed because about a year ago I would consider them having good hospitality, but within the past few months every single time i've been greeted with unwelcoming tones. In the drive thru they can never hear through the speaker so they tell you to pull up and then have attitudes. It's been a time that I pulled up after placing a mobile order and they closed down early due to unknown reasons and didn't even try to satisfy a paying customer who drove all the way down when they had hundreds of donuts in store. Drove across town (28 miles) here to buy my kids Pac-Man donuts, only for the store to be closed more than 30 minutes before posted closing hours. Lights were off. Chairs were up on tables. Customer service my mother came and I came to get her free doughnut by the way and we also purchased donuts, but they didn't give her free donut cause she couldn't walk all the way in. I let them know that she's disabled and that she's on a cane and that she's not able to completely walk in. I told her she just walked to the door that way you can see her and get the free donut and that was not good enough. She said yes, and then she changed her mind about the donut the girl name is Sophie. She works there. I came in around 5:30 5:40 PM November 29 and it's like I don't know if she got a problem with anyone, but I didn't give her no attitude because I didn't wanna escalate the situation. I have loved every Krispy Kreme I have ever been to EXCEPT THIS ONE. Where should I start? I woke up early on St.Patricks day, excited to wear my green shamrock shirt and get a Luck of the Rainbow Doughnut! Krispy Kreme advertised that they also give you a free glazed donut if you wear green and my kiddos were stoked to visit. To our surprise we walked in the doors at 8:00 after a 30 minute drive to get some delicious donuts and found the there was a box of decorations on the table next to the door, horrible tasting coffee, and zero excitement from the staff. The donuts were lusterless, dry, and didn't taste fresh. No one offered a free donut to the kiddos that wore green and every holiday donut cost extra. All things green including donuts?!?! Why not. So Krispy Kreme runs the if you come in green you get some free green (1 free green donut) on St. Patrick's day. So I loaded up my two who were determined to wear green to not be pinched by one another to go experience all that KK has to offer. There is some nostalgia to my visit as my parents always took us when the conveyers were running to watch the donuts & to adorn a silly paper hat. Sadly conveyer was running but completely empty. Think we caught a glimpse of small batch old fashioned coming through before we left. We were not offered or told about the free green donut upon arrival. Even though my crew was clearly decked out for it. I was thrown off by first greeting of "how many?" Perhaps it's not an odd question but if I wasn't ready for it; I just wanted to start picking and I'd I got past half dozen or close you could up-sale me on reaching those numbers. So I stepped to the side to try and count what I wanted. The "holiday" donuts were what I was after but their presentation was lack luster no Hat O' Gold doughnut and my rainbow was missing from the Rainbow Kreme Filled doughnut (pure sadness we just had a cold front and rain come through seems like rainbows should be a plenty). It's a small added touch to me that shouldn't had been missing. Spending 20.08 for 15 sugar bombs (custom assorted adds .30 cents a donut and already 4.99 for a 3 pack). My kids smiles made it worth the price but I feel this location is just hum and drum; and looking at other reviews they don't seem to run the Hot Sign too often which is a big bummer. And for those people that are getting mad about the holiday doughnuts being 50 cents extra, what do you expect? Of course the doughnuts are going to be more expensive, they are in high demand! I ordered a dozen kreme filled donuts through Uber eats. The receipt had the correct order, however when we received the order it was incorrect. When I contacted the store, the initial person said she had to get the manager. The "manager" said very loudly in the background, "girl why did you answer the phone don't be answering the phone at night," then got on the phone. The only option given was for us to get in the car(I cannot see to drive at night) and bring it back (in an unfamiliar town) in less than an hour...and was told it was because there were new people. We were not even offered the opportunity to go tomorrow and make the exchange. So, not the first time at this location...good luck getting service at 6:00 a.m.! Wanted to grab a dozen for work, was in the drive through behind one car (at the window). No one came on the speaker to take my order, so