Finding reliable, skilled contractors has always been a challenge. I needed my driveway redone, a skim coat applied to a retaining wall and stairs, and a new concrete parking strip. I got bids from four different companies. Alpha was the last one, and honestly, I expected them to be the most expensive based on the reviews and the professionalism of Alberto Jr.--and I mean that as a compliment. He was incredibly professional, sharp, and had just graduated from the Foster School of Business. This guy is going places. When their bid came back, they weren't the cheapest--but only a few hundred dollars off. I knew right away I wanted to go with them. They started the project within a week and even finished ahead of schedule. They delivered on every promise, showed up exactly when they said they would, and the crew was made up of true professionals. A really cool touch: Alberto's dad, Alberto Sr., is the owner and was on site every single day, working hands-on with the team. The work is absolutely gorgeous and far exceeded my expectations. So much so, I'm already getting a quote from them to replace the pavers inside my fenced yard. Do not hesitate for a second to go with Alpha Concrete. They are the real deal.

Pricing was reasonable and I bought the bluestone separately from a local supply company at cost, so just labor, sand, gravel and other materials. The project started the following Monday and Desantiel and team were done after 3 days. They picked up the stone on my behalf, so no additional delivery fees. During the entire project they worked diligently and asked a few questions to be sure everything was done to expectations. They worked full days with some rain while lifting 90 lb stones! Great communication and a friendly, professional interaction the whole time. Through correspondence and office visits, I was able to give them examples of some ideas I wanted for the design. Through a process of 3 months which also included 2 holidays (taking measurements, reviewing and approving their technical designs, material and color, door construction), the door was brought to our home and professionally installed. They also installed a smart lock/handle I purchased which the door cuts were based off of. Overall the installation was extremely meticulous which I truly respected.
