Mia the front end manager was very gracious and attempted to rectify the wrong that seemed to have been directed at me but the "trim ring" had disappeared! sad state of customer NO SERVICE!

The guy at the counter did an extensive search for the door I needed and found out they don't make the particular door I needed. I won't go back to this company.

Went into Central Supply looking for some help with a bad smell to our hot water coming from our…read morehot water heater. I was told to get a Zinc Anode Rod to kill the smell from our hot water. I purchased this rod, per their recommendation, installed it and the smell got so much worse....practically unbearable anytime we ran the hot water. I decided to give it some time, but, the smell kept getting worse. Finally, I removed the Anode Rod and took it back to Central supply wanting either a refund or exchange for a new rod. They would NOT do either. I am out the money. This company will NOT stand behind their products. I went home and put a plug into the water heater, instead of using the rod, and the smell was almost gone! Talked with the owners of a Well drilling company and Septic company, both told us that Anode rods make water smell worse, and to leave them out. The reason for the Anode rod is to trap bacteria and sediment to help keep the hot water heater from corrosion. Everyone we have spoken to since this situation, said their water heaters did fine without them. However, a person would need to use a rod the first 5 years after purchasing a hot water heater or the manufacturers of the water heaters will void the warranty. Ours is 5 years old, so we will not use an anode rod ever again, nor will we ever do business again with Central Supply.

Was happy with initial install of granite even though I paid higher than the estimate (explained…read morebelow). Took longer than expected and was never quite sure when they would be here until a call to say they were on the way. They quoted me a great price to do my back splash and flooring so we went ahead do a few extra with our kitchen which is why we ended up paying more. Fine. Except they never came back to do my floor or back splash. I called once and they would get back with me. They called a couple of mornings later to say they were sending out some random guy that we haven't been working with, and on top of that we were all sick with the flu. I wasn't a good day. Asked if they could call me with another day when the guy that was doing our job was available. Didn't hear anything for over a week. I called back got an apology and was told they would look at the schedule and call me back....6+weeks later, nada! They took the money for the granite install and left my kitchen without a back splash and my floor tore up from where my counters were re-positioned. Totally bummed. Apparently they don't need business. I was completely patient and accommodating. Residential customers are shoved behind corporate/builder jobs!

I tried to give it back to one of the Do It Best stores and they said they couldn't take it back, but they gave me a 20% discount on the replacement hose. So, I bought the replacement hose thinking I just got a lemon on the previous hose. Well, last year the hose started to kink. They had great service and had no complaints. Tips are how servers pay their bills. Do it Best is planning on opening a new location in the new GE building, and by the way their HR department treats the people who serve them, my prior optimism has completely dissolved.
