Andrew showed up in 45 minutes. Snaked a main line from the tank side as there is no access port that we could find and cleared the clog. Price was reasonable and we're very happy with the service. KP Drains was recommended by our usual plumber L&G who we also highly rate. read more

Although KP Drains responded to my request within a short period of time, they are EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. $275 for the first drain, $75 for each additional. The two drains I had cleared were done within one hour. Calling the company to ask for a reconsideration on the bill, gave me a polite response, but no adjustment. read more

I hired KP Drains to clear a kitchen sink clog. While they cleared that line, their work immediately caused a secondary, severe backup in my bathroom - a problem that did not exist before they arrived. Instead of taking responsibility for the shifted blockage, the technician told me he couldn't fix it and advised me to hire an outside plumber. I followed his advice and had to pay a local Watertown plumber $300 in cash for an emergency visit to fix the mess KP Drains left behind. When I reached out to discuss a fair adjustment to the $215 invoice, the office was aggressive, threatened me with collections, and made up details about the second plumber's work that I never even provided. They are refusing to acknowledge the clear link between their work and the immediate secondary failure. Extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability and the high-pressure collection tactics for an incomplete job. I offered to pay 50% as a good-faith settlement, which they have so far ignored. Prospective customers should be aware of their "not our fault" policy if things go wrong. read more

Our sewer line backed up into our driveway. Paul and two of his guys came out and, over two days, worked with my town's DPW to determine that a new telephone pole had punched through and blocked off my connection to the main sewer line. They were hard working and professional. They will definitely be my first call for any other plumbing needs. read more

How refreshing: a plumbing company that is punctual, courteous, competent, and DOESN'T overcharge out the wazoo! We came back from vacation to find our kitchen sink overflowing. The property management company referred us to Drain Doctor, which turned out to be a completely dysfunctional mess (review to come), and then a different person in the same p.m.c. referred us to a different plumbing company which, because they don't do drain work on weekends, referred us to KP Drains. OMFG, what a night and day difference vs Drain Doctor! KP Drains sent out someone within a little over an hour---Andrew was pleasant, professional, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Wish we had just known about KP Drains from the get go, would've saved us a huge PITA. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! read more

We had water coming out of our washing machine drain. Our regular plumber (Skill-Pro Plumbing) referred them to us. We called at 2 and they were able to squeeze us in later. They called us again @ 4 to let us know the office was closing, but we were still on the schedule. Brandon was here about 6:30pm and quickly got to the task of fixing our issue. Got our drains cleared up and running within the hour and didn't charge us the after hours rate. Very pleasant young man. Thank you for your service! read more

Our kitchen sink was backed up, called these guys this morning, back in business this afternoon - and, as it turned out, our sewer line was completely blocked with years of sludge, all gone now. Fast, good price, professional, service with a smile - can't recommend them enough. Particularly Andrew, the guy who came out. read more

Third update! I got to spend some more quality time with Mike from KP Drains on 2/24/22 after my sewer main was completely clogged (picture the horror of flushing the toilet and it coming out the bathroom sink!) Mike appropriately diagnosed the issue within minutes, reassuring me the pipe hadn't broken under the house. Being a new-to-us home, it's getting used to us as much as we are it. The plumbing had what was estimated at a decade+ of toilet paper, women's sanitary products, and rust from the cast iron being changed to PVC above ground. It took two hours to get the drain cleared, but Mike knew exactly what he needed to do and was patient and pleasant while he worked. While I truly hope this is the last time I have Mike at my house for anything other than a beer for a very long time, I know who I'll be calling need be. read more

Hi We used KP Drains on Sunday 7/23. Our plumber Joe Green from Skill Pro recommended them immediately when it was determined we had a huge drain blockage. We called on a Sunday and Mike came out shortly. We can't say enough about Mike having to clean out several drain areas and unclogged our garbage disposal. He did an amazing job and we were up and running happily last night! Thank you. Carol & Mike. read more

I had a problem with a sewer backup at my residence on Saturday morning of the MLK weekend. No plumbers were available to help, but I got a referral to KP Drains. I contacted KP Drains and Mike P. called me shortly after my call for help. Mike said he was very busy with other emergencies, but that he would help me out before the end of the day. During the day he called me twice, each time apologizing for not getting to me yet. He arrived at 9:00 P.M. and by 10:30 he had fixed the immediate problem so we could use the toilet, shower, dishwasher, etc. However, he heard a "gurgling" sound and recommended doing a video inspection of my sewer line to uncover any problems. Sounds invented, huh! I asked him to proceed and he returned the next, Sunday, to discover water in the line from my property out to the town sewer line in the center of the street. Mike and I popped the sewer cover in the center of the street, and he pointed out that there was a blockage where my sewer line tied into the town line. Subsequently I called DPW to no avail. I called KP Drains and Jay reconnected me with Mike who agreed to call DPW. So far, so good. Mike's explanation convinced DPW and the supervisor agreed to open the line at the juncture. I have to call DPW to see if they finished the work last week. The price for the work was reasonable and the service was top notch! I plan to call KP Drains in the future; I recommend you do too. read more

Had a situation the past week which KP drains came out to fix amazingly quickly, we were referred to them by our plumber (Kevin Scott) and their tech came out, fixed the issue, provided tips on how to avoid that situation in the future. The tech was here in less than an hour from calling and our issue resolved quickly. read more

The people at KP are the very best Plumbers I've ever dealt with by far. I've had 3 different pool company's come to my house and just could not figure out why I was getting no suction and nothing but air bubbles. They all had suggestions and theory's, but none of them could fix it. I was referred to KG by a friend. I called them at 8:30 this morning and by 9:30 the man was in my yard looking at it. His name was Mike and he was super nice and professional. Unlike the others who came and did all kinds of test Mike did not give up. He eventually figured it out (small pen hole size leak in the pipe). My water is gushing like never before. Thanks so much Mike and to KP Drains you get a 5 star rating from this guy. read more

Update on my earlier KP Drains review: when I finally resolved my problem - after buying a brand new toilet at KP Drains' recommendation - I learned that if the KP Drains technician had merely turned my toilet upside down, he would have found what I said was likely the source of the problem all along; my autistic sons' eyeglasses. In other words I didn't need a new toilet after all. The paperwork on the technician's work did not indicate the turn-it-upside-down work was done although the person I phoned to discuss this on the phone said he knows this was done, and that the firm stands by its work. Again the firm is well intentioned and responsive, but as a homeowner who isn't a drain or plumbing expert, I rely on the experts to think holistically to solve my problem. Caveat emptor in this case. read more

We had an issue with our bathroom and had to get it fixed ASAP before hosting a Mother's Day feast. Thankfully KP Drains came through for us and saved the day! Highly recommended! read more

We had a clogging problem, worse than the Geico commercial - a DRY clog of paper that had packed into the pipe, who knows how long it had been there. KP Drains sent Andrew, who arrived right away and went to work on our system. He went above and beyond - he would NOT give up. It took a few HOURS to get the pipe clear but he did it, and cleaned up afterward! The two crazy cat ladies in the big purple house THANK YOU so much! In the end - the bill surprised both of us - we thought the charge would be higher! Merry Christmas, Andrew and the rest of the KP Drains crew! read more

When you find your basement flooded, you know it will be a bad day. Then KP Drains comes in and fix it for you quickly and politely. They walked me through the issue and the fix, were done very fast and cleaned up the mess. I cannot tell you how much better they made the whole day. Also, they were recommended by two other companies (one plumber and one other drain company!!) for being fast and not break the bank. Couple of hundred later (honestly significantly cheaper than I expected) and it is all better. Highly recommend. read more
