The folks there recognize you after your first visit and go out of their way to provide you with service. Now about the pizza.....they have by far the best pizza in Alpena County!. Generous with toppings, lots of cheese and excellent crusts. Ingredients are fresh and plentiful. I know it's a distance, but well worth the drive!

Sauce was delicious and it was baked well but I didn't care for the crust. I tried to order a couple week ago and they stopped orders for the night. The person on the phone was kinda rude about it. When I ordered last week I found that person was not very friendly either. That's a real turn off for me. Also, I found both times they don't pick up their phone so it took me a few tries each time to get through which was frustrating. An online menu would be helpful too rather than Facebook.

I took my mom to refill some prescriptions and get a new prescription. When I picked up the prescriptions, my mom didn't check them until we pulled away, but once she did she realized the new prescription was missing, and an expensive refill had been added to the order. The doctors office had forgotten to send the new prescription over, so we had to go back through the drive through to get it. We were thinking because we hadn't checked it before pulling away, they would never take the refill back, but we were wrong. Not only did they offer to fix the situation without our asking, they noticed that we had just been there and were so helpful. The refill would have been very expensive and she wasn't ready for it, or the hefty sum of money it would cost. The fact that this was noticed and fixed was so appreciated, it brought me to tears. They are the most professional, lovely, and kind human beings, and knowing that they are looking out for my mom's health gives me some peace of mind. I love this Walgreens!

They need to fire that employee, for sure. I WAS a daily customer there, but they have 2 female employees, one who just cut her hair short, who are rude. I might go in again here shortly just to get their names. It is a shame, until recently they have had courteous employees, not now! I also had a bad encounter at the Shell on Chiholm St. in Alpena Mi about a month ago. The Shell stations used to be my favorites, but those 2 have gone downhill. A customer should never be talked down to or disrespected, their Employees need to be taught this? Maybe it is a management issue?
