I'm sorry we slept on this location based on horrible experiences at the drive through location…read morenear Victoria Gardens. This location is a night and day difference! The fish tacos were great - hot, crispy, and huge! The drive through location for some reason seems to have fish pieces half the size, always messes up modifications for toppings, and never gives chilis without having to specifically ask. We decided to give the location near vineyard a shot bases on much higher Yelp reviews and being done with Rubio's from too many bad experiences. You would think this is a totally different company based on the service and quality. They should just close down the other store and stop wasting everyone's time! Even though we are farther away from this location, the tacos traveled better taking it to go than they do when the drive through location is about a mile from my house. I don't know why it's been getting harder to find good fish tacos. Like I said Rubio's is dead to us, La Bufadora has gone so far downhill it's not worth the drive out to South Ontario, and the drive through Senor Bajas seemed like a last resort as the best of the worst. No longer! I'm so sorry we slept on this spot, but this is now our go-to for local fish tacos!

Mind you, they want $11.29 just for 2 mahi mahi tacos. Then, if you want a side of canned beans, some rice, and a super small drink, it's an extra $5.99. You're looking at $17 to $20 for two skimpy tacos, two mediocre canned sides, and a single, solitary delicious pepper that's salted and peppered. No thank you. We will not be returning.

The prices were comparable to other similar places but this place also offers all you can eat (except holidays) but we did not do this as we did not have the appetite. Plenty of parking and close to Ontario Mills. Staff were very friendly. Restaurant could use a facelift in some areas like the restroom but overall relatively clean. We ordered 2lbs medium spice house seasoned whole shrimp with corn and an egg, cucumber salad, and Cajun fries. The cucumber salad has a soy/vinegar sauce. We ordered it mainly to cut the butter/salt from the other stuff, it was decent, there was a little bitterness from the cucumber. The shrimps were nice and plump, only 1-2 were overdone at the bottom of the bag. The flavor was tasty, though I would have liked chunks of garlic in the bag to enhance more flavor. The basil was different than most places we've frequented, a welcomed surprise. Although we ordered medium spice, I think it was more on the mild side. The Cajun fries had a nice bite to them, but were simply fries with seasoned salt/Cajun seasoning on top...I've had better but they went well with the shrimps. Corn was sweet and egg was fine.

Sam did a great job taking care of us throughout our entire meal. He regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, including refills, extra lemons, and pepper. The service was excellent from start to finish! My wife and I ordered 2lbs. of shrimp at $17/lb, with add-ons including corn at $1.95 each, potatoes at $2.95, and 1/2 sausage for $8.95. We also had a soda for $4.50 with free refills. Our total came out to $59.05, including tax. We chose the house mix with the spicy flavor, and it was delicious! The shrimp was flavorful, and we were completely satisfied with the both the food and the service. We're definitely adding this place to our list of go-to spots and will be back again!

Our usual order is 1lb of shrimp and 1lb of mussels, and we've always been happy with it. This time, we decided to try the Combo #2 because we wanted to add crab legs. We ordered three combo bags, each with shrimp, mussels, and crab legs. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like there was anywhere close to 1lb each of shrimp and mussels in the bags. I can't prove it, so I can only share our experience, but it honestly felt like there were fewer than 15 shrimp in the bag. For the first time ever, we finished our meal and were still hungry afterward. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend ordering the combo bag. Not only did it seem like there was significantly less food, but with all the ingredients piled together, some items ended up overcooked. We were really disappointed because we've had consistently good experiences with multiple locations here over the years. Hopefully this was just an off day, but we'll be sticking with ordering the seafood separately next time.

