My friend surprised me with the featured Harry Potter donuts. As an avid HP fan, the donuts were decorated beautifully. The sorting hat donuts had a surprise inside and as you bite into it, the colour determines your house. Interactive and fun. As it was a surprise for me, I am unable to comment on the service or staff on this occasion. However, based off of previous visits, I have nothing negative to say about it. read more

My husband always stops in to Krispy Kreme every time he is in Vancouver/Delta. He brings home a couple dozen of his favourite...apple fritters. What has happened to this establishment!? The price has gone up, and nary a piece of apple to be had in these over-cooked-in-rancid-oil fritters. Did someone new take over!? We were so disappointed and shocked. Not to mention my husband stated his coffee tasted poorly. Pretty bad when Save-On Foods apple fritters surpasses a store that supposedly specializes in them. I assume they are taking the "Krispy" in Krispy Kreme to heart. I'm deeply saddened our deep freeze now has a couple dozen of these useless nerds in it. It is too bad that so many Krispy Kreme locations closed down. I had to visit this one across an international border to get my childhood donut fix. This location is off of 120 St. in a large shopping plaza so it's hard to miss. The inside is clean and brightly lit. There is a long, but it goes quickly. The original glazed donut is my favorite it tastes the best when heated up in a microwave. read more

So I've lived in the lower mainland since 2005, and hate to admit this was my first time here. I know, hate to admit it especially a donut lover like myself. I have many excuses. I've been to other locations in the US. Someone told me it was the lady KK location in Canada. Also coming here is like being transformed to the 70s or 80s its so retro. Like old style diner or cafes. I happened to be in the area and stopped by. I love that you can watch the fresh donuts get glazed. I love how affordable the are. Im so use to going to gourmet donut shops and paying $6-7 for 1! KK is great, Im a fan! Donuts are always fresh. I don't live in the area, but I will be back. Tip: a cousin in the states told me if you have a KK donut that's not fresh heat it up in the microwave for 11 seconds and it will come out just like fresh, I didn't believe him until I tried it. I like how they are very creative when it comes to special days like Halloween and Christmas, but my heart always melts for the OG! The Original Glazed! I bought a dozen donuts for $12.95. But if you like to save more, you can get the 2nd dozen for an extra $7.00. For freshness of donut, best to eat them between 1-3 days. After that, you still have the texture, you can warm it up a little bit in your microwave, but not too long or it will be too hot. I don't recommend storing them to freeze and defrost, I heard it doesn't taste good. You can no longer ENTER through the front door, you have to enter from the RIGHT SIDE, but exit at the FRONT door. There is ample parking because it is shared with the SCOTTSDALE mall. Original Glazed donuts will always be a REPEAT on my list. I heard that if you do drive thru, they give you an additional donut for free. This was true prior to COVID restrictions of 2020, so I don't know if they still do this or not, anyone out there ever tried the DRIVE THRU window? read more

The only Krispy Kreme in BC, half an hour drive from where I live. Quiet for a Saturday evening inside Krispy Kreme, although there was a line up for drive thru. The original glazed is the best donut, melts in your mouth and takes seconds to eat. The donuts were warm and delicious. I was disappointed with the custard filled donut, where's the custard?! Went through the drive thru, asked for a dozen original glazed. Was told the price was $40.85!!! I clarified three times with the young man at the windows. Did NOT purchase. A couple of hours later I called the manager. After my call was discontinued twice I was able to speak to the manager to be told the young man didn't understand me. It's been a hot hot minute since I've been out here at a Krispy Kreme, and these are so iconic because back then when I was a kid, I would remember these as amazing treats to have and never all the time. Not sure if I have been spoiled or have had better donuts elsewhere. Krispy Kreme is no longer as tasty as I remembered it to be. Maybe their plaine glazed donuts are yummy. I came here with B and I got a lemon filled glaze donut and he got a raspberry filled glaze donut. The lemon glazed donut was not fluffy when I got it. The filling was tasty. But it was lacking.......something. The donut place is somewhat dirty. They really need to hire more staff to clean up the tables. I also noticed that people constantly come in to buy donuts. The one and only Krispy Kreme in BC. They've been there for as long as I can remember. A great place for cheap donuts and a quick sugar fix. They've a wide selection of donuts and flavours. Their kitchen is semi open with lots of glass, so you can see everything that's happening in the back. Also like any good old American fast food chain, they have a drive through too. Personally I find their donuts too sweet, after one or two bites I can't distinguish the different flavours. The most stand out flavours for me is the birthday cake and raspberry. Overall their donuts are light and soft. Good to go with a cup of black coffee. Don't think I can have more than 1 at a time though. read more