when the other car drove off, I moved up...no one manning the window. Went and got gas, came back (now 6:05), and I was the fifth car in the drive through. Still no one at the window...five customers drove off! But the Manager shouldn't feel too bad...same thing at the Dunkin Donuts down the street! Hope you guys are exceeding your sales goals every month! Was driving by this morning and decided to stop, I've never been to this location and was hesitant to stop because of some of the reviews about this particular location I thought well if the donuts or service are not good at least the coffee should be good! I was excited for krispy kreme to be in the area of humble, this place should be a prime location being that its right off of 1960 fm and near bush airport but this doesn't have that feel, it has a feel of someone just built this location bought the franchise name and neglected the place. this is a horrible location and is in need of attention, such horrible service, long lines at the drive threw, short lines inside at times with a wait time and hardly hot fresh glazed donuts which they should be cranking out in the am but it is random when they have hot fresh glazed and the times I've gone had to settle for the glazed that has been sitting. now to the donuts and coffee, my favorites are the blueberry donut and the apple fritter. the apple fritter is amazingly good apples and frosting blend well with the thick fried dough, the blueberry is good very tasty and has a good crisp to them when biting. my daughter loves the strawberry frosted donut with sprinkles. the glazed donuts are good but rather have them hot fresh, and the coffee is ah ok could be better not sure if its the way its made or if its been sitting there. this place has such potential customers want better results out of it, this krispy kreme location can do better. read more

I love KK! It's a nostalgic piece of my childhood. When that "HOT" light comes on, you know what time it is... What I don't care for is the staff... I usually stop by when in the area to grab a treat for my kids and when I do, I'm always left frustrated with the complacency emitted from the employees here. Terrible, TERRIBLE presentation and personalities working on the front lines and by gosh - it makes it hard to love something when someone is so bitter. Adding to that - when you're so lazy that you just don't want to make a latte that you blame the machine "not working," as an easy out - it leaves much questioned. Kryspy Kreme has always been my favorite since I was a kid. This time management decided to only have one cashier run the drive through and the counter. I was there first. I was also inside and not in the drive through. I made a portion of my order to an unthrilled teenager. Then had to wait five minutes to finish my order becuase evidently the drive throuhg takes precidence. After she was finally done with the drive through order she preceeded to tell me my total. This would still have been fine but like I said earlier, I wasn't finished with my order to which I recieved my second eye roll. So I told her that I wasn't happy with the way things were going. Her excuse was there was only two workers there. Therefore management is to blame. One for not relaying the importance of customer service and happiness for my patronage. What's not to love about Krispy Kreme?? Always consistently delicious whether the HOT light is on or not!!

I'm not a doughnut guy, I have never had Krispy Kreme. For whatever reason I had an overwhelming need to try one. A) drove nearly 30 minutes out of our way; okay I understand that's the business model no problem B) only car in drive thru on a Tuesday morning, the drive-thru attendant was extremely frustrating to start the visit, rude and short, almost condescending with a very large side of rushing. Literally first experience at the business and no courtesy of taking it all in or being acknowledgeable C) the order of "donut dots" says a different price with order of a dozen, which yes in retrospect "a dozen donuts" makes sense however that's not what it says it says "with purchase of dozen" to my inference which could have easily been remedied with friendly interactions, seemed as though it meant a dozen "donut dots" because they are listed at 10 or 24? Which is odd considering it's typically 12, "a dozen donut holes" very confusing ESPECIALLY for first time customers D) we downloaded their app because honestly a lot of them are worth the rewards, well "their system has been down since Saturday" okay again, understand, it happens, no apology or interaction to offer to use the reward from drive through girl, just that we can upload a receipt, wasn't until I brought up the issues that the manager said well if you show