There are several options here from dinners, sandwiches, soup/salad bar, daily specials and even a popular food challenge for only $10!!! The fries here are fresh made and very good. Stopped on our 8 hour road trip from NC. Wow! Family of 5 loved this place...lesson learned we could have all shared the fries. Philly cheese steak was delicious. Ribs were a bit on the sweet side. This is a dive a medium size place in the middle of nowhere. But they do have an addition to play. games and the Buffet its pretty big. Im about goodfood but i want a good price too! Taco tuesday $7.25 + tax u get all u can eat. No one has this at that price. And Ive had the tacos. Soft shell n hard shell. You make your own at thr salad bar they have the works even sour cream yummy delicious and affordable. Its an old Antique mall with this Resturant added at the entrance. I have had the Steak sub and fresh cut fries. This sub is very delicious n nice amount of melted cheese. The french frys are so good i drive from Berkely Springs Wv about 12 miles each way To get them. Thry have assorted sauces n ketchup. I gave it 4 stars only because the seating. If they had nice booths to sitdown Id give it 5. Overall I like that they give several options on all you can eat at an affordable price. Phenomenal barbecue. I just went to Ridersville Cycle to purchase a bike from Harold. On the way back to New Jersey I find this gem. I asked what is good and they said the brisket. I got mac & cheese and a loaded baked potato. The sauces are phenomenal had to be over 10 of them to choose from. Excited to buy a bike from ridersville again, to take this 4 Hour Drive, so that I will be able to eat this great barbecue again. read more

We stopped at the Antique Mall in Hancock, Maryland a few weeks ago and had lunch here at Krazy Rayz. It was a midway point on our trip from Baltimore to Pennsylvania to visit my family for the holidays. The plan was to do some antique browsing and then get lunch. Conveniently Krazy Rayz is located right in the same building with the antique mall. What a great little place for lunch - local business, local color and nice folks running their own small business. I definitely recommend doing lunch here if you stop at the antique mall. The restaurant is very clean. Bathrooms are shared with the antique mall and are also very clean (but rundown as might be expected for an old building). The prices are very fair and the portions are substantial. We both ordered a sandwich with fries and we were happily surprised with how much food that we were served. The people working here, who I am guessing are the owners, are very friendly. I ordered a pork bbq sandwich. The other half ordered a beef brisket sandwich. I loved my sandwich. I tried a couple of the bbq sauces on the sandwich and I liked the red wine bbq sauce a lot. Lots of sauces to choose from. Fries were boardwalk style and I used malt vinegar on them - yum! For the price and location it is a great meal and a great value. I always like to support a local business over a corporate chain. This is a warm and fuzzy type of feel good place if you get what I mean. I've never waited longer than 15 minutes & they were nice enough to give us free drinks for having to wait so long! 5/5 Ok, this place surprised me. Absolutely amazing!!! First Impression: On vacation, Driving on the way to Norfolk, we decided to find an out of route, off the wall restaurant.. Google showed us this place with high ratings. Saw the place in an Antique Flea Market and initially thought it was just the local coffee for the Market and it won't be anything special. Even when you look at it, nothing special pops out. 3/5 at this point. Quality of Food: This is where they earn their stars! The food was the best I have had in BBQ in a long time. I ordered their combo plate which included a 1/4 slab of ribs, 2 slices of beef brisket and 2 sides, which I had chosen their Smoked Mac n Cheese and their Shammy beans which were amazingly delicious! The Ribs came with their own special secret glaze which was just to die for all by itself! They had 50+ Varieties of BBQ sauce which they made all but 1 homemade in house! And they were all super delicious!!!! The best part is, the place is Owned and Operated by a Mother and Daughter, Plus the Granddaughter! Seriously that 4 year old girl was running around helping her mom doing a great job! It was refreshing. I love spending my money in family owned business over big corporate chains.. The bill was a little on the expensive side, $50+ for the 3 of us. BUT The quality of food, plus it being family owned and operated, the hefty price tag was well worth it! Lacked Smokey- ness but the BBQ sauces more than made up for it. Loved the Tangy Carolina and basic BBQ. For heat , start with Creeper. If you are hooked on HEAT, go w/ Habanero. Tons of fries.
