When she asked about going short on the sides, I clarified again that I wanted the top left long. The sides were taken much higher than expected, and once she started cutting the top, there was no saving it. The length I had been growing out for a year was gone within seconds. Afterward, she asked, "How does it look?" I said, "I wanted it longer on top." She responded, "Oh, I thought you wanted it as short as possible so I kept going shorter and shorter." That was never communicated. Now I've got an Avatar Aang and not a Saja Boy! Not cool. I understand my toddler was crying and moving, but this was not just a difficult haircut--it was a clear misunderstanding of a very specific request, even with a reference photo. The layers were extremely uneven and did not blend or connect properly. The haircut looked rough and unfinished, and we ended up having to go to another salon immediately to have it corrected. Unfortunately, so much needed to be fixed that we had to cut off much more length than we originally wanted. I understand mistakes can happen, but this was not the quality of work I expected.

Wasn't sure what to except since there was only 1 woman working the store but we were the only customers so we got seated pretty quickly. Was nervous at first since she had some difficulty checking us in. Not her fault though since the check-in system was kind of confusing and they were having some internet trouble (the AT&T guy was walking in and out of the store getting things going). During his haircut, she was very calm and cheerful with him. Had some toy dinosaurs he could play with since the TVs/IPads were down due to the internet troubles.
