It is reasonably priced if it cost remains consistent. Cost 6 months ago was $25 and 6 months before that...$15. That's over 100% increase in 1 year! Is this normal? Love the haircut, and she's great, but I hope it doesn't go up $10 every time I visit, or I'll have to find a new place. I wish prices were more transparent and posted to avoid surprises or feeling like prices fluctuate oddly. I guess it's my fault for assuming it would be the same. I go here, my mom, my best friend, her mom, her grandma and now even my boyfriend. This is the best place ever! My friend needed a hair cut bad, and someone took her to get a fancy $80 hair cut which she hated, and somehow Hai fixed it! I was with her and the layers were horrible, I thought there was no way to fix it with out her having super short hair! But Hai layered it correctly! She is amazing! I have spent over $50 at other places and they never do as good as her! Her prices are awesome! Usually about $20 to $25 depending on how much hair you have. Sounds silly, but I know I have tons of hair and she cuts it right so I don't mind. When I can afford it I like to tip her 50% bc any other place would be more than that. Rich and Soo are both incredibly skilled hair artists. They trained in Korea, and know all the new hair techniques and use the best brands for straight perms. I've been following them since Dallas a few years ago after spending $$$ on a straight perm in Austin. I have driven to Dallas and now Houston just to get my hair done by them. They're also super kind and sweet! He offered me part of his lunch bc my straight perm took 3.5 hours. ;)Soo is good at layering. They're both great, honestly! I went to get a new set of acrylic nails done two bails started to pop off after 6 days Miintia did my nails and told me to come back in then she tried to say we'll it's been two weeks I told her no I could show her that our appointment on my phone it's been a week she repaired them and went home the next day 2 more popped off after that 2 more I had to go somewhere else and have them all re done now they are much better don't bother with this place read more

I've been going to Hai for years now, after being referred to her by my sister. Since that time, I too have referred several people to her, who have all remained as customers to this day. Presently, my other sister, husband, children, best friend and her husband and children get their haircut at Paris Hair! She cuts my hair quickly, but PERFECTLY every time. Don't you hate leaving a hair salon only to see pieces that were not cut properly? THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME AT PARIS HAIR. I get my hair colored and cut there every time and have never had a regret. I've noticed that Hai cuts most hair dry, which is not common, but actually makes for a better hair cut. She colors my hair, washes and conditions it, then dries and flat irons it, THEN she cuts it and puts finishing touches on the styling. PERFECT HAIR EVERY TIME! I went during covid 19 and had an appointment. When I arrived there was 5 customers waiting. Two assistants blow drying two guests, one getting her hair cut and two of us waiting. She gave the woman in the chair an amazing haircut and everyone left looking great! I called in advance and asked if price included a wash and blow dry. They said yes. When it was my turn a gentleman straightened my hair with a flatiron and she then cut my hair dry. She took little, little care or time with me. I entered with long, overgrown hair and basically left with long, overwhelming and heavy hair. I also left with dirty hair. I don't straighten so I left with an odd look. When you leave the salon you should have had your hair freshly washed and blown out and feel good about your experience. I wanted a great cut and it seemed she snipped a bit around the face and ends. I didn't realize how dissatisfied I was until I washed it and dried it myself. She didn't do any layers, nothing. I left a generous 45 percent tip and won't be back. I think she does nice work but I'm guessing she was in a hurry to get to the woman next to me? I'm not sure. The salon is a bit of a dump and it's not my vibe. The stylist was friendly and I wish I could have experienced a great cut. Now I need to cut it after a week. Disappointed! read more

When your hair stylist Hai failed you after 10 years of trusting her!! I been going to this salon for over a decade 3-4 times a year. 13-15 years ago tgis salon had 6-8 hairdressers to start now just only one, that's Hai. I been using her & trusted her with my hair for over a decade. Last few years it has felt a bit of a rush job. I've always had the same style hair & trim. Few weeks ago I went had my roots touched up & wanted her to trim the bleach blondes separate from my lower dark hair, cause I just recently retouched it dark. I didn't want any dark hair trimmed with the bleach blondes. Hai knows I do not like hair to my chest area cause it bothers my skin. She chopped not trimmed my blondes by 6 inches, making it look like the dark hair looks like hair extensions!! I texted her I didn't like it that same night , no response but shows she read it. Texted her following week after cause I'm upset she butchered me, that she will not see me again. She didn't have any remorse . Her only response was "You wanna blonde blend in to the black! That what you told me!" that's her response . Then blocks me! No Hai my hair do not look like it's blended in. Everyone is shocked you f my hair up. . She knows I work with 18-60 year old females , I've even sent my friends & co workers there , she never even thanked me! Hai , you need to clean up your salon , it's getting dingy!! I made an appointment with Pari for myself and my daughter. I paid $550 and there are chunks of my hair not colored or highlighted. I returned several days later asking for a refund and Pari said she doesnt give refunds but would be willing to "fix" my hair. I refused as is my right as a customer and she refused to give me my money back, yelling at me instead. Never apologizing for the horrible incompetent dye job. Wasting more of my time now because I absolutely will be filling a small claims lawsuit. This is unprofessional and will not stand. Did I mention that I am a terminal disabled American veteran? Pari doesnt care because I gave her that information before she refused for the last time to refund me for services not rendered. See you in court. I believe this is the most unprofessional, incompetent hair salon to open its doors in Katy or the Houston area. I am so disappointed with Pari's hostile and unprofessional attitude. I been going to Hi for over 6 years and the 1st 3/4 years were wonderful she can cut so good but her color can vary sometimes I love it sometimes I hate it others but I just went a week ago a couple days before Christmas so my hair looked good for pictures and seeing lots of family and needed my highlights re done well I always call and set an apt a head of time I never just walk in. While she was doing my color 3 different girls walk in with no apt and asked for cut and highlights and normal you would think well what's the problem well she's the only one there that does cut and color so she put me under dryer and rushed my highlights so she could start working of the other 3 girls plus 3 men all waiting on just her. So I get rushed out of that then sit under dryer get my color washed out by her husband that helps when she's over booked like that and then after he washed my hair he started to brush my hair and when I say he ripped through my hair that makes it sound nice I wanted to scream he didn't try to take his time and then he finished ripping through my hair and blow drying and straightening it she came and cut my hair in 2 mins and my hair is 2 my butt so that should tell you that cutting hair that long shouldn't take 3 mins but after she finished I noticed half my hair was broken not at bottom on of my beautiful long hair that I took a long to grow but at the top of hair so it's no even like cutting off the ripped hair would help and this wasn't the 1st time I've gone and she's been so over booked and rushed through people I payed 100'plus to get my hair ripped through and broken off then at the end she said your hair is broken Buy coconut oil. I wanted to said yes it's because your over booked and your husband felt rushed and ripped through my hair is why it's broken but she had about 8 people in the shop so I just said okay and left and wanted to cry. my hair wasn't broken before and I had one single hair before that was broken probably buy her (since she had been the only one to touch my hair in years ) but I had let it grown out and I was so happy about that now I have so many broken hair I can't even count. I know this rush thing has happened the past 4 or 5 times I went but I kept going back because it wasn't always like that and I hoped it would change and now I wish I never went to get my hair done. I will never ever go back again! I'm so upset I'm more than just a pay check and she rushed me like she wanted to kick me out.
