This weekend was for us. First the free tasting introduced us to a great product. Next two choices of Novembers cocktail made especially for our taste were enjoyed by the fireplace. As I teased my Wisconsin family members about warmup drinks and no snow on the ground, we spilt a flight of 1/2 size cocktails. The decor meant a lot to me since my family had ponies, horses growing up and our Dad had his pets. They were Belgian workhorses, his babies. They behaved better than us kids. We sat out on their lawn that is waterfront when we were done. Super nice area. They do have a bar that is on the premises as well. There was an outdoor bar, but it wasn't open when we were there (beginning of May). This would be a super fun place to come for lunch or just to hang out on the grassy area and watch the scenery. The woman working there happily answered questions while providing us samples (you get 5 for free). My friend is a bourbon drinker and stuck with that, but I was having fun trying some of their flavored spirits. They had lots of yummy offerings. I ended up buying a bottle to take back to Virginia with me. If you're looking for a break while shopping at the outlet mall, definitely stop in.
