I used to frequent this restaurant with my family, but never again. We have always brought my little one with us and we were welcomed. The waiter even brought complimentary gelato for the babe. That was my experience until today. I went to meet a friend for light bites and a drink, and my 1.5 year old came with. She was well behaved, and many around the restaurant including the waiter were interacting with her in a positive manner. She was giggling and having a blast until she bumped her head, which cause her to cry for less than a minute. It was that moment when the waiter came up to us and stated that they were receiving complaints of the baby "screaming", and I was gently nudged to leave. Oh, and there were also 3 other lovely mama's their too with their littles who stated their kiddos were being noisy and how well behaved mine was.... If you are a parent, think twice. Families not welcome despite their website stating they are. read more

The cheese board, wine list, and pizzas were delicious. The ambiance and waitstaff were super. We were very disappointed at the lack of gluten free options. I can't remember the last place of this caliber that didn't offer gf pizzas. Sadly, that makes it unlikely that we'll be back. read more

Great wine and cheese boards. Don't recommend full dinner there unless you're ok with pizza night! Pizzas great! Great service too! read more

First time last week. They have a nice food menu, which isn't always the case at a wine bar Great service. Wine was very nice and a nice variety Only con would be Atmosphere is bland. read more

Dropped in for an appetizer and drinks on a date night with my wife. Ordered a couple glasses of wine and the charcuterie board. They had many interesting wines, which were fun to try. The charcuterie board was ok, but left something to be desire... it came with a heaping serving of jelly that was very good, but no crackers, it came with mixed nuts that were very peanut heavy and looked like it was dumped from the bottom of a mixed nut can, and of the meats there was one that neither us or the waiter could describe as anything other than a fancy bologna. The rest of it seemed to be good quality meats and cheeses. We debated getting more food and decided against it. The waiter was plenty attentive as it had died down from a holiday rush, but the wine bar atmosphere was cheapened with several kids around some of which were crying. Overall, it was an easy place to stop for a snack and drinks, but wouldn't feel the need to come back. read more

Having a Sunday Funday with my husband. This place checked all the boxes. Football (both Houston and Dallas) on the tvs at the bar, great wine selection and the food was great. We split the Pepperoni pizza and Citrus Spinach salad. Hugo and Katlynn were great hosts. read more

Dropped in for a quick bite at the bar. Was promptly greeted and served wine, love it. Wine selection is solid, went with the rose on tap. Crisp, not too sweet. Ordered the olives to snack on and got a jars worth. That was tight, we ate half and took the rest home. Then w ordered the funghi pizza, not sure if that's the exact name but it was absolutely delicious. My fiancé will forever be pissed about them not having ranch but I don't mind, pizza is always great and I think it's funny. Cheers. read more

This place is super cute and in theory, I would love to continue to support them on our weekly walks around the square but twice now I've gotten a Sauvignon Blanc to- go and with tip it was almost $20 each time. This might be perfectly fine for some folks, but an absolute shocker for me for a very small pour to go. I say this just to prepare you go if that's what your budget allows but find another place if you'd like to find the $10 to go glass. :) read more

We really enjoy coming here before dinner out. Good selection of wine and we've gotten the apps before, theyre great!

This place has a nice ambiance. There are TVs if you wanted to catch a game like I did (Cowboys were on). The wines were good, there is a decent selection. The service was decent, there was a point I felt like my server forgot me but it got better. They board was different coming with pita bread and not crackers but the cheese and jams were great with it. read more

Went to a street festival a d stumbled into this spot. I went in to read the info board which advertised a 4 course meal with wine tastings prepared by one of their chefs. I sat at the bar and to my surprise there staff was well informed and were able to help me pick a wine to my liking. And they have frose'! The ambiance is suitable for a group event or a low key date, but if you are like me and want to pop in solo it's for you too. I plan to attend the tasting for sure. read more

