I have seen 5 other spine doctors and they had issues, you had to pull your info out of them and some would say YOU DON"T NEW TO KNOW, I'M THE DOCTOR. Not so with Doctor Viere, however you should be prepared with questions as he is busy guy. He's great after a surgery too. I been to a number of different doctors and interface with a bunch of different offices his folks or very good. Remember the office staff they are busy folks. The all or professional. He basically told me I had to live with my knee pain forever. He suggested a few rounds of therapy and had a mocking expression on his face the entire time. The staff was wonderful but he was rude and cold. He didn't even say goodbye when he left the exam room. Terrible experience.

TOA has been the super glue that keeps us all functioning! (Or until the next body part we try to rip off.) In this building are the offices on 3rd floor, the MRI center on the 3rd floor and the surgery center on the ground floor. This location is tied into the other locations in the region. That is a huge plus as it means once you are set up, everything is view-able from location to location, Doctor to Doctor, Doctor to Physical Therapist. They use smart tablets to enter your information and payment plus use online check-in. This location also has close parking! That is very important when you are limping in pain to see a doctor. It's also helpful when you just finished surgery and you want to get home NOW before the pain killers wear off. The staff at this location are fantastic! Very easy to work with, friendly, caring and absolutely want to help you heal! They are knowledgeable in working with insurance which can be challenge these days. If you break or tear a body part in this region, TOA is where you want to go!

I was out of town for most of the month of March but we were going to schedule surgery for early April and they wanted me to get blood work done upon my return. I received a garbled message from physician's assistant so I called back to check on status of surgery and next steps but my call went voice more than 4 times without a return call. I did receive a call back once while I was going through customs and could not pick up. But again voicemail message not clear. I then found out from my insurance company that the surgery was denied because the insurance company wanted me to try physical therapy first, which I will do. But again no direction from this office to move forward with PT. I am deeply concerned about the lack of communication from this office. If they did not want to take on my case, they could've had the courtesy to reach me again as I left several messages with them. I should not assume that they do not want to treat me. I know doctors' offices get busy, but lack of communication is no excuse. I chose this clinic because I tore my ACL over 25 years ago in a skiing tumble, and the surgeon I saw at this clinic encouraged me to exercise it and build my up my knee strength, which I did. He said I was coping well without the ACL and I had no instability. He advised me not to have surgery, but recommended to ski with a knee brace, which I have been doing since then. However, this torn meniscus is a bear and impacts any movement with pivoting. Not sure I will be able to ski again. I hope the lack of communication from this clinic is not happening with other potential patients and I am saddened that we could not move forward.

He doesn't double and triple book and he spends as much time with you as is needed. That means that sometimes you have to wait to see him. However, if you have to come in frequently for checks (such as BP), he can advise you on when you can come to not have to wait so long as well as tell his staff you can have that time slot. He used to be just a short trip from my place of work. Now that I have changed jobs and I no longer work there, I have to drive a minimum of 1 hour each way to see him and I do it without complaint because he is such a good doctor.
