I've seen this brand in various cities but have never been to one. When I arrived, the eastbound right lane of 28th Street was backed up at least a couple of blocks with stopped cars waiting their turn to enter the drive thru. I'm not a drive thru person so I luckily found a parking space and saw a few empty tables inside. I ordered the usual chicken tenders and instead of fries, I tried dirty rice as a side item. The chicken was very lightly battered and very, very tasty. There are a variety of sauces you can order. I stuck with the basic honey mustard. It was good as well. Next time, the peach honey pepper will be my choice. As excellent as the chicken was, I was blown away by the biscuit that comes with the tenders. Light and fluffy, I'll take this over a bun or Texas toast any day. I wasn't real impressed by the dirty rice so will likely go with fries next time. You can order directly at the counter or use one of the terminals to the right of the counter. Even though there was some available seating, the restaurant was packed with people picking up carry out orders. It was definitely a well controlled chaos. My order was ready less than five minutes after ordering. As far as I know, Bojangles has been open less than a week. It looks like they hired and trained a good staff. I'm a sucker for breakfast chicken biscuits. I'm sure I will have one here quite soon! The flavors of everything was what I am familiar with and love. I feel like the spring rolls could've used more shrimp in the roll and the sauce was a bit spicy but still good. Since the spring rolls were already prepped in the grab and go section, I was able to eat those while the rest of my order was being prepared. The eggrolls and banh mi were just what I needed to fulfill my Viet food cravings. Price wise, I was not expecting to spend $24 for my meal. I am surprised that the spring rolls ($8.50) cost more than the banh mi ($10). I did order a lot though so I can't complain. B&N is definitely a good option to get some Vietnamese food around the area. I love that they also have a lot of authentic items that you can grab and go. If you need a receipt, be sure to ask at the counter, as the machine didn't print me one. It only took a few minutes to get our order and we got to watch the employee assemble our tasty sandwiches. I got the bánh mì Đặc biệt (special combination) and Nate ordered the bánh mì thịt nướng (BBQ pork). The bánh mì are still my favorite in town, with perfectly crispy yet soft bread, fresh veggies and herbs, and delicious meat. The BBQ pork was my favorite this time, even though I always order the special combination. The summer rolls were refreshing and we love the dipping sauce.
