Decided to visit Jerry's Bar for brunch today and I was not disappointed! The host greeted us with a smile there was live music playing and our server Stephanie was great! The ambiance is relaxed and is just your perfect local hideaway gem I must say. Stephanie assisted in making some great recommendations for the table. I had the Eggs Benny which have smoked salmon over crispy hashbrowns and poached eggs. Somewhat salty but savory nonetheless. I added pancakes with cream cheese and yes it tastes equivalent to a toaster strudel so if that's your jam you must try. The salad was great as well. They have lots of options on their brunch menu and it's offered both Saturday and Sunday which is nice. I will definitely be back.

Went here for a birthday / pre comedy show dinner! We were seated in the not-main room which was a little disappointing as the main room had a much more fun and lively atmosphere. Our server was awesome! He knew the menu and specials very well and was attentive and helpful. Food was very good! I got the burger and added a fried egg. Lacked a bit of flavor, but still very good! Overall was a good experience and would love to go back to try there brunch!

10 Stars! Great restaurant/bar. Decor is nice. Staff is friendly. I went for the Sunday Jazz Brunch and enjoyed the performers. The food was delicious. The home fries with smoked Gouda was the best! There's a full bar with seasonal drinks. I enjoyed the Golden Autumn. There is outside seating and a classic car out front which is so fitting in the brick paved road. Definitely going back!

Came here for dinner and really enjoyed! There was some sort of bingo going on when we arrived so it was very loud even though we were on a separate floor. Still it was a fun vibe for us. My table split the pretzel bites (forgot to take a photo) which were good. I got the vegan chili with tofu and it was so incredibly filling. Definitely a good vegan option. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails and service was great. Would come back.

My favorite happy hour! They have a great selection of beers, cocktails, and food! You truly can't go wrong with a happy hour here. The humus trio is my favorite, and I don't even LOVE beets, but this is one I will eat.

I stumbled upon this cute little place walking from the comedy club the Punch Line. I was hesitant at first but glad I stopped it. The establishment is clean, cute, and staff is welcoming. I had a mocktail and crème brûlée. Let me tell you the mocktail was delicious they actually have a few on their menu you should try. The dessert was so tasty. I enjoyed it very much. The crème brûlée was creamy, sweet, and had fresh fruit. Go check it out.

Loved the lights, decor, and the vibes! Stopped in quick with a friend for a drink before dinner and a show at the Fillmore. I ordered a Spritz - I think it was called a Rosie's Spritz (or something else that started with an R). It was refreshing and I would definitely order it again!

My friend and I hit up Jerry's Bar because she's heard great things about this restaurant. We went there for brunch on a Saturday afternoon, and sat outdoors. We were bumpin' to the music and enjoying the beautiful weather as we were served espresso martinis and hearty meals. The drinks were nicely crafted with care, and the food is your typical, tasty brunch. Service was nice, and it was overall a great experience.

Jerry's bar is a cozy neighborhood bar and restaurant. The place has a warm inviting feeling from the moment you walk in. I went the day before the Super Bowl. They had the place wonderfully decked out in Eagles everything! I had a simple eggs, home fries, vegan sausage& toast off the brunch menu. The eggs were cooked exactly to my taste, a nice over medium. The home fries were seasoned well. I was excited to see the option for Vegan sausage on the menu. Which i added to my meal. They also had specialty drinks. I ordered the Eagles mimosa. Everything was great and everyone was friendly.

Came back for brunch and had an okay time. Made reservations, but still had to wait 10-15min to be seated. Our waitress was very friendly, but it took forever to get water and order. We ordered an Irish coffee and espresso martini for drinks. For food, I ordered the spring omelette which was delicious and full of veggies. I loved the side potatoes that came with it. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast Sammie on an everything bagel and it came out using a plain bagel. He strongly disliked his food and said the bagel alone was stale and the filling had no seasoning. I took a few bites and agreed his food was not good. However, mine was on point! Order the omelette but skip the stale bagel sandwich.

