When you are a stylist, your clients expect not only professional skills, but also clear and respectful communication. I came here with my sister, who has been a loyal customer for over two years, and unfortunately, our most recent visit left a bad impression due to the unprofessional behavior of one of your stylists. As small business owners ourselves, we know how important it is to treat customers with respect--especially loyal ones. This experience did not reflect that standard. To the owners and management: it is important to ensure your staff are properly trained in both communication and customer service. Clear language skills and professionalism are essential in this industry. Also, not every customer is looking for discounts or free services--we are simply looking for quality work and respectful treatment. During this visit, my sister's beautiful hair was shaved in the back with a razor to correct a cut that had been done too short. Using a razor in that way on a woman's hair is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. We understand that mistakes happen. We are all human, and sometimes language barriers or misunderstandings occur. However, what matters most is how those situations are handled--with kindness, accountability, and respect. This is a business that charges premium prices, and with that comes the responsibility to train and guide staff on how to properly interact with customers. We are not asking for refunds or free services. What we expect is acknowledgment, empathy, and clear communication about next steps--instead of being immediately asked to remove a negative review in exchange for a free fix. Everyone is super friendly here. This is based solely off of the cut I received. My mom and I had been looking for a good place to get our hair cut. Located near my favorite area in Katy, we had to try this highly rated hair salon. I wanted a trim and a bit of layering with curtain bangs. While I somewhat got what I was looking for, both my mom and I noticed after leaving and letting our hair settle that they went TO TOWN with the thinning shears. Both of us left with A LOT of hair gone and very thin. We didn't love it. Many may be into that style but we weren't 100% a fan. While we did get a trim and layers our hair was very thin and felt too much was cut with the thinning shears. read more

I requested a trim and blow out. I have curly hair so I was a bit worried they wouldn't know how to do my hair or trim too much off. I noticed she cut my hair wet which is always a huge no for curly hair but to my surprise she did a fantastic job. She kept my layers and only cut off the dead ends and did a great job keeping my hair length. This is my first time coming to this hair salon and i loved it! i asked for light layers, face framing pieces, and wash. I love how the place looks, it has that kind of modern look. My hair stylist was very kind and understanding, & gentle. The service was great and it only took about an hour for the whole thing (cut, wash, styling). The reason i give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because i did receive some criticism for my "large" forehead and getting a women's cut when i am under 18. But overall, i'd definitely reccomend this hair salon if you're looking for professional and experienced hair stylists. read more

Justin did an amazing job on my hair. I got a v cut and did the keratin treatment because my hair was just doing the most for absolutely no reason. It was so dry, super frizzy, and starting to break. I've never colored it and I hardly heat style it so I'm not sure what its deal was. I made an appointment for 4pm not realizing that the keratin treatment takes awhile. Mind you, I have a lot of hair. Like...A LOT. It took us 4 hours for everything (most of it was the Keratin treatment). We were there even after they closed and most of the other hairdressers had left. Not once did Justin seem like he was rushing the process. He was so thorough and sweet throughout. Right now I can't wash my hair (3 days for the Keratin to do its thing) but once I can, I'll update with a photo. But immediate impression, my hair is so silky smooth. read more

Kevin did an amazing job on my hair! He took his time to make it look like the reference I showed him and really brought life back to my hair. I got 6-8 inches cut off and asked for layers. For shampoo, blowout, haircut for long hair, and styling it was $70. I've never felt this happy after getting my hair cut before and will be returning in the future. read more

Having been in Katy now for a couple years, decided to find someone local. I made an appointment with Kim as I seen her name on a few reviews. She was fantastic. I also got the deep oil treatment. I freaking love Kim! I have a stylist that I go to for my bayalage but I when I was feeling abit adventurous I went to Kim to get my hair red. Kim always makes sure that the most important thing is the integrity of your hair. She never tries to upsell me or is pushy about any products. My hair felt really good after she was done and I also got a treatment after. I also really love getting my haircuts from Kim as well. I only trust her with my cuts. My dad also gets his haircuts from Kim as well! The salon itself is very clean & modern. The other stylists there also look very talented. My dad usually gets his haircuts here ever since they opened in Katy! Service is always so friendly and welcoming. The establishment is also very clean and well-kept. It has a modern vibe to it. I came in recently for a healthy trim on my hair and Kim was the one who helped me out. I was able to call ahead and get in the same day. I recommend scheduling an appointment because they get booked fairly quickly. Everything went well, cut came out very nice and Kim was able to make my hair look healthier! June 19th the day of reckoning, I got to say that was the worst experience I have ever had with a hair place, sports cuts was better, super clips was better, any of the cuts or clips were better than this. Do NOT get the dude with the bleached hair, didn't bother to get a name out of him because I was so disappointed. I gave the person 4 different photo angles for a taper fade, and he then began to give me a bowl cut, with no fading, just straight bowl. I don't normally leave reviews for anything, but this is a next level of bs. I literally had to make an account just to give this hair studio a review. The only thing that was okay about it was that they tried to fix it. But it shouldn't have been a problem anyway. Disappointed, too bad i cant give 0 stars. I tried this salon a couple days ago and I loved the hair cut and styling they did. honestly one of the best places I've ever gotten a hair cut. went back today for color and I'm now in tears. I went in with photos of the color I wanted, a dark maroon/burgundy. the stylist helped me pick a close matching color from their book. it wasn't exact but it was close. well they started by bleaching my hair then colored it the wrong color (a super bright and light pinkish purple). they then tried fixing it. it's now a super bright burgundy (much closer to the shade I wanted but still super bright). they offered to make it darker next week when I have off again, but at the same time kept blaming me for that first color. But the real reason I'm in tears is due to the extreme pain of the chemical burns on my scalp from this situation. blisters have formed and I'm waiting on my bf to take a look as he's a dr so he can advise if I need to seek medical treatment read more
