This man completely blew me away, with his charm, enthusiasm and TOTAL peace of mind, of his complete medical knowledge.He was "spot on" as the English say. SO I ADDED PROOF IN ADITTION TO THE PHOTO OF THE PATIENT SCREENING ROOM! THE DOCUMENTATION HE SIGNED MADE ME PAY FOR OUT OF POCKET AND NPW REFUSES TO SIGN. Admittedly Dr. Saifi is intelligent, However that does not compensate for his poor bedside manner, personally I left his former practice in La Mesa because his "15 min appointments" after 40 minutes waiting in lobby, consisted of about 3 minutes wherein he asked about 7 questions letting be begin to answer 2-3 before cutting me off and vanishing. His focus appears to be on compensation $$$$$$. It took neatly a month to get any decent response from his new practice, which, in my opinion, adds to the impression that he is a business person with impressive knowledge and experience but a lack of responsibility, respect and concern for his patients. Additionally as I suffer from mental illness I asked for a referral to a specialist who could help me the referral wasn't honored by the providers office. Finally he made me pay cash for the documents he filled out stating a diagnosis of lifetime affliction of my medical condition. Even though it was covered from insurance which he accepted and was already billing. If I'm to understand , he opened this practice in Santee, Ca - 2 years ago. So does that mean as a provider relocates he hasn't any responsibility/ obligation or duty to former patients after practice is closed/ opened elsewhere? An office in La Mesa, Escondido, Santee? How many times has Dr. Saifi thrown out his rolodex?

The young lady at the counter set me up with future appointments and explained everything really clearly. very comfortable with the place. It's rushed, and none of the physicians really seem to want to get to the root cause of an issue? Or else you've done your own research and want to try a medical path with YOUR body but none of the physicians are willing to help? Dr Ortega is different mainly because she LISTENS. She hears your concerns and offers real, actionable, and valuable solutions. Often even ones from her own personal health experiences. Even more, she's willing to listen to things you want to try and doesn't immediately shoot them down. It's like having a friend who happens to have an MD. I can't recommend her enough. Having worked my way through a series of doctors, I'm so grateful to have found her!

Dr. Cheffet was extremely diminishing of parental rights. She was pushy and disrespectful. And eventually threatened me if I wouldn't vaccinate my child in her practice under a vaccine schedule (that is now obsolete). Did you not get your big payout for the percentages of patients you vaccinate??? I might've messed with her percentages so she retaliated by breaking my HIPAA rights and reporting me for " negligence" to CPS. We took my son to her very regularly. He got support for every need. She doesn't respect parental rights. I wouldn't be intimidated by her. We have a medical exemption because my child has a very high allergy Profile, neurodivergent and high risk for adverse reaction.. At one point she said there was no risk in vaccinating so I said I would agree if she would sign to be Financially liable, if there were any adverse effects. of course she refused.... Hack of a "doctor". Deplorable ethics. I hope she gets the karma for all those parents. She intimidated for her big vaccine payouts. She's going out on now. I'm gonna report her to the medical board. If you like the type of doctor that isn't in-n-out, she is the one to see. She takes time to hear out any concerns you or the patient may have and does a thorough examination in order to address those concerns. Dr. Cheffet is also very knowledgeable in sports medicine, although, she is not a sports doctor, she does know what she is talking about. She also is an Internal Medicine doctor. So, if you are looking for a doctor, come see her, she is awesome! Dr. Cheffet is no longer at this practice, but I hear she has relocated to another one still in town. If you're lucky enough to find her you won't regret it.

I came to Dr. Fischer because I was looking to change doctors (not happy with the former one…read morebecause he was more interested in getting folks in and out and used to get pissed off if you delayed his process by asking too many questions or unrelated questions.) - every year in October San Diego Magazine puts out their list of Best Doctors in San Diego and he had made the list twice and was not far away so I decided to go see him. I am happy to see that he has made the list four years in a row now. He does not make you feel rushed and answers any and all questions. He explains things without making you feel like you need to change this and this about your lifestyle, even though it is implied that you really should try to take better care of yourself. He even answers questions unrelated to your situation if asked. His support staff is adequate, not overly friendly but definitely not rude or mean. He also tries to help make prescriptions less costly if he can.