Really love the ambiance. Great outdoor seatings, food was flavorful, and the server was attentive. Food breakdown: Wings - 1/2 sesame 1/2 bbq. I like the bbq better but overall i appreciate how it sticks to the wings instead of being overly saucy. Burger: good. Wished the meat was a bit more rare, but tasted great. Buratta pesto: the combo of pesto and balsamic vinaigrette was awesome to lair it with the buratta, but the toast was...too toasty. FOR ME. 7.2/10

Went for brunch - loved the vibes! Server was quick to come over and was also our bartender. We got a delish sticky bun to start us off and then I opted for the chilequiles special! It was packing some heat! I like my eggs a little runny and the were fried pretty hard so that would be my only negative! Overall - will be back!

Food was very good. I would come back to try more items. The Summer Berry Tonic was amazing and got me right. The Jerry burger was on point with the hand cut fries. Our waitress Stephanie was a whole VIBE from the moment we were seated. She told us the specials and knew the menu very well when we had questions. We were seated right away for happy hour. When in the city again I will definitely stop to Jerry's Bar. Oh and playlist is a vibe too. Love it.

My two favorites are Born Again and Buck 48. The Born Again is a clarified punch that's super refreshing--almost leaning tart, but in a really good way. The Buck 48 is also refreshing, with warm, spicy notes that give it an autumn vibe, though honestly, it's great any time of year. If you're in the mood for something bold and boozy, I also recommend The Golden Ticket. My palate leans away from anything overly sweet or overpowering--I appreciate balance--and every cocktail I've had here hits just right. The only sad thing is that my favorite bartenderess is no longer there, but the staff is still awesome, and the music is always on point, which keeps the vibe strong. Just a heads-up: this cocktail bar is upstairs from Sassafras, and the menus are completely different. If you're looking for a true craft cocktail experience, make sure you're upstairs at 48 Record Bar. The atmosphere is great. I usually go on Saturday nights around 8 p.m. and have been lucky to grab a seat, though it definitely gets more crowded later. The fact that I've been back several times says a lot--especially since I usually only visit a place once with so many options in the city.

Huge bar, giant wall of liquor bottles, dim lighting, and a cool old-school vibe. I told the bartender that ordering a beer in a place like this felt like I was insulting him. But then I spotted a dark beer on the menu that sounded too good to pass up. If you follow me, you know I'm slowly becoming a dark beer guy. I liked it a lot. The sandwich special was a cheesesteak. Sorry, I should've taken a picture of the menu. But I really enjoyed it, and for $18 it came with a mountain of seasoned fries, which feels like a bargain these days. Bomb Shell: the two people working absolutely crushed it. I don't know if they were understaffed or if Monday night got busier than expected, but they were working their tails off the entire time. I ordered guacamole and chips for appetizers and it came out right away. The chips are fresh and not stale. Good amount of guacamole. Street corn aka elote. The corn is juicy. Unfortunately, it was not enrobed with mayo and cotija cheese as a typical elote should be. Fried plantain: not many slices. They are dry and not sweet . I was hoping for more ripe plantain Birria tacos: small tacos, the consommé lacks of depth of flavor. I could only taste saltines. The waiter asked if I wanted rice and beans. I said only beans. The complimentary crunchy corn snack for the table was a nice surprise! We ordered an app, a ceviche, and four entrees to share between the six of us and found that plenty filling. The Yuca Frita app was tasty with a delicious dip we held on to, but I wish it came with more as six pieces felt small for the price. The Ceviche Mixto was a more solid portion with a great variety of seafood; it was on the tart side but came with a really nice cilantro sauce that the table ate clean. Out of our entrees, the Lomo Saltado was the highlight with well-cooked and tender chunks of steak and yummy fries (simple, I know). The Pescado a Lo Macho and Arroz con Mariscos were very generous portions with a ton of various seafood; even the fried fish dish came with shrimp, mussels, and scallops on top. The Aji de Gallina was maybe the least noteworthy entree, a chicken stew with cassava and rice, but even that was hearty and filling. Service was good throughout with plenty of water refills, and the cost was surprisingly reasonable for what we ordered. I'd definitely recommend this place for seafood lovers, and I'd be interested in coming back to try the roast chicken and to have the lomo saltado and ceviche again!
