Was very happy to find this wonderful KBBQ , food was out standing. We enjoyed the staff and how helpful and caring they all were. Environment was welcoming and comfortable. Highly recommend giving them a try !

Spacious location with plenty of tables that has wonderful and traditional Korean BBQ. Our server was nice and professional. We ordered only beef bulgogi because that's what my group enjoy eating at KBBQ. We also got the beef tartar and it was delicious. All the sides were great. Definitely recommend this place for Korean BBQ in the suburbs.

It's good for Korean bbq! Very authentic and traditional meat and side dishes. All the meats were good and service was solid. Portions were big and even though it's not AYCE, it still left me very full. The owners are an old Korean couple it seems. I really liked the kimchi fried rice that they made at the end using the clay pot. Great spot for Korean bbq!

everything amazing at koreana! the side dishes, food& meats! been coming here last 2 years and the quality and taste always the same!

As a Korean girly who grew up in Korea for half my life, Imma say this is the BEST K-BBQ spot I've ever tried in IL! The portions are huge, the meat is super fresh, and the service was amazing. But the jjigae (soup) was literally the best I've ever had

10 Stars!! OMG! I heard angels sing after every bite. Cute little place with friendly owners and delicious food. Our new favorite place either an interesting concept of cooking your own food with the grill in the center of the table. We chose the $65 combo platter that included shrimp, beef bulgori, Chicken, pork, and short ribs. The meal comes with a soup, rice, and tons of sides. We will for sure be back and is a must try for others.

I would like this to be kept as secret honestly. The unmarinated kalbi is our favourite...well marbled and good quality! They use diff grills for diff meats and depends on what you order, there would be kimchi fried rice at the end :D They always have this super yummy kalbijjim kinda side dish...i had to exercise a lot of self control so not to overeat this side dish! LOL I also love their kitchen food...the only place i can find the bulgogi soup (i can never remember its korean name) that tasted similar to what I had in Seoul...i was sad that they discountined kitchen food and focused on bbq....

    Nice spread

We came on a Saturday night and had a reservation. The restaurant became quite busy but was a lot of fun and the food was excellent. The ribeye and the bulgogi were excellent and enjoyed our sake with dinner. I would definitely come here when in the mood for Korean BBQ.

Definitely the best Korean barbecue grill I've ever tried! I would recommend to everyone looking for good quality meat, friendly and accommodating staff, and unlimited side dishes! We have been coming here with family, friends, and coworkers and always a good time. We love this place and the staff who are always helpful and make sure our dinner is great! Super delicious food and worth it!

Korean grill that is the most similar to what you can get in Korea. Meat is super fresh and hand selected by the owners from local butcher shop(s). Don't get marinated meat, not because it is bad, but because their unmarinated kalbi is a must get. Also the only Korean bbq that knows how to really treat mountain tripe. Free rib tip side dishes between Friday to Sunday. The place is not fancy, but what kbbq should actually be. The service? It's Korean owned, you ask if you need something instead of asking them to come to you.

This restaurant definitely hits the spot when craving for Korean bbq. I even love the soup as well. We ordered a few different meats and when everything came out along with our side dishes, we weren't sure if it was too much...our table was filled!! Everything from the side dishes, appetizers, grilling our meats, the soup was so good!! I left there with a happy and full stomach. I was definitely satisfied with everything that we ordered.

