Dr. Cheffet was extremely diminishing of parental rights. She was pushy and disrespectful. And eventually threatened me if I wouldn't vaccinate my child in her practice under a vaccine schedule (that is now obsolete). Did you not get your big payout for the percentages of patients you vaccinate??? I might've messed with her percentages so she retaliated by breaking my HIPAA rights and reporting me for " negligence" to CPS. We took my son to her very regularly. He got support for every need. She doesn't respect parental rights. I wouldn't be intimidated by her. We have a medical exemption because my child has a very high allergy Profile, neurodivergent and high risk for adverse reaction.. At one point she said there was no risk in vaccinating so I said I would agree if she would sign to be Financially liable, if there were any adverse effects. of course she refused.... Hack of a "doctor". Deplorable ethics. I hope she gets the karma for all those parents. She intimidated for her big vaccine payouts. She's going out on now. I'm gonna report her to the medical board. Gross.

If you like the type of doctor that isn't in-n-out, she is the one to see. She takes time to hear out any concerns you or the patient may have and does a thorough examination in order to address those concerns. Dr. Cheffet is also very knowledgeable in sports medicine, although, she is not a sports doctor, she does know what she is talking about. She also is an Internal Medicine doctor. So, if you are looking for a doctor, come see her, she is awesome! Dr. Cheffet is no longer at this practice, but I hear she has relocated to another one still in town. If you're lucky enough to find her you won't regret it.

In January, I came in for a routine cleaning that's fully covered by my insurance. Instead, I was told I needed a deep cleaning that would cost $600 and they refused to do the standard cleaning my insurance benefit would cover. I couldn't understand why my insurance couldn't be used for something as simple as a regular cleaning, and the whole thing felt suspicious. That experience put me off completely, and I didn't plan on ever going back. Fast forward to today. When an old filling fell out, I was in a rush to be seen and decided to give the office another try, this time scheduling with a different dentist hoping it would be a better experience. Unfortunately, it was more of the same. I was quoted $1,300 for multiple "recommended" procedures that seemed excessive. Something didn't feel right, so I got a second opinion from another dentist the same day who fixed the problem for $190 and confirmed that none of those extra treatments (or the "deep cleaning" they pushed earlier this year) were necessary. It is clear that this office operates with an aggressive upselling mindset, not patient care. Please do your research and go elsewhere. There are plenty of honest, trustworthy dentists in the area who will treat you ethically and won't try to take advantage of you.

Well, I finally have health insurance for the first time in about five years. Strangely enough,…read moreabout 2 weeks after electing an HMO plan and choosing Dr. Nawroski-Wozniak as my primary care provider, I began experiencing panic attacks. The first one happened while driving and I was convinced it was a reaction to the stress of my recent car accident, later in the week, I had one at the gym and then one on a smoke break at work. I called the Dr. and made an appointment only to be told I would have to wait two weeks. The attacks became more and more frequent and I was convinced I was dying. I called the doctor's office multiple times in attempt to see the doctor, hoping for a cancellation. Each time I called the receptionist informed me that the doctor was totally booked. The day of my appointment finally came and I was so relieved. I had to work in the morning in downtown so I gave myself about 30 minutes to go to the doctor's office (in city heights). I parked in their parking lot and entered the strange, large office. I signed my name on a clipboard and took a seat. There was a totally made up blond perfectly coiffed lady behind the front desk who paid me no attention. I was the only English speaker in the office it seems and it was interesting to hear the different African dialects being spoken along with some Russian and Polish I believe. That was cool, I dig diversity. The lady behind the counter kept asking folks if they had an appointment. Although they responded no, they still put their names on the clip board and were seen promptly. I was left to wait until the lady finally asked if I was new. I responded yes and she gave me some standard papers to fill out and I paid my 10 dollar co payment. I was then weighed ( with my purse and boots still on) by a nurse (I'm assuming) who was listening to her ipod. She also took my blood pressure with that Ipod still on. I was left in the room for nearly 45 minutes until I hear someone muttering "now, where is that young girl?" In walks the Dr. who happened to be the blond woman. She has a thick accent. I tell her about my anxiety and she tells me I need to relax and focus on my breathing. Then, she decides to change my birth control pills and proceeds to tell me about her daughter for a good 10 minutes. I ask her if she thinks I need blood work, she tells me I need to stop stressing. She writes me a prescription for xanax, telling me; "It's easy for me to write the prescriptions, you don't want to be medicated, just take deep breaths." I mention my migraines to her, out comes another prescription, this one for maxalt. I am so frustrated at this point, I can't even argue with her. I take my hand full of prescriptions to the pharmacy and vow to find another doctor for a second opinion. The icing on the cake, I take my birth control prescription to the CVS on 32nd and they won't fill it because the Dr. forgot to sign it. Absurd. Staff was rude and unaccommodating and I don't recommend ANYONE ever go there!

This doctor's office is absolutely the worst clinic that I have ever been to. Aside from the…read moresketchy neighborhood and the dirty facility, the staff itself was beyond unprofessional and unaccommodating. I cannot speak much on the doctor's behalf, due in large part to the fact that my consult with her consisted of about 5 minutes, after over an hour long wait!!! A week prior, I scheduled a new client exam and had my medical records & insurance information transferred from my previous physician in Texas,, unfortunately being a responsible client and actually coming to this office prepared does not pay off. Upon arriving 15 minutes early to the first appointment slot of the day( as asked), I was forced to sit outside in my car for 20 minutes until the doors were finally opened. When entering the clinic I was not greeted, and had the pleasure of hearing the staff curse and degrade the doctor and her work ethic(shocking considering the staff's unprofessional manner themselves). Working in the medical field myself, I was absolutely appalled and in shock. I should have taken this as the first warning sign, but tried to give the clinic benefit of the doubt. After waiting for the first 30 minutes, I was then rudely told for the entire lobby to hear, that my insurance information needed to be changed. The irritating part, other than my violation of privacy, was the fact that I had my information faxed over a week prior and was told by the clinic everything was in order. Apparently the staff was too lazy to actually verify that everything I needed was faxed over. I then spoke to my insurance and cleared up the issue immediately, and then proceeded to wait another 30+ minutes until the doctor decided to grace us with her presence. My consult with the doctor lasted no longer than 5 minutes and I was given a referral to a dermatologist like I asked. I also requested a new prescription for birth control and was told I would need to come back to pick up a written Rx on another day. Inconvenient, however I agreed and figured I would come back the next day. The following day I called to pick up my prescription however it was not documented and there was not an Rx waiting for me. Needless to say, the overall experience with this doctor left a poor taste in my mouth. The staff was unprofessional, unorganized and uninviting. I would never come back to this clinic again, I'd rather visit an ER and pay the difference in price. Be warned, stay away from this clinic!
