The premium lens was sold to me so I would no longer need glasses. After surgery Doctor Wasserstrom explained the lens used was not strong enough and I would still need glasses. Doctor Wasserstrom's explination, " NOTHING IS EVER PERFECT". I received no refund although a refund was certainly in order. As a patient, you only get one shot at catarract correction; My recommendation, FIND A COMPETENT OPHTHALMOLOGIST.

Surgery was ok, but trying to get prescriptions for 3 different eye drops was a total failure. Supposed to process the prescriptions at our pre op appt one week prior to surgery. No eye drops received. After surgery had to have my Mom sit in a hot car while I stood in line in their office to request drops. After 1st eye was done, they confirmed that several patients experienced this exact problem due to someone in their office being out sick. The next month, when we went back for the 2nd eye pre op, they assured me they had measures in place to make everything go smoothly. Well, EPIC FAILURE AGAIN. No prescriptions received in advance of surgery. Apparently never sent in again. Day of surgery I knew better than to wait in the car. Soi I dropped her at home. After waiting on hold for 47 minutes with Dr office. I decided to go to the office. After speaking with several people, they confirmed the prescriptions were never submitted. REALLY??? I asked them to send to CVS. After u confirmed with them that they had been sent, I headed to CVS. Once arrived, I checked in and CVS had only received 1 prescription. I called the Dr office and they told me that it sometimes take a while for them to be received and processed. They confirmed that all 3 had been sent. After waiting at CVS for almost an hour. I got in line to hear once again only 1 prescription had been received. When I called the Dr office, they figured out 2 prescriptions had been sent to another pharmacy. REALLY? AGAIN? We will not be going back to this office and recommend you find another place that knows what they are doing.

Every staff member greets you with a warm hello and smile. My previous Dr. left to another facility so I had the services performed by Dr. Rachel Inlow and she was nothing short of amazing. she was very detailed and conveyed the information in an easy to understand language. I'll definitely be requesting her for my next annual exam. The fees are very reasonable (I had to pay "out of pocket) and I consider a great value. If you're due for you annual exam I highly recommend Lake Murray Optometric without reservation. Also recently my wife's expensive pair of glasses became damaged (one of the ear piece hinges broke and couldn't be repaired). I brought them to Lake Murray Optometric (where they were purchased) and Des Elsen one of the Opticians said she'd try and get the frames replaced under warranty. She was successful and when the frames were received she sent the frames out for installing the frame lenses. Everything was performed under warranty and with a smile. Thank You Des for saving us hundreds of dollars!

The front desk team is friendly, organized, and efficient -- check-in was quick and they were great about answering my questions and explaining my insurance benefits clearly (which is something I really appreciate). The office itself is clean, bright, and modern. You can tell everything is well maintained and the environment feels calm and professional. They have a great selection of frames -- from stylish everyday options to higher-end brands -- and the staff was patient while I tried multiple pairs. They never rushed me and actually helped me find a frame that fit my face shape perfectly. Dr's there was incredibly thorough with the exam. They took the time to explain each step, showed me images of my retina, and made sure I understood my prescription. It really made me feel like they care about eye health, not just selling glasses. What stood out the most was how personal the service felt. Every person there was kind, attentive, and customer-focused. You just don't get that