Finally went to KK to get my own doughnuts. Waited in line to finally see what they offer. Wished the production was going on as you could watch the doughnut making process. First time here and the lineup is crazy. Minimum waiting time is at least 20 minutes in the afternoon. The place is only open for take home. I've had plenty of fundraiser Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and they're good but you don't know the true tastiness of a Krispy Kreme Donut until you've had it fresh from the source! I was lucky enough to visit Krispy Kreme when their "Hot Now" sign was up, a little beacon of light leading you towards the guilty pleasures of a warm, pillowy soft Krispy Kreme Donut. Even before you step into the shop, you can smell the sweet aroma but what surprised me the most was being able to see the entire donut making magic happening right before your eyes! The shop has a huge window where you can see the dough rise up, plop into the fryer, get flipped and then make their way under a waterfall of sugary sweet glaze. The staff was really friendly as we hummed and hawed about what we should get, 1/2 dozen of Original Glazed ($5.95) it was and she picked it fresh off the conveyor belt. The Original Glazed KK donut was warm and so soft that it started to droop as I held it. The donut was so pillowy soft it seemed to disappear between my teeth within two chews! As a warm donut, it didn't have that overpowering sweetness, still sweet but the warmly fresh fried dough seemed to add a more savoury taste to compliment the sweetness. There are lots of other KK donuts to choose from, seasonal ones to pretty sprinkled ones to donuts filled with sweet gooey insides. And if you need something to sip on while you eat your donut, they have drinks as well - coffee and hot chocolate. Plenty of retro booth and table seating available to enjoy your tasty treats and free parking too! They have a drive-thru as well if you're feeling the laze like Homer. Overall, the first-time experience of seeing a donut be made right before your eyes and then being eaten fresh off the conveyor belt is worth it. read more

The mecca of retail donut shops. Fresh donuts made with glazed coffee is absolutely sublime. The interior makes you feel like you are in a 60s diner. Of the flavours I've tried (-/10): Original Glazed (8-8.5) - The OG staple whose sweet dough just melts in your mouth Oreo Kreme (6.5) - Can't go wrong with this pick as it emulates the cream, but not so much the cookie. Sour Cream (6) - The one time Tim Hortons is actually better. Still a solid taste but lacks that texture which Timmy's provides. Apple fritter (7.5) - Pleasantly surprised by how good this one was as you can see and taste the apple which TH lacks. Chocolate cake (7) - Like chocolate glazed TH but bigger and better. Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles (6) - The icing just tasted like raw sugar and nothing really resembling strawberry. Caramel Crunch (9) (Microwaved) - Ate this the next day and decided to microwave it for the fun of it, and it was one of the best donuts I've tried in my life. read more

This is the last surviving Krispy Kreme shop in the lower mainland. The layout is the same as other stores down south, that I had to sift through my memories if I had been here before. It looked identical. I was lucky to be there when they were making the donuts, so I had my original glazed warm. That gave it a 4-stars instead of 3. Warm donut made a world of difference. Somehow it was not overly sweet and I did not see the thick glaze of sugar underneath. It was also pillowy soft which meant the donut disappeared pretty quickly. There is also a drive thru at this outlet. As it is way out in Delta, I doubt I will pop by very often just for a donut fix. In any case, you will see people selling boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts at various skytrain stations as fundraising for charities. read more

