Not only did he figure out the problem but also fixed the problem, Kenny didn't change a penny for fixing my firearm so I walked out a very happy and satisfied customer. Stopped by the store today 01/09/26 @ 11:30. Store was closed. This is the second time I've driven over 120 miles to START the transfer paperwork on two rifles won at auction on 12/16/25. The owner cannot be reached by phone, his business hours are an illusion. I have asked Sound Auction for a refund of my over 4K dollars in merchandise. Went in there. Told the guy working that I was completely brand new to guns. Never owned one just been to the range. Told him I wanted something I could conceal carry and be able to handle with ease being that I'm a beginner. He recommends an sig p320 which is notorious for misfires. So I do the background and was told I would be able to pick up by whatever date it was. Anyways I keep calling and leaving messages to see if the gun is available for pickup. I was told I'd get a call but that never happened. Never got any calls back from anyone at KP. Finally had enough so I went in and got the gun. Look elsewhere for new purchases. I placed an order through them in shop for a very common handgun the 3rd week of January. By February 10th, I hadn't received a call so I went to the shop to inquire about the order. Piss poor customer service and was told to call back the next morning. I did, and the number went to a full mailbox. This started the cat and mouse game of calling, showing up, being told it was in the next order, order never arriving, calling, showing up, being lied to, told to call back, blaming their distributor, etc... After 8 weeks I waked in with the receipt and asked for a refund and to cancel the order. They didn't question why, barely acknowledged me, and refunded my card. I honestly don't know if the order war ever placed. Total waste of time dealing with several unprofessional guys at this shop. They clearly could care less about their business. I brought my Glock 21 in for Stipple and Cerekote in November 2024 and was told it would be 2-4 weeks. After about a month I hadn't heard anything and tried calling. They literally never answer the phone nor could I leave a Message as the mailbox was full. I drove up there about an hour drive to be told they weren't sure if my gun was completed. I ended up getting my gun back in April 2025 the cerekote was never completed however on FB messenger I sent a message on there to be told by the owner that the gun was done and in the shop. I show up the stipple is complete also my gun is still completely disassembled so they had to rush into the back and put it back together and now the slide is a little funky when I field strip it so I will probably have to go and take it all apart again and fix it not sure what they did at this point. Brought my G19 in at the beginning of July . Told it would be a couple weeks to get it cerakoted. Waited a couple weeks and called. Got the run around and was told it would be another week. Called back a week later and was told that it would be another week at which point I was frustrated enough. I told them they originally told me it would be only two weeks. They then proceeded to tell me that their guy was the quickest in the industry and it normally takes a couple months anywhere else. They told me they could get me my incomplete gun back if I would like. I said no, just finish the job. Fast forward another week, I go in there and ask about my gun as I was close by. Again I was hit with we are going to pick stuff up at the end of the week...... I just turned around and walked out. This business is a joke. Don't take any of your stuff there. I am all for supporting small local businesses but will never shop here again or recommend this place. In fact I will warn anyone who things they might make a purchase here of my experience. Still no actual update on my gun..... Update 10-20-24 Called last week and still no gun. 2-3 weeks turned into 3 months. Avoid this place at all costs. They still have no update. I told them I just wanted my gun and deposit back and they said they couldn't do that. Worst business I've ever worked with. Update 10-30-24 Walked into shop after multiple times of calling with no answers. My gun had been sitting on the shelf this whole time and had never left the shop to be cerakoted. One of the goons in there said he was here when I came in and told me it was my fault that I had never decided on a color.... Don't you think that would have been their question at phone call on week two or three or maybe the following 20 calls???? This place is an absolute joke. Not to mention no identification was looked at either dropping my firearm off or picking it up. This shop advertises they do gunsmith work, I brought in a new P320 and True Glow sights to be installed. After getting the gun back brought to there attention the denting on sight. They said it happens and does not affect shooting it. I told him it was poor workmanship and wanted it replaced, they refused to replace or refund cost of sight. I implied it will decrease the value of the gun, he replied it was a cheaper gun not a high dollar pistol and don't worry about it. read more

I bought a P320 fire control unit from KP and built a custom gun. They were very helpful at every step of the way and saved me $$$.

Bottom line up front, this is one of the least professional, least accessible and least reliable businesses I have ever dealt with. They do not answer their work phone because "it is one of the employees phones and sometimes they leave it at home" They do not respond to work emails. They consistently provided me with inaccurate information about my order (intentionally or unintentionally, it makes no difference). I bought a suppressor in November 2024. I still have yet to see any proof that it is on the way. There were at least 6 separate occasions when the staff told me "it would arrive within a week". I was also told that the item "was stuck in the FEDEX warehouse". All of this was false. Furthermore, every time I inquired about my item, I was met with unprofessional resistance to include the phrase "if you don't want it, I can just sell it to someone else" Save your money and go to a place with competent, caring workers. read more

Brought in an antique, "expert" said it would be an easy $20 fix after handling it. I have to pester them for two weeks and eventually on call he says it'll be $450 because it's beyond repair, the same guy who looked at it. It is well past the return policy so now I'm out hundreds. i was looking to order a handgun. I was recommended this store by a big box store that couldn't order what I wanted. they said they could get it in a week or two so I paid up front in full. long story short it's been three months and they told me they have no clue where my handgun is... after telling me multiple times " it will be there anytime ". it went on for weeks. finally I was told just to come get me money they had no clue where my gun was. they said a whole order was missing of multiple guns... they said a few times that the owner would call me but he never did. also there background check system in down all the time. they say the hours are Thursday-Saturday. they where closed sometimes two days out of the week. even when it said open. do not wast your time here. I can understand a wait but three months is crazy. when I went to get my money back the owner was there but didn't even come talk to me. I could hear him in the back with some others messing around. it was vary un professional. at one point they said my gun was there but the place is so disorganized and messy they couldn't find anything and had guns all over.... then said my bad your guns not here. I was just vary disappointed in the whole experience and it sounds like a lot of people are. they took themselves off google reviews also. I thought they closed and took my money. vary badly run company even the employees were complaining to me about it... that's not good. read more

Once they have your money they will not return calls or even bother to let you know when your order arrives. You have to badger them for consignment payouts, twice I drove across town to pick up a check they said would be there, it wasn't. I wish I would have read their on line reviews. EDIT: August 1st 2023 - Just picked up my slide, and IT IS PERFECT!! These fellow veterans are professional, down to earth, and do AMAZING WORK!! I will be taking another slide to them for cerakoting! HIGHLY RECOMMEMDED!!! Took my GLOCK slide in for a cerakoting job and was met with nothing but professionalism, polite, down to earth, and well kept and neat shop.
