I would give 3 1/2 stars if I could. This is a very decent place with a friendly staff. It's just a little overpriced for the quality of the food. This place is one of few breakfast places in Myrtle Point, and it's just average. I do like how they give you a whole pot of coffee. We will come back when we visit again next summer!

Wow! The portions are HUGE! We ordered a BLT and a bowl of soup(split pea) so good. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak so big it needs it own plate! Boy, they weren't kidding!3 people can eat from this dish. The gravey is great so is the rest of the breakfast! I love cinnamon rolls and these do not sissy. Not to much frosting! We got a carafe of coffee at our table. The staff was friendly, if you are looking for a fine dining experience, you will be disappointed. It is a Kozy diner and the decor is not pretentious. It's like stepping back in time.

Soft scrambled eggs, crisp hash browns and bacon.

Stopped while traveling through town in our motor home. Found parking on a side street. Excellent breakfast, prepared to our picky specifications. Great service. Would definitely go back!

Do not eat here if you want breakfast for dinner. Dinner cook must not like cooking breakfast because the food was awefull. Wait staff short and rude not much customer service. Used too come here all the time and it has gone downhill. Wife ordered pancakes and got " award winning cinnamon rolls" ....more like a overly sweet nasty pancake. Won't be back again.....

Two words: monte Christo. You're welcome. Otherwise try the bagel sandwich. Small town diner food.

Not greasy and not dried out. Just enough for the 3 of us to get our taste buds going. The elk burger was so tasty and juicy with a flavor that left us craving more. Medium rare with added avocado was the perfect mix. The burger was not so filling that you got the after burger taste and wouldn't have room for anything else. The Marionberry Crisp topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was enough for us to share at the end as well. Headed up perfectly and delicious! The service was great and the wait time was not long to get a table. Outdoor seating is also available and the inside keeps it nice and cozy for small parties or the occasional big family feasts. We'll definitely stop back here again!

Want some weird crusty stuff on top of your clam chowder that makes it hard to eat the clam chowder? Yuppers, they do that too and you get no crackers, which I love to crumble into clam chowder. Fries and garlic bread? Nothing special here either folks. That friend had a half pound burger and found it decent so 2 stars instead of 1 star. Much better seafood can be found on the Oregon coast.

We were seated right away and our waitress gave us window seating so we could have a river view. I told the waitress it was my daughters birthday, hoping they would do something special for her later. We ordered a few drinks and made our food order. It took about 20 minutes before we were served. I ordered the burger and fries. My hubby ordered the fish and chips and my daughter ordered the mac N cheese. Everything looked good, however, my fries were lacking warmth and my burger bun was stale. It was not soft and fresh. I ended up not eating the bun, but just the burger itself. My daughters mac N cheese wasn't as great as she expected either. It was bland and dry. Yes, it had cheese, but it was stringy and not creamy. My husband loved his fish and chips. Hot and fresh and looked amazing. I did have a bite and it did taste really good. Note taken: Do NOT order anything but the fish and chips. When we were finished a new waitress gave us our receipt and asked if we needed anything else. I wanted to tell her we needed more water, but we were ready to go. I wish they would have filled up the carafe of water "before" I was about to leave. And..on top of that...no birthday surprise for my daughter. Some places sing a song or give a small dessert. But nope...not here. Oh well...I think I'll skip this place for any kind birthday celebrations.

Kind of a hip dive bar meets delicious food with a sprinkle of old timers ready to share a story or two with you while you wait. We got burgers, cuz duh... Look at these things!! I got mine with a side salad instead of fries and my friend got the fries. All of it was delicious. There was zero chance either of us were able to finish these monsters so the rest came home with us. The side salad was amazing! Fries were delicious. And the burgers did not disappoint. The guy at the counter was super friendly and everyone in the establishment gave off a friendly vibe. Happy they were the only place open when we were driving through. It took a total of TWO hours and 15 minutes, and that's AFTER we went up to the counter to ask about the pizza progress. No apologies from staff once pizza came. -Food 3/5: Pizza was not bad, just not memorable. It's heavy, but I mean..it's pizza. Their ranch was prob my favorite food item & my family thought the wings were alright. -Ambiance 3/5: It's the exact vibe of what you would expect from a dive bar, but the staff obviously favors locals-only. Tourists may feel like all eyes are on them. Pros: -One of few places for late-night dinner/grub. -Allows you to experience a Port Orford locals' bar spot. -There's karaoke apparently on Saturday nights which may be fun to check out. TLDR: If you do need a late-night spot for food, do not get the pizza...NOT worth the wait. Grab some apps & beers and just enjoy the local bar vibe of Port Orford.

Here's a polished version that keeps your voice but adds a little sparkle:…read more Papa Morgan's is exactly the kind of place we love stumbling across -- a cozy little hole-in-the-wall that just feels right the moment you walk in. We were seated immediately, and our coffee and waters showed up almost instantly (always a great sign ). The place is a bit dated, but in a charming, homey way. I actually loved it -- cute decor and even a small jewelry area to browse while you wait... although "wait" might not even be the right word because the food comes out fast! My husband went with the chicken fried steak, and I ordered French toast from the light menu. We usually split a meal, but today we leaned into both sweet and savory -- and I'm glad we did. Everything was delicious, no complaints at all. Service was quick, friendly, and on point. Our coffee cups never hit empty, which honestly deserves its own gold star. Would I return? Absolutely. This is one of those spots that feels like a local favorite for a reason -- and now it's one of ours too.
