Service speed was fine, a young waitress checked on me several times and was frendly. I had a cheese burger that was delicious.

Came here with 3 friends today for lunch on our way to Kent Falls. We were greeted by the bartender/ server telling the only other customer at the bar that she hoped someone else would come in because she didnt want to be there. We got the impression that we imposing on her- I think her name was Jade. Our food was ok but my one friend's chicken gyro was very light on the chicken and heavy on the sauce and it tasted off. When she told our server she said " oh sorry" as she walked away while she rolled her eyes and shook her head. When my friend went up to pay- which I thought was weird he even had to do that seeing as we were sitting at the bar, he saw her rolling her eyes at another customer. Clearly Jade wanted to be anywhere else then at this restaurant helping the 5 whole customers that were bothering her sure hope someone else came into relieve her from her torture today. Too bad- cute town..... Yes Mary Ann it was on Monday the 27th. I really dislike writing negative reviews and I'm hoping it was just an off day. We would all love to return to Kent and give you another try sometimes. read more

In a pinch this place will do, especially if you have kids. The pizza is mediocre at best. Call before you head over if you plan on going late, their online hours say they are open until 1am, this is not true....perhaps the bar stays over, but when we showed up at 10pm they acted like we were insane!! read more

Had a frustrating experience tonight, which has happened here a few times lately - though, like most everyone else, I try to be patient and understanding given the new restrictions and challenges. Ordered an iceberg wedge salad, which comes with blue cheese and crumbled bacon, and which I've enjoyed from here in the past, and got home to find that while there was bacon and blue cheese, the amount of lettuce was so paltry (nowhere near a proper wedge) that I actually felt the only right thing to do was drive back to the restaurant. I spoke to a woman who I believe is the owner, and she was very nice; she sent me out again with a much more substantial wedge of lettuce, in line with what they've served in the past... and I drove all the way back to where I'm staying only to find out that, this time, there was no bacon at all, only the blue cheese bits. Decided not to drive back a third time, but I'm going to be wary in the future. read more

This was the perfect place to order from for a group that all wanted something different, we ordered Greek salad, cheese burgers, pizza, chicken francese, turkey club sand which & Philly cheese steak. We ordered there and then went to the bar to have some drinks while we waited. The bartender made great drinks and the bar has 2 huge flat screens TVs to watch "the game". I don't recommend the phillysteak, but everything else was good. I'm giving them 4 stars because they have a lot of variety, the service was great and they had a nice small bar. read more

I left the Pizza Garden right after lunch today, I originally came out to look at the beautiful landscape, its foliage bursting. Anyway, I'd ordered a small pie with garlic, onions and jalapeños and it was all I could do not to eat the remaining two slices. I don't compare the pan pizza with New York. I don't compare it with any local pies either. This is a mouth-watering- happy-tasting pizza. I'm still grinning about it. Oh, and the wait staff are very attentive. read more

I have no idea what all of these people are taking about! Chuck is a Great Host! he was gracious enough to approach us and introduce himself as well as all the restaurant patrons. The meal was one of the most satisfying dinners i have had in my life. Food made to perfection. I was so happy with the dinner on a busy friday night that i came back the next day (twice) and brought people with me to share this gem. The drinks were great! The pizza garden was an amazing find. My family and I needed a quick bite to eat and stumbled upon the pizza garden. We ordered a cheese pizza and the pesto pizza. The crust was nice and crispy and there was a good amount of cheese on the pizza. I've had pesto pizza at other places and they paled in comparison. We will definitely be back! read more

The place was not busy at all, yet it seemed that I was a leper, the way the staff ignored me. But they had better things to do, like talk to each other and sit and text their friends. I'm writing this in hopes this post brings awareness to how poor your customer service/wait staff has been the last couple of times I've dined here. Over the summer, we waited over an hour for our pizza because the waitress forgot to to place the order with the chef. We were comped the cost of our pizza and left. Last night, I came in, acknowledged the wait staff and she proceed to direct to me to anywhere in the dining room to sit. After more than 5 minutes, I got back up to retrieve my own menu at which point she apologized for the delay. There was one woman working the phones, front counter and the tables in the dining room. I had to ask twice for a refill on my ginger ale. The waitress was pleasant but the restaurant is under staffed and patrons are suffering. On their fancy chalk board, it says connect with us on social media!! With NO access to public WIFI. Overall disappointed with our town pizzeria. I'll be dining elsewhere for a while. read more

