Had my daughter's birthday party here. She loved it. The only thing is that it was a bit chaotic when we got there since another birthday party was still going on. The 3 girls that did the hair and make up were great. I was over charged on gratuity with they ended up fixing after I called so make sure to double check your receipts. read more

What a cute place for the littles! My 5 year old wanted to get her nails painted so I took her here for her birthday. Walking in, it looks like a Lisa Frank store came to life haha. The ladies were very friendly and were good with relating with my kiddo. Seems like they have a lot of offerings in the salon including pedis and hair dos. There was also a runway that I'm assuming they use for parties. The mani my daughter got was age appropriate which is exactly what I was looking for! read more

I made a review and I no longer see it so I think they deleted it maybe I'm not sure. Do not send your kids here especially if you have a child of color with more "textured" hair as they say. The stylist was not good and started increasing the price and I refused it. She did the wash and we left. I came here before and the price was not increased. The stylist was rude and complained the entire time doing my daughter's hair. She was the only stylist that was black and was supposed to be the expert. Never again the energy was off and I will not be back. Please hire more people of color and stop charging more for kids of color. Make it one charge and stop increasing it when it seems to difficult for you. read more

If you plan to call the salon, sometimes you won't be able to get through with someone, leave a voicemail and they will return your call. The service on line was a little confusing for me and also my service was a little complicated. Thank you Esther for taking your time to help set up my appointment. A few days before my appointment, we found out we had to reschedule and they were able to assist me on rescheduling on such short notice. I did a makeover package for my 2 nieces to join us for my daughters birthday. I wanted a haircut on top of a makeover my daughter as well, so that's where it got kinda confusing. But the staff was able to make it work and very accommodating. I saw 2 birthday parties and all the kids look like they had fun. Staff wore masks and the sanitation I saw with my daughter's haircut, makeup application. They also do ear piercing. I know we can just do our own spa day at home, but this is something nice a little girl would love. And be prepared for allll that hair glitter. read more

I went today with my 4 year old and we did the Diva for a day package , and it was so awesome! Lola and Kim did such an amazing job making my daughter feel comfortable! She is very shy and she was loving all the pampering ! Lola cut and styled my daughters hair and left it so beautiful! Kim did my daughter manicure make up and glitter tattoo and it was so cute !!! They made the whole experience for me and my daughter so amazing , we will definitely be coming back ! read more

A bit disappointed with this place. My daughter attended a Camp there and the hair do wasn't great (something I could do myself at home), same with the make up. The team seem disorganized and unprofessional. At the end they did a raffle and only 1 girl won a toy and of course the other girls were upset, they should have a small gift or party favor for each kid. The place has potential, I will probably go back to give it another chance as my girl liked it. read more

Sweet &Sassy in Fulshear/West Katy is such a princess's dream! I took my girls for some daddy/daughters' fun date and they definitely felt pampered! I've been hunting for a good place to get my 9-year old's hair cut, and I think this is a winner! Lola did a fantastic cut for her, and she's so sweet and patient. She really made sure she knew what we wanted and the cut was perfect. I really love the concept of this place, it's good salon-quality services but kid prices. My daughter really loved the place and wants to come back for haircuts and to get her nails done next time. She's a tough critic, so that says a lot. read more

I haven't been to sweet and sassy since i was in elementary school and i graduated high school last year. safe to say it was still just as magical of an experience. i stopped by on an impulse decision to get my ears pierced and the girl up front was busy doing this girls hair and you could tell she was having the time of her life, the girl was amazing with the kids and she did an absolutely amazing job piercing my ears i could never have been happier!! thank you Addie Nowak, i had the best time !! read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I took my daughter in for her haircut and the lady missed some spots so I had to bring her back to fix it... she didn't fix she botched it up and kept cutting we left with 4-5 inches less of hair. I had to tell her to STOP! She told me she would need to trim/cut it a little to even it out well she screwed up big time and kept cutting until I told her to stop. I have pictures!! Just don't think I can post them . I do NOT recommend this place for haircuts and will NOT be going back for any events or anything! My daughter is devastated! To her her hair was everything she loved long hair and yes she knows it will grow back eventually but it doesn't make it any better! read more

My daughter had a party here 9/9 the girls as soon as we arrived were very helpful and nice in helping me set up and telling me where would be best to put everything. The girls did their make-up and hair so beautiful once it was time for cake the table was set up so nice so everyone can set together. They provided great service and made sure the party went on point to meet all of our expectations. I would definitely Recommend this location if you want that "personal touch" from the staff and for any event for a girl's special day. My daughter had the best time ever! She was treated like a princess and she absolutely loved every minute. Our stylist CC was so amazing, patient, and loving with her. CC went above and beyond to make my daughters experience a great one. With the city shutting down and everything closed it isn't a great birthday but sweet and sassy helped make her birthday special. The industry standard for adults is to notify them the day before they have an appointment. Not five minutes after they are 30 minutes away and late. They didn't charge me for the full session and told me that it was going to be a $10 additional charge to "reschedule". While I understand that it is the clients responsibility to manage their schedule. It is also good business to make sure that the client knows they're supposed to show up, especially when it is the industry standard for adults. While it is not fraud, it is unethical and while perfectly legal genuinely feels like it for the customer. They will not be getting any more of my money, and I do not recommend in any capacity. read more