me I can use it, pretty aggressively and then gave me the reward donut and even more aggressively said "thank you!" E) My wife and I were also excited to get hot chocolate because they advertise that it's Ghirardelli's, well they also did not have any of that nor an apology. Here we are now on problem 5, with probably some of the worst customer service I have experienced from a higher end more "elite" fast food enterprise. It's yeasty, soft, dense, with a creamy Oreo filling (but not too sweet or heavy!) and the crumbled Oreo topping gives it a good contrasting crunch texture. It's not too chocolatey, but still very satisfying for anyone with a craving for such a flavor. This donut is the bad boy you discover who actually had a soft gooey inside. A Krispy Kreme doughnut is a Krispy Kreme doughnut. THAT alone is a wonderful thing! When their "Hot" sign is lit - They corner the market on fresh glazed donuts! However... When we moved here 14 years ago, we were stunned at what the locals considered doughnuts. ALL of the donuts, at ALL of the Krispy Kreme Doughnut shops back home, were consistently, and astonishingly, DELICIOUS. And - a filled Krispy Kreme Doughnut was indeed a FILLED doughnut. Here - The lemon filling is just strange. It taste nothing LIKE Krispie Kreme's lemon-filling. Additionally - They seem to be 'rationing' their fillings. When you want a jelly-FILLED doughnut, a *nickel-sized amount (no kidding!) will NOT do. It's a mouth full of dough with NO filling. There is (most often) not even a jelly-filled-BITE. *We've given them many hope-filled opportunities to prove this blunder was merely a fluke. Sadly, It appears to be the ever consistent Standard. [*To our delight, we did eventually find ONE shop (in Humble) that KNOWS how to make wonderful jelly-filled donuts.] So.... While the "HOT" sign will take us straight to Krispy Kreme's door for hot, glazed donuts - We are heading to a tidy little shop, called "Glazed Donuts" on Atascosita Road, for super delicious jelly-FILLED donuts (Their Lemon filling is out of this world!). Finally ~ If you're ever in the Carolinas ~ I hope you treat yourself to a real jelly-filled Krispy Kreme doughnut. I wake up early to drive 15 minutes to our closest Krispy Kreme. I get there at six on the dot the drive-through doesn't open until like 6:03 or 6:05 but OK no big deal. Then when I get to the window and I asked the girl if I can have a dozen glazed donuts for my daughter's class. She tells me that THAT Krispy Kreme location (Humble, TX) does not make glaze donuts until seven in the morning. I visited the store today around 11:20 am and waited about 20 min in line for 4 donuts and a drink. When I arrived at the speaker to order I waited another 3mim I then pulled up to the window to order and the attendant told me to "go back around and wait in line because I didn't place my order" she continued to say "they only have 3 people working and she just got back from break ". She continued to say she "would only take my order if it was something simple " I was only able to order 1 donut. The customer service here is HORRIBLE actually suggesting the customer to wait in line shin while you were not going your job . This location has not been here long and is already going down. This business is supposed to closed at 10 PM. We arrived there at 9:40 and they just ignored us. We were asking through the drive-through if they are still open but no response then we move forward to the next window and I saw like 10 person all of them ignoring us, and at the end we had to leave. They were cleaning and closing before the time of closure. Sad thing is that we trust the schedule and we did an effort to go at that time. Came today to try the limited churro donuts. Ordered the 3 different flavored pack and an additional original cinnamon sugar one. It's the only location so it's not like you can go back when u live 35 min away. I get home open that box and I get 3 of the same flavors and the additional one with NO topping or icing. I call talk to the girl. She apologize but I don't need an apology, what is that gonna do? I need to just have my order right one time. I asked her if they don't pay attention on what they're doing. It's not rocket science to pick the flavors ordered. She said we do pay attention but I wasn't the one who made them I picked them. Ok so you're the one who clearly messed my order. Because you didn't pick what I wanted. How hard is it, girl? U just pick a donut and put them in a box. I really am worried about this generation. This is the laziest Gen ever. And those hiring managers need to do better at giving jobs to those who want to work and or CARE to work. Come on now? This isn't a job that you have to bust your ass, it's the easiest job.