I had such a great time here! I felt very welcomed and the owner of the establishment, Chuck was very courteous with me and my group. The Martini's were amazing (Saturday's Special). We actually enjoyed this place so much that we wound up going back in the night for dinner. So today I brought a group to this restaurant after reading the terrible reviews I decided to go with my gut feelings and go against my better judgment and bring a group of 35, 16-year-old hockey players for lunch. I only gave the restaurant a 30 minute warning that we were coming The restaurant appeared to be somewhat understaffed however given the time of day it was. They just opened totally so it was understandable. I left the restaurant thoroughly impressed and greatly satisfied with the service, and the food was outstanding. My recommendation is giving these guys a second chance from what I understand they have made some management changes and from what I experienced it was a good move. Food is great! Only i did give 2 stars bc the service was terrible! i was with my family celebrating our grandmothers 80th birthday. We ordered simple stuff like burger and fries. We ended up waiting more than these people who sat down near us who JUST got there and ordered! So yes i can infer that the service was terrible. The waiter ended up coming back, but no food. Only she messed up and didn't remember what we ordered! Not that i won't go again, but hopefully i won't get the same waitress ever again! read more

This place does not even deserve one star. Was visiting the area and looking for a casual dinner with friends on the main street. Decided on this place due to the lack of options along the main drag. BAD BAD choice. Service was horrible, but food even worse. The pasta dish I had was barely edible, bland, and sour tasting. After regretfully eating half, I could not do anymore. An hour later, I became ill from eating this "food". Do NOT go here. A bag of chips from gas station down the road would be a better and safer decision for dinner. Kent is so charming and it's sad to have a place like this bring down its stock. read more

After visiting Kent Falls we wanted to get lunch. Our reception was poor in that area so I wasn't able to check reviews before eating here. We were seated right away (it wasn't crowded) and given drinks quickly as well. The problem is with quality of the food. The pizza was worse than frozen pizza I buy at the grocery store, the grinders had very little meat but tons of cheese and the potato skins had no flavor. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Service is fine, but food is terrible. Pizza has a cakey and oily crust. Meatball topping is unseasoned and dry. Sauce is OK, but too much cheese. Go somewhere else. JP Giffords is awesome, but they were closed. read more

I have reviewed Kent Pizza Garden before, but since we had so many issues with them we stopped going. Two years later, we place an order to go and the SAME thing happened to us!! My husband went to pick up our order and they didn't have any record of my order! I had to laugh because this is why we stopped going two years ago and nothing has changed. I think they only reason they stay in business is because there are not many options in Kent. We will truly never go again! read more

Went here for a burger, meet an old friend, get a beer. Sat at bar. Spoiled kid workers not paying attention to customers, more interested in talking with each other. Spanish workers in kitchen cooking "Italian" food. Food came out, cold, stale, like it had been cooked and it sat on counter for 30 minutes. Friend suggested we send it back, I said nah let's just take the loss. Was telling my friend about how I had been working on my muscle car, (not a big deal), and I hear one of the spoiled kid workers saying "oh now he's a race car driver." So now I am being insulted by the lazy inattentive staff as I pay for really bad food. So I start to listen to the spoiled kid workers talk (they are hanging at end of bar talking aloud), and they are talking about some kind off kick back scheme they have going in the town. Unreal. Seems like they could care less about the food and customers, like it's an inconvenience they have to be there to oversee the Spanish cooks, and be around paying customers. I will not return, ever. read more

Second time we've been to this place and the food has been very good both times. This is the only place we've been to that serves a well done burger that's not burnt. Fries are awesome and the marinated grilled chicken is delicious. One of the only out of state places we've tried a second time. Both servers we had were wonderful and attentive. Only thing is they should update the men's room according to my partner. read more

dont even waste your time at this place (i cant even call it a restaurant) i ordered form there and all i ordered was the sin city burger they said it would take 15 mins when i got there i was told that it never even got sent to the kitchen and i would have to wait another 15 mins and when i got the food the meat was under cooked the cheese looked like it was melted with a hair dryer and it wasnt even on the burger it was mostly on the fries the fries were burnt form being in the fryer to long and the bacon looked like it was sitting out for an hour because it was so hard this was probably the worst $14 dollars i have and ever will spend on food. read more

It's nice to have the option of a casual place to grab a beer in Kent where everything else is so pricey. We ate outside which was great, except for the flies! Service is not great. The highlight was "The Cookie", an enormous fresh-from-the-oven chocolate chip cookie in its own baking tin, topped with vanilla ice cream and mounds of whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. (I didn't see it on the menu and ordered it based on the recommendation of my daughter, a Kent School student - being from just outside Manhattan, I was sure this decadent monstrosity would set us back close to $20, so I was pleasantly shocked that it was only $7. It was delicious and 2 of us didn't even eat half of it! Next time we want to come sit in the comfy looking booths inside, which look very inviting. I can see why KPG is where the students like to come! read more

Was nervous about being in Kent hungry late on a Sunday night but am SO GLAD we found this place! The service was quick and the servers were fun and accommodating. I had the cowboy burger and the side of fries. Delicious, juicy burger! Plus the fries are my favorite kind of fries. SoOoOo tasty. Couldn't recommend this place more! Eff the haters! read more