We went in for a haircut and style for my 9 year old daughter. We could not have been more pleased with the final result. Great haircut and beautiful braids (and my daughter doesn't like her her hair styled, she's got a sensitive scalp and complains when I brush it out-much less put a braid in it). But, my daughter didn't complain at all and she loved her cute hairstyle. According to our reservation, the stylists name was Brittany and I highly recommend her! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT HAVE A BIRTHDAY PARTY HERE!!! My daughter has been talking about her 6th birthday party for months. we even got the pink limo. They didn't have enough workers to girls. The girls at the party started to cry and get upset because it was taking so long. The ones that where working the party didn't engage much with the girls. Did one dance. It was a completely different experience from when I worked their 10 years ago. Upon arrival I was informed the limo was 10 minutes late. no big deal. Then the time increased. We ended up leaving the party because it was now over a hour late and the girls where over it. Once back to my house I had to call 5x to check on the limo that all 10 girls where eager for. The limo ended up being about 2 hours late. It was also hot, disgusting, and smelled of cigarette smoke. The girls listened to the CD once and then actually fell asleep on the limo. They all wanted to go home because it was miserable. read more

We had the best time at my daughter's 10th birthday party at Sweet and Sassy. She opted for the spa party with 10 of her friends and cousins ranging in ages of 3-10. The staff was patient in dealing with the little girls and made each of them feel special. They were very accommodating with a few late arrivals to my party and everyone received excellent service. We took our daughter here for her birthday and she absolutely loved it. The staff is so unbelievably friendly. They went above and beyond to make her feel special. This place is amazing!!! My daughter is 5 and autistic. I booked a 2.5 hr camp during spring break. It was the tea party with Belle. I called in advanced to make sure I could stay with my daughter since she's very limited verbally and has different needs than the other girls. The staff was extremely accommodating and just the sweetest. They were so perfect with my daughter and made her & I feel so comfortable. It's rare to find any establishment that treats kids on the spectrum as well as this place does. For that reason alone I will regularly bring my daughter here from now on. They even ran after us when we were leaving to redo her hair because it started coming undone since she was rolling on the floor lol. The limo is also such a cute addition, my daughter had a blast. This place is just the best and I was honestly blown away by the customer service. read more

I set up a nail appointment (last minute) for my daughter's 3rd birthday recently and, even though they were very busy that day, they fit her in and made her feel incredibly special. They even fit her in for a hair braid while we were there. Can't thank them enough. It was so very special and great memory for me. I booked a princess party for my granddaughter with a round trip limo ride. The party was great, the employees were excellent, had no issues with the host what so ever, they did an awesome job with entertaining some young children. The limo ride on the other hand was miserable. It was not what was expected in any means. I was under the impression they would be playing some music for my grand daughter and her party on the trip to and from and that was not what happened. While the driver was in front jamming we were in the back with nothing but a hot limo ride. I do not recommend anyone to rent the limo, it's not worth it! read more

What a wonderful time we had here! The owner is super cheerful and sweet and the salon is wonderfully decorated and organized. We were only there to get a piercing but a party was going on and it looked like the girls were really having fun. Definitely a preferred option for ear piercings(or double, if you're older) as they are effectively exercising COVID-19 health and safety standards. read more

There were three stylists working at the time, and about two people waiting. After the first group of kids were done, then they all got second group of kids. We waited till 11:47, as all three of the second group of kids finished, but they all called someone else to be the third group. So I went to the lady of the front desk and asked her why is it not our turn after 3 groups as our time was 11:30. She was fine at first as she went, "Sorry we are backed up today, its not your turn." I said "but...." as I was about to ask what time we should expect to get a haircut. She went "No you can't even get mad, you should just wait patiently like everyone else." Funny, I wasnt even mad, but the way you are saying like commanding us what to do is at least frustrating. You are the one who put us down at 11:30, if you were so booked you couldve told us it's gonna be 12 or later, and I wouldve happily left and went to 100 other haircut place with cheaper rate and better service instead wasting 40 min. If I just waited patiently until unforeseen time like you said, both my kid and I would be starving till probably at least 2pm. Plus, your price went from 80$ for 5 around 5 years ago to 92$ for 4. With your rate I can get 2-3 haircuts for my kids without wasting time. Only reason I came back was my sons request, and that we had good exp before. Highly NOT recommend. Wonder why you have so many one star reviews the last three years?

I came here with my sister, who has been a loyal customer for over two years, and unfortunately, our most recent visit left a bad impression due to the unprofessional behavior of one of your stylists. As small business owners ourselves, we know how important it is to treat customers with respect--especially loyal ones. This experience did not reflect that standard. To the owners and management: it is important to ensure your staff are properly trained in both communication and customer service. Clear language skills and professionalism are essential in this industry. Also, not every customer is looking for discounts or free services--we are simply looking for quality work and respectful treatment. During this visit, my sister's beautiful hair was shaved in the back with a razor to correct a cut that had been done too short. Using a razor in that way on a woman's hair is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. We understand that mistakes happen. We are all human, and sometimes language barriers or misunderstandings occur. However, what matters most is how those situations are handled--with kindness, accountability, and respect. This is a business that charges premium prices, and with that comes the responsibility to train and guide staff on how to properly interact with customers. We are not asking for refunds or free services. What we expect is acknowledgment, empathy, and clear communication about next steps--instead of being immediately asked to remove a negative review in exchange for a free fix. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and uses it to improve the customer experience moving forward.

With back-to-school season in full swing, appointments were limited, but I was able to snag one for my son with Omar. Omar gave him an awesome drop fade that my son absolutely loved. The shop itself is clean, well-kept, and has a great vibe. What really stood out was how friendly and patient the staff were with all the kids in the shop -- they really know how to make the experience fun and comfortable. So glad we found a great barber so quickly. That's no small feat! We'll definitely be regulars.
