First time here for dinner. 4 adults and 2 kids…read more We ordered 4 main dishes, 2 little jars of soup ($5.99 each), the mochi pancake and a big bucket of rice It was plenty of food and we even had left overs! The prawns were so good!! Crispy outside and bouncy inside, skip the walnuts though, they are cold and soft The ginseng chicken soup has an of little bones... wish they stained it but taste was good Everything taste good with the prawns being most surprisingly good. Roast pork was sold out which was bummer At the end you get the coconut milk tapioca dessert, it's very cold. I prefer it served warm/ hot but the kids loved it cold. We went on a Monday around 5:40pm, it was really quiet and only 3-5 tables occupied while we were there. Food came quickly besides the soup; I think they forgot We had to ask for forks and water for the kids which some restaurants automatically ask/ give you; otherwise everyone was friendly and food was yummy. Will come back, we usually go to V garden in Great Wall but here is definitely comparable or better? We didn't like triumph valley for dinner dishes

Super pricey food that tastes bad and owner has really bad attitudes... no thank you, nothing..!…read moreWe ordered take out : 1. Braised Mix Mushrooms with Beef Granales & Black Ppper...$32.99!!! 2. Honey Walnut Shrimp $25.99!!! 3. House Fried Rice...$20.99!!! Nothing tastes good here and when we picked up the food, the owner was mean and didn't say a word when we handed her money. Her face was super mean, too... very very unfriendly. DO NOT GO THERE! It didn't end there... the food we brought home had some weird smell and tasted rotten... like dead mice!!!

I've passed by Champion so many times and it always went unnoticed but this time I finally tried…read morethem and they were good. Champion is located inside the Great Wall mall and it's pretty unassuming. There's a few tables inside and that's basically it. They have a relatively small menu available and a wide portion of braised items and frozen dumplings. On the menu, there's a handful of bentos and some noodles. I only noticed one staff member even though my visit was on the weekend but there were no issues experienced. I ordered a popcorn chicken bento and it came with a complimentary black milk tea. The popcorn chicken was nice and crispy and seasoned well. I like that the bento included a braised egg, taiwanese sausage, and a piece of tofu. The braised egg was one of the best I've had and I'll definitely have to be back for more.

I recently found Champion Gourmet Co. (冠軍) inside Great Wall Shopping Mall in Kent, and it feels…read morevery much like a classic Taiwanese bento shop. The space is small but clean, and ordering is done through a self-service kiosk or QR code, which makes the process quick and easy. They mainly serve Taiwanese-style bento boxes and braised snacks. Some of the options include: * Popcorn Chicken Bento * Taiwanese Pork Chop Bento * Braised Pork (Lu Rou) Bento * Smoked Chicken Leg Bento * Taiwanese Sausage Bento * Braised Pork Belly Bento Prices are around $14-$17. I ordered the Popcorn Chicken Bento, which came with stir-fried greens, braised egg, pickled mustard greens, Taiwanese sausage, and braised tofu. The popcorn chicken was freshly fried, crispy on the outside and juicy inside, with basil that gives it a very authentic Taiwanese flavor. The portion was generous and they even included a milk tea, which made the meal very satisfying. They also offer a variety of Taiwanese braised snacks (lu wei) like braised eggs, tofu, chicken gizzards, beef tripe, chicken feet, and pig ears. Another nice touch is the freezer section where you can buy frozen dumplings, wontons, and buns to take home. Overall, it's a simple and comforting Taiwanese spot. If you're shopping at Great Wall in Kent and want a quick, satisfying meal, this is a convenient place to grab a bento. The parking is complimentary in the plaza.

Parking can be tricky if you are there during the weekend or busy hours…read more Plenty of seating, very friendly and attentive staff. Cute older woman was preparing dumplings at the counter behind the glass (you can also catch them rolling out and preparing noodles) Fresh, flavorful, delicious. A favorite of ours whenever we are craving soup dumplings or hand pulled noodles. Lots of options, everything we eat has been delicious.

Located at the Great Wall Shopping Mall (south entrance), Mama Dough lives up to the hype!…read moreDefinitely more affordable and accessible than Din Tai Fung in terms of Xiao Long Baos. It's a casual spot with many seats. My sister and I came here at lunch time on a Thursday, and there were a lot of people in there, which is always a good sign to me. My sister and I shared the Crab Xiao Long Bao, Spicy shrimp wontons, beef braised noodle soup, and the Tianjin Style Chive and Egg Pancakes. I really liked everything we ordered. The crab xiao long bao was nice and soupy; the crab flavor is subtle but nice. What got me was the little crab carrot in the baos. The absolute cutest thing and a nice touch! The pancake was delicious. Very herbaceous and savory, the pancake was crispy and chewy at all the right places. The wontons weren't super spicy, but the flavors were good, and the wonton itself was tasty. The top dish for me, though, was the beef braised noodle soup. The handmade noodles were bouncy and perfectly chewy. The beef is definitely the star of this dish, being so freakin tender and flavorful! The bok choy added that freshness and crunch that complemented the soup really well. From the tender meat, the chewy noodles, and the bok choy, this soup is my absolute favorite item here so far. I'd like to try the spicy version next time. The staff were super friendly. The food came out fairly quickly after ordering, and everything was so hot and fresh! I'll definitely be back as I'd like to try the other items they offer.