And, dare I say, better version. Except for their avgolemeno soup. Such a weak travesty. Please fix this. It's just a watery mess. However, everything else is delicious. I ordered the Greek Chicken with their lemon-butter rice. They debone the chicken and serve atop a mountain of their rice. If also had their potatoes (which are good) but the rice is magical. When we arrived we noticed a table was reserved and we were informed that it was our table. We sat and looked over the menus. When we were ready my 2 boys and I went up to place our order. My one son has major allergies so we spoke to the chef and he came back out to recommend the dishes he can have. It was great that he did so and gave us confidence that my son would be able to eat without worrying too much about the ingredients. I ordered the Shrimp Kalamakia with a side of the Greek Rice. My son with the allergies ordered the Pork Kalamakia with Greek Rice and no pita, my other son ordered the Traditional Pork Gyro with Greek Rice. The sides we ordered: Saganaki Fritters and Spanakopitakia. My son that ordered the Pork Kalamakia devoured it. He said it was tender and juicy and probably could have eaten 4 skewers. My Shrimp Kalamakia was nicely charred and seasoned, I squeezed some lemon and it provided a nice tang over the seasoning. The Lemon rice pilaf was soft and cook just right and was nicely balanced. I had one Saganaki Ball and it was delicious. My son had the Pork Gyros said it was really good and the Tzatziki sauce was creamy and rich with flavors. My in-laws bought the table desserts and I got the Baklava and my wife got Loukoumades (Greek Donuts with Nutella) and both did not disappoint. I really loved the citrus honey syrup in the Baklava. The Loukoumades had a crispy shell and nice a fluffy on the inside and the Nutella amount was perfect. This place is very good and well worth the price in my opinion. I loved the fact that they took the time to make sure my son with allergies was safe.

The food was fresh and satisfying. Portions were enormous, and many dishes are easily large enough to share between two people. It was time to try. We expected a bit of a hole in the wall and that's not what we found - we found a very nicely decorated and maintained restaurant with a lot of dark wood overtones - we were seated immediately and given an extensive menu. I ordered a Polish beer, and we ordered a Polish plate - kind of a combination sampler plate if you will - and a ground pork cutlet dinner. Now before we could say anything? Some bread showed up with a lovely but lightly flavored hummus type spread- we enjoyed it because it also came with a nice big half sized pickle. When the Polish plate came? OMG we had sauerkraut - we had sausage - we had some pierogies, and when the pork cutlet came out? It literally covered the entire plate and was resting on a bed of freshly mashed potatoes. We shared the Polish plate and we shared the extremely large pork cutlet. Now to be fair? We loved the Polish plate immensely - while the cutlet was nicely breaded, and the mashed potatoes were great? I'm not certain I could say that about the pork cutlet. There was nothing wrong with it. I think the flavor was fine, but it was not something that I would order again. It just wasn't my taste that's all. So would we come again? Yes. Yes we would!

Seriously. Seriously? Me with a main dish and my hubby/friends bereft of food? Oh wow. I didn't touch it until the apps arrived a couple minutes later - finally their mains arrived. Yay. The apps? Well, the chicken karaage was really fried chicken breast meat (no bones; not a prob for me, but hubby - a japanese man by birth- was not impressed). The agedashi tofu was yummy and quite good. Nice! Ok- my ramen was - yes- spicy and oily, as any good ramen should be. The bad part? I could tell the bean sprouts weren't fresh as my sensitive digestive tract let me know - fast- that the sprouts were "not" fresh. Yikes. Not a good thing - hence the demerit. They have quite an extensive menu offering both Korean & Chinese entrees. It was tough deciding what to choose but we ended up ordered the Jjampong + Jjajangmyeon combo, Pork & Stir-Fried Squid, Galbitang, and Soy Garlic Fried Chicken (Bone-in). Out of everything, the Jjajangmyeon was the clear standout. The flavor was so good that I'd honestly come back just for that alone. Absolute comfort food. The Jjampong didn't quite hit for me -- it wasn't bad, but it felt a little bland and lacked the umami I usually look for. I've had better elsewhere, so I'd probably skip that next time. Similarly the Pork & Squid stir fry just didn't pack the right punch for me so I would pass too. Other highlights were definitely the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken and Galbitang. The chicken was packed with flavor, perfectly crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside -- a must-order. The Galbitang was comforting and hearty, with about four bones in the soup, super tender meat, and a clean, soothing broth. The space itself is small with only four tables, and we lucked out getting one. It has such a cozy, homey feel -- like you're sitting in her kitchen while she cooks you a homemade Korean meal. Service was excellent too; they checked in often and kept our drinks refilled. Overall, a great start to my 2026 food reviews.
