We had our two grandsons me and my husband. I ordered crab legs, baked potato green beans has been ordered black and chicken fried okra, baked potato one grandson ordered hamburger and french fries and the other ordered chicken strips and french fries. We ordered hash puppies as a start. This is how our order came out, hush puppies, then shortly afterwards my crab legs, green beans, baked potato, my husband's black and chicken and a baked potato a few minutes later my grandson's chicken fingers and fries and the other grandson's hamburger. Although the touch puppies came out with all the other food instead of a starter, they were still delicious hot and very appetizing. But that's the end of the goodness. My crab legs and green beans were cold! Very very cold! When I was finally able to get the waitresses attention and tell her they were cold, she took them back to fix. What I got back boiling hot green beans and the crab legs were only just lukewarm. Since they took my plate back with my baked potato, I kind of expected a fresh baked potato, but no such luck. My husbands blackened chicken, tasted like it was cooked in the same oil as the fish and that's a problem because he doesn't like fish. Plus he never got his fried okra. .... when I reminded the waitress that he had ordered the fried okra, we found out that they had ran out of fried okra, but by this time he was done with his dinner so what's the use of getting another side that we paid for ?. My grandson with a hamburger didn't get his french fries until about five minutes after he was finished with his hamburger. We paid full price and didn't complain because we were hungry, but sadly, we were very disappointed. I really expected so much better and since we had several problems with all this, I would've thought that they would've at least given us a small discount. I don't know that we'll be back anytime soon, if at all.

Served with a lemon wedge, remoulade, and a cute little lettuce garnish on the side, too small to be called a salad. They were pretty good; I've had far worse and I've had better. A decent amount of crab, nicely browned, held together well, but more Old Bay than I'd like. Good portion size. I wasn't disappointed. A bottle of hot sauce was offered, not the usual brand. The fries were the spicy battered type, probably not made in house but were good. Hush puppies crunchy and not greasy, sweet, excellent. Fried okra? I guess good if you like okra. I always have to try it when offered and reach the same conclusion: it's only meant for thickening gumbo. I sat outside on the back patio with a view of the bar. What entertainment! A loud animated conversation between one local "Jimmy" and two of his friends carried on the entire time I was there. I don't know what they were talking about, the topic seemed to change from minute to minute - and sometimes in mid-sentence. Liberally peppered with words and phrases narrow-minded people consider vulgar. I was so amused. At one point Jimmy noticed they weren't alone and shouted out to the room (just me and one other party of 2) "Sorry about my language, I hope none of y'all are from a church group or nothin." I just kind of grinned and told him to carry on. On the way out I asked at the front desk, remarked that Jimmy was hilarious and asked if he was a regular. Indeed he was, and there's a "Beware of Jimmy" sign hanging over the bar in his honor! Mostly national beer brands at the bar, but also two Georgia beers on tap. I asked about cider and they had one: an Angry Orchard from New York. That's really terrible cider but I got one anyway. I wasn't in the mood for a cocktail and I don't like beer. My waitress was wonderful. She had good advice on the food, checked on me frequently, and always called me by endearments, switching between "baby", "honey", and "darling". I tipped her $10 on a $25 meal. What can I say? I'm a sucker for Southern charm.

The shrimp all head on is only $6 for the jumbo a pound and $3 for mixed sized and the crabs are $15 a dozen I believe. They are multi generation members of the community as well as fishermen. They are planning bigger and better things in the coming months and year. Hopefully a storefront somewhere. They also always have some really cool non seafood item this week they have fresh Lemons the size of a baseball they were so big I thought they were unripe oranges, and they also had tangerines that were out of this world and 6 for $5 so you just can't beat the deals and support a local business and if you're a farm to table person the only you'd get fresher is to buy your own boat and cast a net. On Saturdays rain or shine they're there and will always offer helpful advice on how to prepare something is you are unsure. Heck their shrimp is fresher and almost the same price as the restaurant depot. I love these guys and will continue to patronize them as long as I am here in the area.