Fabulous wine choices, great server (Eddie), and loved the food menu! It was snowing this weekend, so literally everything was closed besides this place and thank GOODNESS it was open!! They do wines by "tasting" size and "5 oz glass" size- so we could build our own flights, eat what we wanted... and they didn't rush us... fabulous ambiance! Most definitely recommend for a quick bite or if you had friends in town and to give a little local flavor! read more

Huge wine list, with options to fit most budgets. Their pizza is Neapolitan-style, which I thought they did pretty well. The atmosphere is hit or miss for me - I enjoy it when the weather is nice and they open up the side doors, it makes the place feel friendlier. I've gone at odd times before when few people were there and the garage doors were closed, and it felt rather uninviting and sterile. Service is generally pretty efficient, and they are helpful if you have wine questions. read more

While I have been to Kork a few times before and enjoyed the pizza and charcuterie platter, beware of the Brie. When I told our waitress that I believed it had gone bad, she told me that it was "intense". She went back to confirm that it was supposed to taste like that and claimed it was okay, but did agree to substitute another cheese at my request. While this won't keep me from going back, I'll be sure I don't order anything with their Brie on it. And I was sooo tempted to ask the cheese person to come out and taste it in front of me. But I didn't. read more

This place has excellent pizza and really good salads. They do a decent charcuterie board too. They have good wines and great service. The only thing I wouldn't rage about is the dessert. Oh and just like at 600 Degrees I ask for the pizza to stay in the oven a bit longer so it's not soggy. read more

My friends and I stumbled upon Kork while searching for an early lunch while wandering downtown Georgetown, and I'm glad that we found this place! I told my friends that their menu had almost all of my favorite foods (wine, pizza, charcuterie meats & cheese), and that was not an exaggeration. To eat, we shared the Charcuterie Board, Caprese Salad, and Florentine Pizza, and that was enough to leave three adults decently full (and one baby drooling even more than usual haha). If we'd had more room in our stomachs, we were also eyeing the Strawberry&Brie salad, as well as the Margherita, Funghi&Formaggi, and Americano pizzas. My friend and I tried the Craggy Range Sauv Blanc recommended by our server, and it was a delightfully light and refreshing accompaniment to our meal. The restaurant itself was the perfect blend of both sophisticated and relaxed, and our server was friendly and helpful in helping us navigate their menu. I really enjoyed not just the meal but also the atmosphere of this place and will definitely be back when I'm back in Georgetown! read more

I had no expectations, and read no reviews before my visit on Friday at 6:00 pm. I was greeted very graciously, and seated right away. Our waitress, (forgot her name) but she is from Sacrament, CA. What a sweet, knowledgeable gal. Thank you very much for answering our questions, engaging in conversation, and of course making sure our wine glasses were topped off. The bottle of wine we ordered was just what we wanted, and at the right price point. We ordered an appetizer. Bread, Ricotta topped with honey. Pleasantly surprised. Dog friendly inside and out! Definitely a new spot for me on the Georgetown Square... read more

They have a cute place with fantastic wine options. I like the date night deals on Tuesdays. If you don't know go find out!

Just sublime. Kork is right off the square in Georgetown so odds are you can park close (without valet!) and walk in. A beautifully modern industrial look abounds but is made warmer with darker bronze metal and reds and deep browns thrown in through flooring, seating and wall appointments. Unlike an industrial warehouse, Kork actually seems warm and inviting. Food? A limited - but very good - menu and a delightful array of wines and beer. (They might have spirits but I don't drink them so I never remember to look). Prices were fair for the quality and service. In other words, this is not a cheap place but you will enjoy it. As mentioned the aesthetic is first-rate and even the bathrooms (gender-neutral I think?) were spacious, clean, well-appointed and well-lit. Where was the last high end establishment you could say that about? Service was impeccable. Our waiter - I'm sorry I've forgotten his name - was courteous, prompt and professional and gave us ample time to peruse the wine list and was attentive without hovering. Just can't really think of a bad thing to say about Kork. How much did we like it? We've been back twice in the last month or so. Do yourself a favor: go. read more

