Getting our fence installed by Eric and Myfence.com was nothing short of an exceptional experience. From quote to install to finished project, there was never a moment of stress or disappointment. The use of their proprietary software Fence Genius helped us see the finished project before it was even started by sending a PDF of comprehensive renderings . Their process allowed for a fast and smooth installation and the finished fence is absolutely gorgeous. I will never use another company, or let anyone I know, use another company when getting a fence installed. Punctual, honest, very kind, and timely with the preparation & install. Their work is impeccable and the fence is beautiful! The whole project only took them 3-4 days to complete! They were even working in 90-100 degree heat. Once the project was done they even offered to come back and break up some concrete from another fence project not related to this one we did ourselves. I can't recommend My Fence enough.

Very positive experience with MyFence.com! Here's our honest review: We needed to replace our fence after it was blown down by the recent bomb-cyclone windstorm that hit the Seattle area. After searching for contractors near our home in Maple Valley, WA, we spoke to a few companies. - Andrew from MyFence.com stood out. His confidence and pride in the quality product his company offers were noticeable. Even during a three-day power outage, he showed up and explained the meticulous design process, which is professionally done using the latest software technologies. A few days later, two hardworking gentlemen arrived in freezing cold weather. They spent the entire day removing the old fence and installing new poles. They brought an excavator with large drilling equipment and assured me the poles would be buried over two+ feet deep--ensuring they would stand strong against any future storms. Once the concrete dried, the team returned with the fence panels, which had already been pre-built and neatly stained at their factory. Everything fit perfectly into place--down to the last detail. Andrew and Eric from MyFence did an amazing job replacing my fence and my neighbor's fence as well. Their innovative Fence Genius program allows them to calculate and optimize post placement and fencing panels. The program can then modularly build the fence panels offsite which saves time, money, material and produces an aesthetically superior final product. Building the panels offsite also allows less impact to the homeowner since most of the construction is already completed. Onsite customization can be done when needed and as necessary. In my case Eric made a double post to accommodate an overgrown tree and even made a custom post cap to accommodate the double post. They also use screws as opposed to nails when attaching the panels to the post which makes for a sturdier and longer lasting connection (and will make it easier to remove panels in the future if needed). Finally, the gates they make are also modularly built offsite and they use lag screws to again ensure a sturdy and long lasting connection - this prevent the gate from sagging. MyFence does high quality work and their costs are reasonable, our fence will last decades. Highly recommend this father son team. read more

Unfortunately, our experience was the exact opposite from start to finish. Our scheduled appointment time came and went without any communication from the company. We ultimately had to make multiple calls and send multiple texts just to determine whether our appointment was still happening. After being told the appointment would need to be rescheduled, we continued trying to get answers and eventually heard from Jared, who informed us he was driving from Maple Valley and would be coming to our appointment. The estimate presentation itself had some positives. We appreciated being able to see the fence design and pricing breakdown on the iPad in real time, which helped us better understand the project and costs. However, the biggest issue arose when we later realized we had apparently signed a contract and authorized a $6,000 deposit, despite repeatedly and very clearly communicating that we were still gathering estimates from multiple contractors and were not prepared to make a decision that day. At no point did we believe we were entering into a binding agreement. We believed we were reviewing an estimate and discussing options. When we requested that the contract be canceled, a discount was immediately offered in an apparent effort to keep the sale. We also found it concerning that after a discount was discussed, the revised quote still reflected the original pricing. What stood out most throughout this process was how often we felt we had to advocate for ourselves. We had to chase down communication regarding the appointment, question what we had signed, request cancellation, and specifically ask for written confirmation of the cancellation and refund. At nearly every step, it felt like the burden was on us to get clear answers. After this experience, we met with another fencing company whose representative had previously worked for Cool Cat Fence. During our conversation, he stated that many of the company's sales and business tactics were very deliberate, very intentional, and specifically designed to pressure customers into making decisions on the spot. He explained that he ultimately chose to leave because he personally did not feel comfortable with the tactics being used and did not want to continue being associated with that approach. After our own experience, that information was difficult to ignore. We were also surprised to find reviews from customers alleging that the company offered incentives, discounts, or other compensation in exchange for removing or changing negative reviews. Prospective customers should take the time to read through reviews carefully and draw their own conclusions. I also sent a detailed email directly to management outlining our concerns in the hope that the feedback would help improve the customer experience for future customers. Despite receiving the manager's email address directly and sending that feedback, I never received any response. The contract was ultimately canceled and our deposit was refunded, which was the outcome we had requested immediately after we realized Jared was trying to take advantage of us. Recently, we found a business card and brochure on our porch that had been delivered by a new fence building firm called MyFence.com. Because we were in need of a fence builder to remove and replace the fence conjoining with our neighbor, we made contact MyFence.com for an estimate. We also contacted two other builders. We started off by getting multiple quotes from a variety of contractors and ended up choosing MyFence.com due to their use of technology, which made me feel reassured I was not going to be wronged. They came and tore out the old fence, and installed the new fence posts. That evening I received a PDF which showed exactly what the fence was going to look like and I was able to approve it. They were back a couple days later with their handmade custom crafted panels and the installation was a breeze! I could not believe how quick it was. I highly recommend their team! Overall the experience was great. Andrew helped with designing our fence in a virtual environment which was very beneficial for my wife and I to decide exactly how we wanted the fence to look. We chose to get everything to pre-stained and that was a great decision. When they arrived, each custom panel was pre made and they just installed them on the posts. A phenomenal experience with myfence. Father and Son duo came out to bid, remove, design, and install our 500 ft of linear fenct + a gate. There were of course weird aspects of my property (trees, terrain, property line oddities) and they dealt with all of them professionally and quickly. I had CAD images of what my future fence would look like, and it was so easy to show my neighbors what was going on the whole time. Great company. read more

The quality of fence was amazing. They came one day and preset the posts, then they measured them. And after MyFence.com put the measurements into a software, where I was able to work with them and design my exact fence. They then pre made the fence panels and installed them super quick. It was great how quiet the experience was when they were installing. read more