There's something about Krispy Kreme Doughnuts that is so addicting. I'm not sure if it's the flavour or the warm, melt-in-your-mouth texture, but everything about KK Doughnuts are delicious. I could eat a whole dozen just to myself - no shame in that. This spot is the only location in BC. Fortunately it's about a 30 minute drive from my house, otherwise I'd be here all the time. When I do decide to make the drive out here though, original glazed is my #1 choice. There's something about watching it being made to order in the show room and then seeing them box it up that makes them taste that more fresh. Like I said, I don't know what it is. Came here to try the limited time Oreo special donuts. The store was super busy with a lineup wrapped outside the building! I appreciated that the store was clean and the staff were friendly despite it being a busy morning. The original glazed were perfect melt-in-your-mouth bites, but both Oreo donuts I tried were hard passes. One of them barely had any filling and the other had an impossible to bite into Oreo cookie on top. April 25, 2020 covid line up experience: We arrived at the drive through line only to notice the line backed up around the parking lot spilling into the neighbouring parking lot. We made the conscious decision that we would see this through to order. We were in the area from Vancovuer and we would not know when we would be back. Fast forward 1.5 hours later, we made it to the beloved order menu and mic. Excited and also forward thinking about what I'd write here, I fumbled with my phone and snapped a picture of the order menu. We ordered: 1- Dozen Classic. Can't say anything wrong about these and only good memories of devouring 3 in 3 minutes. My wife and I remembered we had some family members at home so we definitely needed to save some but it was difficult. Ordering from the store, and eating them right away is by far the best way to experience the classic fresh and airiness of the classic KK doughnut. 2-Dozen assorted. 2 chocolate cake doughnuts. These were not that great as the cake felt a bit stale. I'm comparing these to my favourite cake donuts at TH which are always tasty and the texture is perfectly cake like with just enough glazing. The KK chocolate cake doughnut was not fresh and there was not enough glazing. 2 cream filled. These cream filled with surprising good and the cream was the right amount. Definitely better than the TH equivalent. 2 strawberry filled. My wife's personal favourite and she said the strawberry filling was enough the right sweetness. The texture was good as well. 2 caramel cream crunch. These are insanely sweet with the caramel filling inside. I have a sweet tooth and these ones in particular were almost too sweet. The outside had caramel crumbs and added a nice crunch texture. I would only recommend these to anyone who can withstand serious sugary sweetness overload. 2 Oreo cookie. A nice combination of cookie crumble on the outside with a Oreo cream filling. Not too sweet and the texture was good. 2 custard filled doughnuts. Very similar to the cream filled I think. Not that memorable when ordered alongside the cream filled I think. All in all, this was a great dine in car experience with my gluttonous partner in crime my wife. Time to go home and get the kids to ride their bikes around the block 6 times so we can sweat off these calories. read more

The nice sign is a chalk candy, and it's pretty hard so I recommend taking it off the donut and eating it after or in between bites. The chalk candy makes it super sweet. * Berry powdered ~ can you ever go wrong with such a delicious powdered donut? Nope! The filling was perfect and delicious! * Original glazed ~ CLASSIC MUST HAVE! Best thing ever I can easily eat so many of these! * We also got mocha and double chocolate. * 8/10 ~ I wish the gingerbread had more gingerbread taste, and that the present was topped with something else rather than a overly sweet chalk candy. But the original and powder was so worth it. * 9/10 ~ the weren't expensive. I don't recall exact pricing but I believe our bill for 24 donuts were less then $20. This place is dangerous! The Hot Glazed doughnuts are addicting! There really isn't a substitute for this gems. I've tried other doughnut houses and they just can't get the same amazing sugar overload/coma this place will put you into. The other flavored doughnuts are good and will get your foggy in the mind.
