Galbi Lunch Box
Andy D.

Koreana is amazing! The food is authentic, delicious, and of high quality! I have been eating here each time I'm in town, for the last 7 years! They serve delicious lunch specials on weekdays (I believe it's 11-2 am) that comes with rice, japchae, protein (I personally love the galbi), salad, two pieces of sushi, yakimandu, and miso soup. Absolutely worth it! The service is always friendly and attentive. This restaurant has a very peaceful vibe, and you will enjoy the delicious food it has to offer. This restaurant is an absolute must try for people who enjoy authentic Korean food!

I have been here a few times and have yet to be disappointed. The staff is very accommodating and is always checking up to see if we need anything. My favorite item from the menu is the bulgogi and the spicy potato's. I will continue showing Koreana my support!

Bibimbap and Donggasu

Recommended for anyone who is in Columbus, GA, and visitors who love Korean Food. The service is impeccable. I recently dined at Koreana restaurant and had the Bibimbap and Donggasu. The Bibimbap was packed with flavor, while the Dongas had a perfect crunch, especially when dipped in the savory sauce. The side dishes were equally amazing. The kimchi was fresh and crunchy without being overpowering, and the brown potato was incredibly tasty. At the end of the meal I was offered a small cup of cold tea, which was surprisingly soothing and delightful. What a Wonderful Day!!!

Seafood Mix with Rice Cakes in a spicy sauce

Food was absolutely fantastic and came with 6 little sides that were a total surprise. My only regret was that I got filled up super fast from the Ttyeobboki with seafood mix. The two servers we had were so friendly. It truly felt a like a family run homey restaurant.

Delicious! We have only visited Koreana in the past for their lunchboxes during lunch time and they have always been a hit. We decided to give dinner a try and we were so happy we did. The portion size for the beef bulgogi was perfect for two people. The sides were wonderful and they were quick to refill any side that was running low. The kimchi was the best I have had in town! Koreana is by far the place to go in town for Korean BBQ. Great pricing, service, and food.

This is the best restaurant, and the barbecue omakase is the top menu. The prices are affordable, but the food is exceptional. When you're craving Korean food, make sure to visit and experience the taste of Korea. 바베큐 오마카세 추천합니다. 말도안되는 가격으로 정성스런 음식을 먹었습니다

We went to this place by recommendation & the food was the best we've had in the area. The service was a little slow but assuming it is family owned, with the amount of customers it was not a big deal considering how great the food was. Everything was good portions & very flavorful. Price was decent so will be back again.

Bibimbap. Nice vegetables cooked with right seasoning.

Ok. So I'm not giving 4 stars it like it's the best Korean place ever or it's a fancy "nouvelle" Korean restaurant. But I am impressed with this humble looking place in Columbus Georgia, and it's one of the bests in the Georgia/ Alabama/ North Florida/ North Carolina region. First off, they make their own dumplings and cinnamon dessert drink (sujeonggwa)! That was so refreshing to see. I don't eat out at Korean places any more as even the ones in Atlanta are not that great.. A lot of Korean places in the north Carolina are owned and operated by Chinese. Places in Atlanta are very old fashioned and side dishes often are not great. Alabama Korean places are just not good quality. But this one was nice. I actually enjoyed most of the side dishes and asked for a refill! (They didn't have fish cake or Mayo fruit salad ..but I liked their simmered potato, radish, zucchini, and japchae.) Also the vegetables in bibimbap were properly cut and cooked. (Especially the shiitake). The ttokbokki was yummy, although a little sweet and pricey. And I liked the miso soup that was very much like old fashioned Korean miso soup (that has different soup stock - not just hondashi flavor, but a bit of old fashioned udon noodle soup flavor). I also saw they have very good relation with their customers. (Someone picked up someone else's order, but all the customers involved and owner were very patient, friendly, and pleasant to each other.) Service was quick, and all the ladies who work there were super nice. A very nice surprise!

So awesome. I usually get the stir fried pork and veggies with spicy sauce. You will have magma butt the next day but it's so worth it.

Super Delish. I've had the ramen and the Mongolian beef. Both are excellent. The egg rolls are next level. A regular spot for me.

We didn't really expect much in a college town but it turned out to be pretty legit. Banchan - really good. Love the fish cakes. We asked for more but they said they ran out. So they never came back to our table again, not even to refill our tea and water cups after that. Stew: I think it is called Gopchang Changol or something like that. It usually got beef tripes, tofu, veggies, something, then intestines. This one got tofu and lots of intestines, flavored was good but way too much intestines, I like a mixed of stuffs. We always get udon in a stew, not this place. Not what I was expected. Big portion though so we took the leftovers, grabbed some tofu from Walmart and udon, and made another batch the next day. Fried chicken (both original and spicy) - not bad. Galbi (short ribs) - pretty good Tteokbokki- not bad

If you have never had Korean food with traditional "appetizers" I highly recommend chickchickporkpork. The food is absolutely fantastic! The prices are extremely fair for the quality and quantity you get. The sign in front is a bit small, so pay attention as you get close. You will be pleased you chose to come, whether for lunch or dinner. For the especially finicky eater, you will find a luxury of fried chicken options to choose from. Come with an open mind, and you will leave with a full belly and plenty of good memories.

We didn't drink, but they do have a good variety of alcoholic drinks. The lunch special seems like a really good deal. We ended up getting the chick chick chilly chilly mayo. I really enjoy that they bring out a water jug for self service and do wish more restaurants would do that since I drink a lot of water. It is not to far from campus and definitely worth the drive. It's perhaps not in the most fun location being off pepperell pkwy but large indoor seating available. Should be good for big groups as well, never took a big group here but seems like they have the space. Parking lot has spaces but not a good lot. Lots of potholes and some big ones at the entrance.

The food was cold. I ordered with the hot stone and the only thing that was hot was the fried egg on top. I love when the rice gets burned a bit on the bottom but was barely warm. It was also supposed to be beef and veggie. I think I found two small pieces of beef. For service you ring a bell which is weird. We sat in the middle of the room and you would think they would at least check on you. And did I mention the live ROACH we found on our table? We told them and they just had us switch tables. Ughhhh

We got sauce on the side and I salt and peppered it, still good. Our table also ordered the Tonkatsu (which has huge portions, two layers of deep friend pork), C7: Bone-in Haejanguk (hangover soup), and C2: Bulgogi in a hot pot.
