Convienent and the only game in town. Watch the expiration dates on everything. A lot of shelf items expired by weeks.

On the day we moved to Harrisville a water pipe burst in our house. In turned out we lost our power and had no kitchen. The only restaurant open in town was Subway. We got our order completed and the credit card machine didn't work. My 7 year old started balling and the lady working said, "Go home and eat and come back later and pay for it." Two days later I went for my morning cup of coffee and forgot my wallet. A man from Harris Construction (sign on his truck) paid for my coffee. Tonight, I stopped in on the way home and got hot chocolate. When I got to the counter, Adam the clerk said, "no charge". I looked puzzled. Apparently someone earlier paid for the next 10 people to get any drink from the coffee bar. Either everyone that works at BP is overly friendly, we have really good luck, or the people of Harrisville must be the nicest people on Earth. We think it's all of the above. We are grateful for the kindness BP and the people of Harrisville have shown us! We love it here!

They have groceries inside, camping supplies and a Subway is attached too. I came here a few mornings ago to get a cup of coffee while staying at Harrisville State Park. And I've got to tell you they had this Michigan cherry coffee that was quite possibly some of the best coffee I've ever had. With just a touch of Splenda and real half and half it was absolutely perfect. I went back the next morning and had it again. The coffee was fresh and hot! Not only is this store large and filled with everything you could quite possibly need but they also sell beer, wine AND liquor. I'm not just talking the cheap, generic, small bottles either. They have 3 areas of liquor from bottom shelf single shots to premium fifths and everything in between. They even had my drink of choice Tito's, and all at state minimum. They sell unisex flip flops and women's sun dresses and even have some souvenirs for kids. They sell 7lb bags of ice and have wood for a decent price of 3 bundles for $12. The gas prices were in line with everywhere I saw, so no jacked up prices here. In fact, everything I save in the store was a good price. No hiked up prices on anything. I've been here 4 times while staying at the state park and every employee was welcoming and friendly. The restrooms are clean, yes I used it. And the popcorn they sell by the register is worth getting a bag of. It taste just like movie theater popcorn and it popped fresh several times a day. On 2 visits to get slushies- which are really really good, our drinks were purchased for us! Apparently a local had bought 30 slushies for the employees to give out to customers and we were lucky enough to be one of the recipients! How cool is that!! If the person who did that reads this please know we are very appreciative! Truly a act of kindness and generosity! Highly recommend this place. I'll be back a few more times before we leave this campground.

This location recently changed from a Citgo brand station with a drive thru Taco Bell, to. Mobil…read morebrand station. As of this writing, the renovations are not complete, but, they are doing a first class job in their repairs and renovations. The fuel pumps in front are new and modern. A couple diesel fuel islands to the north side of the building allow for pull thru with RVs and big rigs. The inside is well done. The (men's) restroom was renovated, nice job. I'm not sure about the women's side, but I suspect it is similar in quality. Maybe next time I visit, I'll have a Bruce Jenner change-over day and use the ladies restroom to complete my report. The convenience store has a good fit-and-finish look to it. Their coffee was brewing nicely, and the soda fountain was ready for an onslaught of customers. Otherwise, everything looked great inside the store. The side of the building where the Taco Bell had been is still undergoing 'builder's surgery'. Once the construction is complete, I'm sure it will be be a top-notch job. Back outside, the front and north and south sides have had all new blacktop installed. The back of the building still has the abandoned look, but I am sure that area will not be overlooked. For the big rigs: limited parking is available for transient truckers. Like for 3 or 4 trucks maximum in a dirt lot. Perhaps that will change in the early part of 2019 when they wrap up the construction and their job is complete. For now, where they have done the make-over, it looks great. I recommend.