I had an eye exam to fit me for contact lens which I have never worn before. The exam was fine but…read moretrying to fit me for the correct lens was a little bit of an issue. She wanted to have me try wearing the lens for a few days before we ordered them and she gave me a sample pair to use first. She left me in the room to try and put the lenses in my eyes on my own while she saw to another patient. After trying for about 10 minutes her assistant came into the room to check me and I was so frustrated that I couldn't get them on and asked for help. Her assistant could not help me she said "she did not know how to put on contacts" so I had to wait for Dr. Lee again. After waiting for the doctor for about 30 minutes she finally came in and put the lenses in my eyes herself and sent me on my way. Told me to practice at home and eventually I would learn. So I left and went home with the samples but without my prescription. After a few times of trying I was able to get the contacts in but my eyes started having issues with watering a lot. I had to go back to Dr. Lee again and she told me I had a plugged eyedrops and gave me some sample medication to fix the issue and sent me off with the samples. Months later I reached out to Dr. Lee wanting to try the contact lenses again so I asked for my prescription. I was going to take and fill the prescription myself rather then go through Dr. Lee's office, I thought they were a little to pricey. She was reluctant to give me my prescription without using her distributor so I agreed to purchase my first 6 month supply thought her for 109.00 and some change. Dr. Lee told me she required that pay for my lens in advance and they would be ready in 2 days. When I went down to pick up my prescription I was giving a container with 3 sets of contact lenses. I told the receptionist I was quoted 6 pairs for 109.00 and told me that the 3 pairs were going to last me 6 months. I asked how long can I wear the lenses for and they said 30 days. I left and when out to my car and did the math and realize I still only had 3 months so I went back inside and requested my money back. They ended up calling Dr. Lee and she spoke to me on the phone and said "her associates did not know the correct information that the contact lenses were good for 5 weeks and that 5 times 3 would give me over 3 months and she would give me samples after that". There is not a 5 week contact lens only a 30 day one and it should be throw out after 30 days. I finally asked her for my money back and she would not give all the money back and she claimed there was a restocking fee and she only gave me 75.00 back out of my 109 I paid for the lens. I am so disappointed in Dr. Lee and I will never recommend her to anyone ever. I think she is very scatterbrained, always tarty, disorganized and I think she is crappy to her staff. Her staff is very nice but I think they take a lot of blame for her mistakes. I wish I would have read some of the reviews on her I would have never of used her I would have gone through my insurance instead, at least I would have gotten my prescription from them immediately after my appointment.

If they tell you 10 days they are lying and they will later admit the same. Now I need bilateral eye surgery. First they make me wait a year--yes, a whole year to get it scheduled. Then they set it for bilateral but do all the work up for just one eye. Then they have to re-do everything to fix their errors. They will call and have you come back for tests they "forgot" to do. But they'll give you call back numbers you can't use--only doctors get to call directly. Patients must use the 800#. If you call the 800# the hold time is an hour. Then they transfer you to ophthalmology and you hold another 45 minutes. This has been my experience three different occasions--so not odd, but Kaiser's normal. When you get through--50% of the time they hang up on you. They don't know the names of the department's technicians so when you ask for say (in my case Crystal) they'll just hang up on you--after you waited for 1.45 hours!!! They won't even give you time to say, "Could you just look up who called and why then?" Nope! They are so RUDE. Eventually you give up and drive in to find out what surgery called about. I found out it was to re-measure my eyes. This is the 4th time to measure them. I wonder if they'll end up operating on my nose vs my eyes. I am truly SCARED. These guys are a bunch of Bozos!

I came back in two months, and I informed him that the drops were depleted a few days ago. He said they only last 24 hours (so naturally my pressure was high). I didn't understand why he had me waste my time (and money). The pharmacist later told me the drops were only a one month supply! He prescribed three bottles this time and told me to return in two months. The next day, I wondered why I should be taking the drops another two months without even knowing if they worked for me. So I called the office and told the lady I needed him to call me. She gave me the usual "one second" a few times, and the last time, I asked how long it'd really be. She said something like five or ten minutes! I asked her to call me back (not sure why she couldn't just give him that message). She never called. The next day, I went through something similar and expected his call. No call. It took a third call (to the office manager) before Dr. Haight was given my message. He called back and said I could return after two weeks. So why didn't he say that in the first place? Now I had to call his officeand change my appointment - another nightmare. More of the "one second", and I waited eleven minutes - then I got a machine. I left a message for a return call. No call from them! Eventually, I sent faxes (twice) cancelling my two month appointment and giving numerous other times I could schedule sooner and giving them the option to respond my phone or email. No response! I'm never going back. By the way, about a week before your appointment, they call you every day or two to remind you. When you ask them to not call so many times next appointment, they say they can't control it.