Finally made it to this gem last night. We went for girls night and had a great time. One of the gals was newer to wine so the sommelier prepared a flight to help expand her palate. The selections were right on for my friend which was so delightful to see. We tried several new types of wine that we all enjoyed. We had the charcuterie plate, the prosciutto + arugula pizza, diavola pizza, and both dessert pizzas. Everything lived up to expectations which makes it too difficult to pick a favorite. We'll definitely be back to Kork! read more

The Good: place looked clean; staff was friendly; nice location. What it is lacking: the pizza is not that great. However, the pizza is considered: Neapolitan pizza---which means that it is a type of pizza that some would consider "soggy". I'm not a fan but the pizza is supposed to be that way. See the pepperoni pizza pics that I posted. One photo is their photo and the other is mine. Just know what you are getting. The Negative: do no order the dessert pizza. I think it is called the s'mores pizza. See posted photos. I posted a photo from their site and a photo of what you actually get. It's pretty funny the drastic difference in quality. Anyways, the pizza was drenched in so much oil that it was not edible Whoever prepared that pizza needs to get a remedial cooking class or something. We tried to eat it but it simply was not gonna happen. I don't know why they poured a bucket of oil on it. Look at the pics and make your own determination. I probably will return for drinks and maybe a basic cheese board. But I will never order their pizza or dessert again. And this stuff was not cheap either. They need to fix the dessert pizza stat. I hope this place makes it b/c Georgetown needs good places so that's why I give it 3 stars, otherwise I would have given it one star. read more

Very good food, get the honey and ricotta with bread. All the pizzas were delicious and thinner crust so not super heavy! Everyone seemed to enjoy the wine/beer on tap. They let us bring our small dogs inside which was nice but didn't have water bowls so bring your own! read more

I so wanted to give this place 5 stars but sadly I can not. I met a friend for Happy Hour and although the establishment is in a great location, decorated nicely and overall has friendly service I left disappointed. I'm a red wine drinker and they had 2 reds on happy hour, per the server if I enjoyed the first dry red I'd enjoy the 2nd. Well that was a big NO, typically I can suck it up and just get through a glass but this was a big no. The description of being a dry red was incorrect, it literally tasted like carbonated red wine. No dryness, no flavor, just gross. When I informed the server she politely responded I can remove it from your table but not your bill. Now I understand that businesses especially small businesses are going through a lot right now but that is never the first response you should give a customer. Figure out if maybe the wine is bad or your description horrid but to flat out just state I can remove from your table and not your bill is unacceptable. I had every intention on having a few glasses and even coming back but yeah that's not happening. Hopefully, they read this review and figure out a way to respond to other customers going forward otherwise they won't get my business or anyone that I know. You still have time. read more

This place had the potential to be so amazing and they just blew it! The variety of wines needs to be reevaluated and they need to train the servers to be able to recommend wines. The food is right out of the microwave flavor and out of a premade charcuterie fridge from H‑E‑B. Please please please just put a little more effort and this place would really be great! read more

What a great place. Beautiful decor and fantastic charcuterie and pizza and not mention the wine selection . Service was spot on as well

Great upscale wine bar in heart of Georgetown. They also have a good draft beer selection if your not much a wino. :) I love the hummus here it is next level, but the pizza is in need of flavor. We got the Napolitano Margherita pizza but must say it tasted more like plain tomato sauce, no seasoning or spice, even the basil seemed flat , overall great service and wine though. Please note you'll be paying around 30 - 40 a bottle here, so it's a bit pricey too. read more

I had the pleasure of trying Kork on a trip to Austin for the first time this week. Despite the insanity of a new mask mandate and COVID-19 craziness, so nice to see a higher end wine bar making it work! I did a wine flight (tasting) with 5 wines. The sommelier, Calvin did an excellent job of presenting and explaining each wine! I learned a lot!! And the wines were excellent!! The owner, Ryan came by to check on us and recommended a sparkling Chardonnay that was TO DIE FOR! We had the charcuterie board, a couple of their Neapolitan style pizza and both their dessert pizzas!! Simply.Amazing! We will be back!! read more
