Goner chicken

This has been one of my favorite restaurants in the oxford area since I was a collegiate. It was a big comfort food for me during finals, and now it just brings back warm memories. The menus seems to have expanded! This is a great place to bring friends and family and a bonding experience. As you can split the dishes/appetizers; you get SO MUCH food! It's a beautiful cultural experience with the music playing, and beautiful artwork in the vicinity.

Lamb Biryani

Worst Indian food I've ever had. I ordered the lamb biryani, it was basically white rice mixed with a sauce that was obviously made separately and then mixed in and the spices tasted nothing like a lamb biryani. It was more like they mixed white rice with a bad tikka masala and added some tough lamb and vegetables.

Simply the best Indian in Oxford. They have only been open for a few months now and it seems they are getting more fans by the day. The food is so delicious. They have one main chef that cooks everything, he is very kind and loves to get compliments. One big reason that I go here are the prices. During the week they have a fantastic lunch special. If you havent been there, go, you won't regret it.

Not great malai kofta
Alice K.

Disappointing. First time as we just moved here and I was pleased to see a good veg menu. I ordered Malai Kofta - one of my favorites - for lunch $13! - and the kofta balls were clearly microwaved and part was hard and the other part tasted like freezer burn. It came with a huge portion of spicy but not tasty Malai sauce. Too bad. My biggest suggestion would be to make a lunch menu! Smaller portions with rice, a few pieces of nana, a little salad and drink and a small halva dessert for $10. Then the kofta could be fresh cause there would be a lot of business!

Great food and service! My boyfriend from India and I love this place. We never turn it down when the other suggests it for dinner.

I love this little stand! This man makeses some homey indian food…read more I have had the jerk chicken, the masala and the vindaloo... all were flavorful and super yummy Portions are great! The naan is ok, nothing too crazy. The stand does offer a dish I have never had anywhere before... see my pictures! The spinach and cheese is not as good as the chicken one! Highly recommend it!

Ok, but I think I might have to go back and order differently, because I didn't leave feeling…read morenearly as WOWED as everyone else here seemed to be. After AGES of planning to try this place, I finally convinced the Mr. that we should give it a try on a sunny Saturday late afternoon/early evening. We placed our orders (several items not available, but that's understandable; it's a HUGE menu for a food truck!!) and waited about 20-30 minutes in the shared outdoor dining area adjacent to Corner Cone. Our meals were both "fine," but about 80-90% rice. The side orders of na'an and two samosas were a good break from the rice. Not bad, not great-- I've had Indian food before, but since was the (finicky) Mr's first try, he "could take it or leave it..." Good enough, not too pricey, but not nearly "the best Indian food I've ever had!!!" Still in search of the winner of that title here in Ohiooooooooooo!!
