Things started bad from the beginning. I'll make it brief but believe me when I tell you this bunch was a lot of headaches. Knowing my motor that I had paid him for was being delivered was a no show at 10:30 am on the day of delivery! I stood in the parking lot and watched my new motor be hauled off for redelivery because, although I had paid, the mechanic had not and driver could not leave the engine without the business owner being there to pay for it! 10:30am folks! Long story short, not very dependable to be at work, had to constantly go by just to make sure of work being done on mine to find others being shuffled in front of mine multiple times, asking for money before job is done, tells you he will take care of something and make it right but only talk, vehicle had multiple cosmetic issues that were non existent before turning it over to him, and all in all just very unprofessional. Do not recommend. My vehicle still isn't right and it's things he worked on and said he would make right. Headache from the get go. By the way, 2 months after motor was delivered before I got the vehicle back. This for a 12 to 24 hour job. Yes, it was a good price for labor but so what if you have to have someone go behind and clean up the mess?!?!

Back in November, 2025 we brought our car in for a cata converter replacement, we had the converter ordered in advance and during the times we had the quote generated which was $1,500+ we were given verbal promises that the car would be done same day. First day? It was not completed the same day as promised. They then said they would have the car fixed by lunch time at the latest TOMORROW, tomorrow lunch comes around? Still not done. 3rd day we got law enforcement involved to get a proper update/record as we did not have a spare vehicle to get back and forth to work and were getting fed up with the excuses, this is when Mr Gibson himself showed his ugly side and began his verbal assault towards us mocking us in front of his entire team and had embarrassingly brought us to the wrong vehicle in the bay that wasn't even ours while screaming at us. It took 3 full days and a little extra time as they stayed after close to get the vehicle done before we could finally leave their shop. They had 1 single mechanic working on the vehicle for the first 2 days and only on the 3rd day realized they needed to put more hands on the job. We were suppose to have another service order for an oil housing unit repair on our vehicle but we will not be coming back as its clear Mr Gibson and his crew are just not the right fit for us after speaking to them again today. Overall horrible experience, rude, snotty attitude from the front office ladies, and even ruder unruly behavior from the guys behind the ladies.

Was told the vehicle had been poured full of stop leak. The head gasket hadn't been changed; was also told by B & R the air condition was bad and needed a A/C kit. Upon inspection by another garage the A/C hadn't been changed, when confronting B & R about this they blamed an employee and said he told them he had done the work. I asked for receipts for the parts. They never produced any receipts other than saying there here somewhere. Finally, they offered a partial refund. I asked for full because they had bought no parts and only poured the vehicle full of stop leak. Had no receipts for any parts. I have filed a suit in civil court. Way better…read morethan Larry's in Abingdon that almost got me killed years ago by laying my exhaust right on my rubber brake line causing my brakes to go out! If you install any aftermarket exhaust part and have problems,Rusty will also fix that,as he did for me on a mustang once before! I was expecting double what he charged.
