My friend got the Bella Vista Omelet with home fries, and we both agreed that while the food was good, it felt like standard brunch fare rather than anything particularly memorable. Based on the long wait and the hype surrounding Sabrina's, I think we were expecting the food to really stand out. In my opinion, the dishes we tried were comparable to what you'd find at a quality chain brunch spot like First Watch. Adding the sun-dried tomatoes and the avocado is perfection. I usually make a combination bite of all of the ingredients and it is heaven to my taste buds. I highly recommend this entrée. We have gotten a lot of other things on the menu before, but some of the standouts include the French Onion Soup, the Tuna Carpaccio, the Escargot, the Tomato Tart, and honestly just a side of the fries. The fries here are delicious. The waiter recommended the Tuna Carpaccio and oh my gosh it was so good. It was salty and the tuna is so melt in your mouth and the bread went perfectly with it. The tomato tart just tasted like an elevated pizza so you can't really go wrong with it. My husband absolutely loves the Escargot and I think the sauce that it comes with is really good. I have to admit that I'm here AT LEAST once a week and there was one week that I actually came here 2 days in a row (not my choice, I swear). It is absolutely my favorite place to go for some great craft brews or some grub. Or both. I've never had anything here that I didn't want to eat over and over again. I was pretty broken hearted when they took my Asparagus Salad off the menu for the summer (they stick to seasonal ingredients for their salad options, cant be mad about that) but I was quickly introduced to the Hazelnut Salad and all was forgiven. When I'm not pretending to be healthy their burgers and the Beer Can Chicken are out of this world. I've had everything from brunch to flatbreads to grilled salmon to pork tacos to salted caramel bacon pudding (if you're ever lucky enough to be here when that's on the specials menu you MUST get it) and the quality and freshness of their ingredients is always top notch. The bartenders are great as well. Even before we became regulars here we were always greeted with smiles and friendly conversation. They are all very knowledgable about the draft list as well which can be a little overwhelming for a first-timer. Whatever you fancy, I guarantee you will find something to love here! read more

I really wanted to like this place. And maybe the lunch and dinner menus are better but brunch was a disappointment. I am veg so I ordered just the simple breakfast sandwich on a biscuit. It was $9 and the blandest thing ever. I know now why the server offered hot sauce. It came with home fries that were loaded with onions which I don't eat. The atmosphere is good but the lack of veg food and that breakfast sandwich will probably keep me from trekking up from south philly again. read more
