Our first visit was incredible, such good food and service, but unfortunately, tonight's visit left…read morea lot to be desired. Came in and it wasn't incredibly busy. We had our two grandsons me and my husband. I ordered crab legs, baked potato green beans has been ordered black and chicken fried okra, baked potato one grandson ordered hamburger and french fries and the other ordered chicken strips and french fries. We ordered hash puppies as a start. This is how our order came out, hush puppies, then shortly afterwards my crab legs, green beans, baked potato, my husband's black and chicken and a baked potato a few minutes later my grandson's chicken fingers and fries and the other grandson's hamburger. Although the touch puppies came out with all the other food instead of a starter, they were still delicious hot and very appetizing. But that's the end of the goodness. My crab legs and green beans were cold! Very very cold! When I was finally able to get the waitresses attention and tell her they were cold, she took them back to fix. What I got back boiling hot green beans and the crab legs were only just lukewarm. Since they took my plate back with my baked potato, I kind of expected a fresh baked potato, but no such luck. My husbands blackened chicken, tasted like it was cooked in the same oil as the fish and that's a problem because he doesn't like fish. Plus he never got his fried okra. .... when I reminded the waitress that he had ordered the fried okra, we found out that they had ran out of fried okra, but by this time he was done with his dinner so what's the use of getting another side that we paid for ?. My grandson with a hamburger didn't get his french fries until about five minutes after he was finished with his hamburger. We paid full price and didn't complain because we were hungry, but sadly, we were very disappointed. I really expected so much better and since we had several problems with all this, I would've thought that they would've at least given us a small discount. I don't know that we'll be back anytime soon, if at all.

Before my beer was half finished my blood pressure was sky high because of the undue stress that the owner caused. The patio was 1/3 to 1/2 full. While Aubrey was my waitress- very kind, pleasant and prompt- the owner walked around the patio 90 to nothing, stomping his feet while walking, sliding chairs here and there (fast, furious and noisy) and just ran all over the place NONSTOP making quite the commotion. He asked me why I am leaving and he told me "I'm the owner, it's my job to take care of everyone"... No sir, it's your waitresses job to take care of everyone- you make this a very unpleasant environment. Sit down, trust your employees, go in the kitchen or something sir. That was ridiculous.

Don't let looks fool you. Did I mention the burgers? I was in heaven with my BREAKFAST BURGER! It is an epic burger topped with an egg, ham, sausage and bacon packed between two pieces of French toast. It comes with a side of syrup. So, so good, and not something you will find elsewhere. I opted for the SWEET POTATO FRIES as my side which was perfect pairing with the syrup laden burger goodness!!! Another person at the table ordered the SCALLOPS which were on special. They were good. This is a pub where you can get standard fare such as burgers or fancier options such as scallops! They were a little under staffed. Our bar tender also was the waiter for tables in the bar room. They were running around and you could feel their stress. More staff would be only recommendation for improvement. I still believe this is a 5 star place!
