Aburi combo , edamame!
Christine A.

I ordered the Aburi combo with some edamame. Absolutely loved the combo . My only issue is the combo says assorted sushi but it was just Tuna and salmon . It was amazing though!!!! And loved that they wrapped the edamame in Tinfoil it kept it Hot !

For the price point, this restaurant is well worth it. Especially when you compare it to those other sushi a la cart places around downtown and Etobicoke. The quality you receive is impressive, nice little surprise when they came out with the purple rice instead of traditional sushi rice which I liked a lot. I found this place by accident when I first moved into the area, and I was thinking that it was one of those small sushi shops that were a hit or miss but I was definitely surprised when I found out it was a total hit! It is a nice, small and cozy restaurant with nice decor, cool lighting behind decorative pieces and definitely has an artistic presentation as you can see in my pictures. I have ate here multiple times, both dine in and take out and I have never been let down, always ordering sashimi and always receiving fresh fish. I love it.

While its a bit on the pricey side, the sushi here is amazing! Very fresh fish and the blue rice is a great treat. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent food for a reasonable price! I've been here twice and really enjoy the tempura. Light and crispy, the marks of clean oil and good batter. The restaurant is small, but very clean. It's really close (steps away, really) to the gorgeous Humber Bay Park, so I recommend this place for outings with friends and family. There is free parking along that stretch of Marine Parade-Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm I think. There's free parking on weekends too, but I don't remember the times.

Finally a decent sushi and Korean restaurant in the. Neighbourhood! Staff is friendly. The Aburi sushi rolls are better at miKu but everything else is more than acceptable and reasonably priced.

Ok so tried in dining today and flavours.werr.good.and service was fast. Prices are.avg and there are some strange crunchy rolls that have potato chips thrown on top. Maybe they should use seaweed potato chips to keep it to the theme!?!? Wish the AC was on and that the e,haunt was better because we got a little smokey and warm so we had to take half our meal to go. Still ironing out the kinks I think. Once they get their liquor license I'm sure it will get smoother for them.

There are several things that I want to bring up with this location…read more PROs The pros are that the food provided is great, it tastes good and is healthy which is one of the main goals of going to the establishment. If you are aiming for healthy eats, then this is the place to hit up. Its in the downtown core and is accessible. They also offer a killer Portuguese Tart to wrap up a meal! CONs Unfortunately, this is where it goes off the rails a bit. Some of the cons to the location is that the price point isn't in line with other similar locations in the area. I get more salad/rice bowls from Salus just up the street for $5 cheaper. There is no differentiator between the two on this level. I think its reflected in the customer presence as well as I've rarely seen the location filled at lunch. I would say the return for a $20 rice bowl, the amount of rice and protein provided was concerning and miniscule in comparison to competitors in the area. The last con I have is that the location doesn't operate in cash which may be uncommon these days, but it can be annoying to those who do and don't have alternative ways of paying. The food is fine, but comparable and cheaper options are available nearby. I have no compelling reason to return here and that is one of the issues I face when I think about this location. Give the public something different or at a more competitive price to succeed.

The place is setup really well to get people in and out in no time. There was only 1 person working when I came in but it was pretty empty. I had a look at the menu and they have a good selection of bowls, burritos as well as soups and sandwiches. The staff came up and gave me a run down of how things work and I let him know that I was set on the Sante Fe bowl. He whipped up my order in no time and was really friendly. We had a chat about the food there and what he liked. It didn't even take 2 minutes and I was paid and out of there. I headed back to my place and have to say, I enjoyed the bowl more than I thought I would. Glad I tried it, would come back to try something else. I realize I forgot to take a picture of my bowl after going through my pics

I've actually had Brasa previously many years ago for a Yelp event but this time I decided to stop by the Queen St. location to grab dinner. Their menu boasts unique flavours where ingredients are fresh and nutritious. I decided to order a bowl from their phone app where my order was made in about 15 min. Upon arriving at Brasa, the space is accessible where the cashier/food counter area is to your right. On the left there is bar seating where you could enjoy your items there. I mentioned to staff that I was there to pick up my food where it was already made. In terms of food, I ordered the tuna ceviche bowl (Organic tricolour Peruvian quinoa, marinated tuna, avocado and sweet potato blossoms, two types of Peruvian corn, finely sliced red onion) which cost around $17. I had the bowl for dinner and it felt super healthy with the quinoa, avocado, and tuna! The ingredients tasted great together and the crunchy corn added a crunchy textural element to the bowl. Overall, a healthy alternative in the Queen/University area!

Owned by the Food Dudes, this location of Pantry is one of their five stores in Toronto. The concept is simple, they have a variety of sides and proteins where you can either order a combo or pick and choose which items you want to get (which will determine the price). Pantry is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are actually one of my go to places where I know I can get some good quality eats. This particular location on King West is popular and is a good option for anyone looking a fast lunch which is healthy and delicious. I've been to this location as well as other locations of Pantry many many times and always enjoy their offerings. Everything always tastes great and the options and variety is great. I usually like getting the kale caesar, mac and cheese, as well as the jerk chicken (combo #3). Service is also great as well. This location also has some seating where you can also opt to have your food there. Overall, another great location of Pantry downtown where you can grab delicious and healthy proteins and sides for lunch or dinner. Don't skip out on their breakfast items as well - they are great as well! No doubt I will keep returning to Pantry where this location has some good options as well as friendly service.

They had so many variations of these bowls and lots of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from. The service via Uber Eats was quick and had no issues with that. When it came to the food, I was certainly underwhelming. I was not a fan of the Smoky Chipotle bowl and had thought I would love it based on the ingredients in the bowl. I found it lacked flavour and was just completely bland. The sauces had a weird aftertaste and I just did not enjoy the bowl overall. I hope the rest of their bowls are good and I just got a one off not pleasant one. I don't think I would be ordering again from this place. 5/10 recommend!
