I distinctly remember, however, the reason I like this nail salon was the impeccable service. A few weeks ago, I was in the area, I needed a pedi and I returned. I'm so GLAD I did! Min did my pedi--and the attention to detail was TOP NOTCH. That was the BEST pedicure I have had in years. Two weeks later, I returned to get my nails done. I cannot stress enough how reputable this salon is! I have seen people come in after a day or two having messed up their own nails to have Minh, Bao Phung or staff correct them with so much pleasure and never a bad word said. I have witnessed cleaning of tubs, seats, handles, arms rests and counters while having my nails dried. They are kind, professional and the attention to detail of each customer is amazing! They call you by your name as if you are family and treat you as such. If there is ever a problem, Minh will always fix it and I've been with them for 8 years and I personally have never had an issue. If you ever see a negative review, check to make sure the reviewer is talking about the right place or consider the source and what they may have expected that may have been unreasonable. Before the new owner took over, this had been a good nail salon. The women who did my full gel set 16 days ago forgot to use primer and the nails were popping off after 3 days. Since I was away on business, I came back 9 days later and they fixed (but did not start a new set) the nails along with several other services I had done for myself and my daughter. After leaving, I realized I was overcharged and when I called, the owner, Hong, informed me I paid for the color change ($20). We couldn't find the same color and the polish was off anyway. Then, 5 days later I called again because I had to glue 4 nails and two more popped off. I was told they wold refund my $2 and fix the nails. When I arrived for my appointment, the owner told me I had to pay for the fill and repairs because the initial set was over 2 weeks old. The last fill was 6 days ago. Three visits in 16 days is unacceptable and I should pay again? Never again. I spent $150 in the last 8 weeks at this salon and they have lost my business forever. Lastly, nothing is more rude than when they can speak English to you, but communicate back and forth to each other regarding your complaint in their language. Take your business elsewhere! read more

I've been here in the past when it was under the previous owner. It was bought out by a family member of the original owner (it's been through a few as of now). Immediately walking in, you can tell the owner has put in a lot of time and effort cleaning up the space. He's added a whole plethora of colors and brands for his clients to choose from. He's also added new shelving units - If you frequent salons, you'll know these can get messy really quick. You can see the freshness of the new paint. All this shows the owner's pride and money he's invested in his business. While I only had my eyebrows waxed, I noticed that each station had shields and sanitizing wipes. My sister never gets her nails done since it gives her anxiety and they made her feel comfortable and did an amazing design on her nails. I got the Shellac nail gel manicure done here for the first time and it has been 8 days since and not a chip or peel! New Yorkers are not hip to this quite yet, but my coworkers thought they looked great! Everyone here is nice. Only thing I wasnt too thrilled about was how the woman shaped my nails. I prefer round nails but some of my nails are leaning to one side, so next time I have to pay attention to them shaping to avoid this...but no biggie. Poor job and poor service. It took my friend and I some time to find a nail color we liked and the first four we picked were not in stock. We were very rushed to pick a color quickly even though there were literally no other customers in the store. When you're about to spend $55+ on a mani pedi it's not cool to be rushed. The manager lady came over and rudely addressed us for opening a few bottles to test them on our nails. After being treated so poorly I reluctantly took the bottle the nail tech picked out for me (for my toes). And I hate it... I like my fingernail color but I think it was done very poorly. There's multiple spots unpainted on my nails and lots of paint on my skin which will peel off paint from my nails when it comes off in a day or two. Never going back. read more

Had a manicure, pedicure and waxing on a Saturday. The services were OK but a few things really bugged me here! I didn't see any tech pull out or put in their instruments from a sanitizer. I only saw the tech wipe them with a alcohol soaked cotton. I also have to say that I hate it when the tech leaves you to go work on someone else while your nails soak or dry between coats or do a quick wax for another customer. I understand it gets busy but if you want someone to come back - please remember the customer and their experience matters. read more

Was not pleased! The over all shape of my acrylics was okay, however the thickness and shape weren't the same on each hand. Also, on my middle finger she didn't pick the correct size nail to put on, but continued on with the process. So you can see the side of my real nail next to the acrylic.The paint job was poor. I have been to many Nail spa's but this one is second to none. Lily and Mini are outstanding and meticulous they both take there time in caring for your hands and feet. I love this place because it's not too far from home for me. They do a pretty good job at nails I've personally never been let down with the outcome of my nails. The one thing I do have to say is that the service is pretty bad. It's horrible when the owner is the rudest out of all the employees. I constantly get the feeling that the employees feel they are better than the customers that are actually giving them business. I went in with my family that was visiting from out of town. We had all scheduled a nail appointment for 10:00am. That being said they did not finish our pedicures until 1:30pm. The reason why I gave this place two stars is because of one particular salonist. The owner. Everyone else here is absolutely amazing, but with that being said il start my rant about the owner. I've gotten my nails done by her once before and had a terrible experience, she was very rude and rushed through my nails. I shook it off and just told myself I would never get them done by her again. Today me and a bunch of other bridesmaids came in to get our nails done for my bestfriend wedding. I did not have her but my friend did, we started our pedicures and to begin with she got upset about us all wanting the same colors, so she spouted off "oh no this won't do" but she made the "exception". We all asked for coconutoveropi, and she secretly (for some odd reason) went and got another color. My friend did not realize until after the fact that it did not match coconutsoveropi and she refused to redo them. I'm not saying do not get your nails done here, but DO NOT get them done by the owner. She will ruin either your nails or your experience if not both. (Drops mic) read more

I walked in without an appointment on a Friday afternoon. I was easily accommodated without much of a wait. I asked for a pedicure and shellac manicure. I was assured The pedi was very relaxing and I got a nice calf massage. I was not so happy with the manicure. I specifically asked before I sat down if they were using CND Shellac and two technicians said yes. Yet, when they pulled out the bottles, it was OPI Gel manicure. I continued with the manicure mainly because I was leaving on a trip the next morning and did not have time to run around looking for another salon on a Friday afternoon. I was pleased with the way the manicure was done and the look of my nails. I just did not like being mislead about the products being used for the treatment.