The sharpie graffiti all over the walls seemed cute at first but all of that visual clutter conditioned me into thinking that the place was dirty. No offense meant to management but my son started smelling phantom smells usually associated with graffiti'd areas in DTLA. You can't underestimate the power of suggestion. Prices are comparable to Kicking Crab and Boiling Crab with a few differences. This place doesn't offer crawfish. Neither do they offer noodles as an alternative to rice. Nor do they offer broccoli or any type of vegetable. Service is friendly but with only two servers, there is a noticeable wait. But their wonderful can-do attitude offset it. When we got our crab and lobster, it was unfortunately dry. Not sure how long they cook the seafood for, but in my experience, if you let the crab or lobster steam or boil too long, the flesh tends to stick to the shells. It wasn't easy to get the meat out. We had to scrape the meat off the exoskeletons. The lobster tail was halved prior to cooking, so this step may have contributed to the dry meat. Typically you should only split it once it's been cooked. The sauce barely adhered to the seafood, so you have to dip the seafood into the crab boil sauce to get some flavor on it. The hush puppies for happy hour are a deal at $6 but there was practically no potato in it. You get breaded, fried flour. Wasn't very happy with this. The calamari was great - minimally breaded, seasoned well, and the flesh was juicy. Loved the marinara sauce that came with it. It's also on the happy hour menu, and for $6, it was a good portion. Hopefully management can make the necessary corrections to improve the customer's experience. The fixes shouldn't be problematic because they're simple enough. Adjusting the cooking time should do a lot to improve the juiciness of the seafood, and I'm certain patrons will notice the effort.

We partook of the $1 oysters and got deliciousness in a shell as well as excellent, above-and-beyond service. It's one of Upland's finest restaurants and yet it won't break the bank. Love this place!

I don't remember which day of the week it was, but they were super busy. Almost every table was taken. I got lucky with one small table open just for me. Sometimes it's nice to dine solo because less space is required. Rebeca was my server. She was superb with her friendliness and service from beginning to end. She returned to my table to check on me regularly... very attentive. Thanks Rebeca! Menu had more than just Ceviche. Expect to also see House Tostadas, Botanas, Cocteles, Molcajetes, Baja Classics, Oysters, Caldos, Tacos, Appetizers, and Drinks. That's quite a variety! I wanted to try everything, but I only had room for a few items. Got the Baja Taco Combo with 2 tacos and salad (fries was the other option). I was able to get one taco with shrimp and one taco with fish. Shrimp was hands down better than fish. The sweetness of the shrimp shines through more. Cabbages were fresh and crisp. Taco dressing was tasty, but could have been less. Salad was refreshing. Love the homemade ranch dressing... very light and smooth! Also got one Camaron Cocido (ceviche with cooked shrimp) and one Revolucion (mix of crab, shrimp, octopus, and abalone). Portions of seafood was adequate. OMG, both were so delicious! I mixed the two together. They worked very well. YUM! I had to get one agua fresca to rinse everything down. I started out with Jamaica, but it was watered down so I asked to have it changed to Cucumber Lime. It was better, but its flavor was not prominent for my taste bud. Let's just say, I've had better agua frescas from other restaurants. All in all, I had a wonderful dining experience. I enjoyed the food very much. I highly recommend this place as a must-visit for anyone who loves seafood. As a seafood lover, I'll for sure be back for more deliciousness!

05/24/26 Sunday…read more Stars: 4.5/5 Our friends booked this venue for their wedding reception. Sea Queen has a restaurant side and a banquet hall side. We had the banquet hall side and it was able to accommodate 200 guests. They had the place set up early and allowed the wedding party to come in advance to drop off drinks, decor, etc. They allowed us to bring food and alcohol. They also prepaid for drinks from the bar so folks could order from a bartender. Only a few dishes were ordered (since there was other food from an outside catering vendor) and I only got to try it after it was cold so I can't give a wholistic review on the food they serve, but I really liked the leaf wrapped beef with Banh Hoi (vermicelli sheet) and the mango salad! My one complaint is the women's bathroom. Two (out of 3) of the stalls can't lock so the girls had to help each other hold the doors closed. However, it was mostly clean and had toilet paper in stock. +They offer takeout containers for leftovers from the party. +Very kind and accommodating staff. They cleared some tables to create more space on the dance floor. +Parking is plentiful.

FANTASTIC PLACE FOR FOOD AND A PARTY!…read more I had the privilege of being invited to a party with some friends who had booked their event with Sea Queen Restaurant and I cannot deny that I was only impressed with the food, decor, staff, and the entire experience. If you are interested in booking your own event here, I recommend it. If you have no events coming up and just want some amazing food, still come here for that too! Amazing dishes are cooked and served here. It is mostly Vietnamese cuisine that you would find here, but hey... who doesn't enjoy this kind of cuisine? There is so much this restaurant has to offer. Not to mention there are weekly events; even a karaoke night. Lastly, if you enjoy sea snails, escargot, and don't want to drive out of the IE to the OC for some... just come here!
