I have never gone to a studio I 100% trust for a quality manicure until Koystudio. The studio space is clean, the staff are friendly, they are INCREDIBLY efficient, and the service is consistent. I've been a regular for a few months and they are fantastic. I literally get complimented on my nails every time I get them done (which have since been able to grow strong since I'm not soaking them in acetone). Love the Koystudio ladies!! Shout out to Hayat and Katy who made the tortoise shell design happen on the day!

This place is a hidden gem. They recently opened not too long ago (3-5 months ago from my knowledge). I came across their location online and booked an appointment before my trip. I usually never find time to get my nails done, but thought about trying a Russian manicure which seemed interesting and very neat/clean. I booked my appointment with a practicing tech because of their availability, but I wouldn't let that steer you away. Their place is somewhat hidden on 47th street surrounded by warehouses, so you really need to look for the address on the door. Luckily a man saw me wandering and pointed to the door. The studio itself is set up beautifully and I think extremely chill and calming. My nail tech was practicing, therefore she was just getting acclimated to the process, but she was good. The person who seemed to be in charge came over to help translate for her and show her how to do certain things, which I thought was nice and helpful. It truly showed she cared about her techs and the business. I think my nails came out nice and I hope they will last 3-4 weeks as they mentioned. Right now, I am pleased with my natural looking nails and if I keep up with getting my nails done, I will be sure to stop by this place again.

I've been to this nail studio 3 times. The 1st was with Dali (amazing experience, highly skilled artist). The 2nd was with Katerina/Katyerna (she did a nice job, took a while but I had a lot of nails needing rehab so understandable and she didn't need to cut any of my nails down). 3rd time I came back to Katerina/Katyerna. I had long nails but I broke one so decided to cut them all down and start regrowing from scratch. I then learned that Katerina is not very experienced with cutting down nails, or perhaps she is just not very well trained. 1st she was drilling so roughly on my nail beds that I audibly reacted in pain not once, but twice. By the third OW I had to ask her to turn down the drill strength (she should have realized this on her own). But then - the worst...she DRILLED into and cut a piece of my hyponychium (the skin that grows under your nail, sometimes it grows longer than your nail). She did this because apparently she didn't check under my nail before just drilling and cutting off the length of my nails. And she drilled/cut them SO short - I have no idea why she was going that short. I cried out in literal pain and then excused myself to the bathroom to take a minute. I then decided that I didn't feel safe/comfortable continuing the appointment with her. Katerina then told the owner (in Russian) that I was complaining that it was hurting. I corrected her and stated that it was hurting because she cut into my skin. The owner did not seem to care in the slightest and simply stated "I don't see any blood." I had to leave with 9 out of 10 nails cut down and unfinished and find an appointment elsewhere on Mother's Day weekend. I messaged the owner afterwards - but still didn't seem to care whatsoever. Terrible experience overall. This place is also in the middle of no where in Queens and is one little tiny room (nothing like their IG makes them look like). There are many other places offering Russian manicures that have better trained technicians and better customer service than this place. Avoid by all means! Check out Lily's Nail Master in Forest Hills or Zegna in Manhattan, both have better selections, better prices, and higher quality staff/management.

Was expecting quality work for the price point and I would give -100 stars if I could. I'm used to receiving quality Russian manicures and thought I'd try here because it's in my neighborhood. BIG MISTAKE! See pictures for what I asked for vs what I got. Not only does it look horrible can you believe this woman was more upset than me when I complained, as if I'm not the one with the ugly nails!! Her justification is that the picture for the IG IS just a picture... Which I said then the picture shouldn't be up there if you can't do the service. If youre looking for good service try russian nails in the city.

Dali was incredible and I loved every second of my manicure! This was my first experience with a Russian gel Manicure and I will definitely be going back.

    Metallic French!

I have been going to Katy at KOYSTUDIO since they opened and will not go anywhere else for my nails. They offer amazing quality Russian manicure/pedicure and such beautiful designs, I don't trust anyone else!

One of the best manicures I've ever had. The work was meticulous and end result was really nice.
