Been a bunch and few times they were out of items I wanted , but they had few others I was open to getting so just always said next time for the donuts I wanted. This time much more disappointing. Seen a few ads for a new donuts and so drove 45 min to get some. Hit my salon up to get my eyebrows so it didn't seem crazy I drove 45 min one way for donuts. Get to the drive thru and am told they are all out . I ask when another batch would be made. I just was told a couple times they were out and didn't know when they would make another batch because these could cause a issue with people with allergies so there not gonna be made again until later, but could not tell me when . If you advertise then can't make enough or even know what's going on with your food I'm not worried about coming back. This location for treats is out of my way and after this incident I will not be returning again. read more

Not all the staff is friendly but a few are , I've gotten free donuts from here plenty of times for them making me wait .

They rarely have certain doughnuts. It seems like all they really make is glazed. Today i went there and to my surprise they finally had cake batter but was disappointed after biting into it and it had barely any filling. Great location, fast service. Today is like a krispy kreme birthday so if you buy 1 dozen donuts you got 1 dozen original glazed donut for $1. I got 1 dozen for myself but didn't really want the extra dozen. Regardless it was fast and can satisfied my sugar craving!!! read more

Go when the hot light is on and only order the original glazed donut. Service is always kind and the donuts are good.

We were at a nearby business on Sunday afternoon 9/23 when we noticed the red neon sign was on so of course we had to go over and pick up a few fresh donuts. There was a woman in front of us in line who had to have had something wrong with her mentally because it took her 15 minutes to pick out three donuts. She kept picking donuts then having the clerk put them back. I am giving this four star review mostly to the poor kid who was working behind the counter. Not once did that young man lose his temper or become impatient with this nut. Kudos to you, young in' - you'll go far in life! Sign said "HOT", but the plain glazed were COLD and stiff--on a Sunday morning no less! The filled were OK. The "assembly line" was not running, which should have been a clue, but we were so glad to be at KK again that we didn't pay attention.... Staff should be better trained! read more

I went into tonight just expecting to get in and get out and go back home. I was pleasantly surprised by the woman behind the counter, Bonnie. She was so detailed as to making sure that I ordered the exact donut and VERY courteous. She works on Tuesdays, by the way. I certainly will be back at some point and since it was my first visit to this one, I hope my experiences in the future are similar. read more

I will never go here again. I usually get my coffee at Dunkin Donuts but decided to try Krispy Kreme. The people who work here were walking around like they had no clue what to do and really don't seem to want to be there. It took forever to get our coffee made and had to come back to ask about our order a couple of times before they finished it and the coffees were really nothing to rave about. I may try another location in the future but will never come back here. read more

Aw, come on Krispy Kreme. Your donuts are one of my guilty pleasures but the service in this location was terrible. It doesn't have to be white glove service, it just has to be actually acknowledging that the customer is there and might want to order something. Unfortunately, as much as I love Krispy Kreme, I cannot recommend this particular location. The filled donuts, especially the new ones with holes, have absolutely no filling. I am not sure how that happens but it frequently does here. In addition, the donuts are frequently stale. If I can buy Krispy Kremes at the grocery that are not stale, you would think the ones at the shop would be fresh. Honestly, I am not talking made this morning state but days old stale. Also Hot Nows are NEVER actually hot or even warm. I think they forget to turn off the sign because I often see them do so as I drive off with my cold "Hot Nows." read more

I get that this place just opened, but it shouldn't take 10 minutes for staff to fill an order for two donuts. We visited on a Saturday. There was a big backup as many waited for orders of one or two dozen donuts. Turns out staff were way behind on producing the original glazed donuts (their signature product). As all this was going on, there was a glass display with dozens of donuts inside. I ordered thinking they could just pluck two out of that case. Instead, it appeared they were all just there for show. What a waste! KK has been around for a long time, yet it seems the company still doesn't know how to train staff to operate restaurants effectively. Typical Krispy Kreme doughnut quality, not typical Krispy Kreme service. I have been there several times, and they only have one register open at 730am. Not a good place for a stop on your way to work because it will take 15 minutes to place your order and get your donuts. read more

Tell me how it is possible that a Krispy Kreme store is out of Glazed Donuts at 7:20 am on a Friday morning. That happened to me this morning when I went to pick up a couple dozen donuts for the office. There were no donuts being made and they told me they did not have any glazed donuts. This store is one of the worst as far as customer services. I have waited in line for as much as 15 minutes to be served. And sometimes it takes 10 minutes or longer before they acknowledge you at the drive through ordering kiosk. I wish we had a Dunkin Donuts on our side of town. Perhaps when this KK closed due to lack of business, Dunkin will open one. The store is in Charlottesville, Virginia. read more

Went furniture shopping with my wife on a Sunday. after a couple of hours in the furniture store, I seen the new krispy kreme doughnuts in the shopping center, ordered 6 glazed and 2 coffees. after repeating my order 3 times, the window teller still got the coffee order wrong, and opened the box to find 6 cold hard doughnuts, exactly like I could buy at the grocery store. Went inside to see the mgr, and he was the one working the window getting the orders wrong. he then stated they don't make doughnuts after 10 A.M. why would anyone go to a doughnut shop to get hard cold doughnuts. Light was on, but donuts were COLD and old. What is going on? If you cant get the donuts correct when you've just opened and are supppsed to be putting your best foot forward, will you ever? I was raised in Tennessee and we love our Krispy Kreme. This is not a review about the doughnuts because they are always wonderful. This is a review about the Charlottesville location. The staff moves slowly. There's only ever one register open. The staff doesn't speak up, so it's difficult to hear a word they say. The doughnuts are sloppy looking and not up to the standards we Krispy Kreme fanatics know and love. There are options on display are not always available to purchase. I won't stop going, but it would be nice to see some changes made at this location. read more

Hot mess, literally waited 40 mins for a half dozen doughnuts, didn't even got the ones I ordered either. Hire better management.

The hot and fresh sign was on, but our donuts were ice cold! They tasted like they were fried in 3 day old oil, and were so disgusting we threw them away after taking one bite. The service was fine, we went through the drive through so it was fairly quick, but I definitely won't be coming back. The donuts were worse than the kind you can buy in the grocery store, and left a sour aftertaste behind. Beware! read more

This is a great place to get donuts don't get me wrong. But, the workers here are extraordinarily slow and don't seem to prioritize your order. EVERY time I have eaten hot donuts it has taken a minimum of 3 minutes extra time unlike ANY other Krispy Kreme I have ever been to. But at least the donuts taste good. read more

My main complaint is the employees, their lack of training and lack of basic communication skills. One person takes the order. That person speaks so softly you can't hear him. You have to repeat and repeat. Does not know how to use the register. I asked him 4 times to please get me the glazed off the belt. He says "yes" and then, lo and behold, he is not the one to fill the orders, and he does not pass on that request. Some other person fills the order, kind of like at a fast food joint. So then I have to deal with that person. I love a really fresh, warm donut, very hard to come by anywhere nowadays, and since I make the 35 minute trip out there, I'd really like to get that perfectly fresh, warm donut. Not much to ask. KK is still the best donut around, far better than Dunkin' which is really stingy on the fillings, but I wish I had a good option for a place to get them. This is not the place. read more
