I absolutely love coming here for sweet treats and a little bit of skin care! I'm not much of a noodle or Korean food type of girl, but I am a sucker for the ice cream! The ice cups, and the facial masks ‍ ! I also like getting the toothpaste from here it's super minty and it feels really clean , including the coffee from the packets they're actually really refreshing and they have all types of different flavors ranging from no sugar to sugar ! The staff also make it really fun to keep coming back. I love that they're super friendly

Definitely a must visit if you are looking for all things Korean to include cooked food. Double check the time as the restaurant closes before the store. Food was amazing. Store had everything one could want/need when it comes to Korean items. Employees were nice. Store didn't seem over crowded like most Asian stores/market.

I must've came here over 5 times in 2 weeks with my mother in law :). I know this store too well and even learned some Korean! They have really good selection of items and produce! They have everything from produce to blankets, Korean houseware, cookware etc... My mother in law approved so i approve lol. Service is ok. They are pretty busy at all times! Ambiance is very hustle & bustle! Customers are in & out & lines get long. There is a restaurant inside the store that I have yet to try! I'll be back to try it soon! Overall good experience and I recommend!

Lots of great authentic foods, snacks, drinks, meats, noodles (fresh and dried varieties) it's your one stop shop for Asian cuisine related food. They have a hot food restaurant (we didn't try it, definitely next time). Lots of cooking spices and sauces. Too many to list. Go check them out! You won't be disappointed!

Came up to this Korean market off of Ritterman Road on Fairdale Drive to pick up a couple of things and also try their mango and peach ice cream, and the ice cream did not disappoint. The mango is delicious. The store I thought would be a little bit bigger than it was, but it was sufficient and plus in the back of the store they do have a little café restaurant. I didn't try it this time, but maybe I will next time I come and visit. They do have beauty items and fresh produce. They have a little bit of frozen food in a couple of frozen refrigerators. They have all your coffees, your teas, different drinks, different dishes, pots, slow cookers, rice cookers, and they do sell a couple of dishes, bowls, and stuff for tea. Everything I think was reasonably priced. I got checked out pretty fast considering it was a little line but mainly Folkes coming in to get the ice cream too or chips, snacks, and ramen. So if you're looking for a great Korean store to get produce, snacks, ramen, or the viral mango ice cream & peach ice cream you see on TikTok these days this is your store.

I got to the Botanical Gardens earlier than usual today, so it was time for lunch when I left. I like to find "new to me" places to eat in that area instead of going back home and re-visiting the same old places. I was definitely in the mood for either Korean or Indian food, so I did a "Korean food near me" search in Apple Maps and the Korean Market was only about 4.8 miles away, so I didn't even bother looking for anywhere else. The restaurant is actually in a fairly large Korean market. I was shocked by how small it is. There are eight tables crammed into a very small room. You really have to squeeze through to get to your seat. I felt guilty because there was only one table for four left. I sat there for a few minutes before I realized nobody was coming to take my order. I asked a lady at a neighboring table, and she told me I needed to go up and order at the window. They had a nice sign over the window with the menu. It didn't have Korean names for some of the dishes. There were descriptions like: Blackbean Sauce with Noodles, which I assumed was jajangmyeon. There were plenty of good things to choose from like bulgogi, kimchi fried rice, and kimchi pancakes. The lady who told me where to order had been raving with a man at table by her about the Spicy Seafood with Noodles. I decided to order that. It turned out to be a HUGE bowl of soup loaded with shrimp, crab, octopus, squid, vegies, and noodles. The broth was absolutely delicious. It tasted of the sea. I was in heaven, although it was hot as hell! It was so hot that I had to let it cool down because the noodles hanging down from the chopsticks were burning my chin! The soup was served with four side dishes. They were kimchi, spicy cucumber, fish cakes, and pickled radish. Each was portioned perfectly in one of those little checkered paper things that french fries used to come in way back. (I did notice that a Korean man who by all appearances was visiting from Korea, got his served in silver trays.) No biggie. When I finished eating, I bussed my own table. They have signs on the walls letting you know that there is no staff to clean up after you, and you are expected to clear your own mess. I am fine with that. I wandered around the market for a while. I saw a lot of things I wanted to buy, but I have a friend visiting for a week and don't think I will have time to cook anything. I did grab some single-serve instant Tteok-bokki. I will definitely be back to eat here in the future and try some other dishes. I think I can figure out what some of them are from the description. But, just to be sure, I'll learn how to pronounce my favorites and ask if they have them.

Quirky and interesting Korean market. It's a little disorganized but has a nice variety of items including a great selection of refrigerated kimchi. This in one of the few Korean markets that sell garlic stem kimchi (a favorite with chicken). Overall cleanliness: average Staff: pretty good, older man at check out was friendly

Shocking that this little hole in the wall through a grocery store was so good! Order at the counter - it's a very small space and I could see it getting crowded for lunch. We had a variety of items including bulgogi/ Jajangmyeon, spicy rice cakes and bibimbab, We were diving in so fast that I didn't get all the pics. We will definitely return again! They are closed on Sundays.

    Bulgogi

Restaurant was delicious. Small dining area, would recommend going after lunch hour. We had beef bulgogi, fried dumplings and beef Japchae. Food arrived fast and tastes freshly made. The market was packed the aisles are close together so there is not much room to get around but we found everything we were looking to buy. Would definitely go again!

My son loves all things piggy, we found a cute variety of gifts in the store.

The food was wonderful, and the grocery store is well organized. We perused the gift and home goods section for stocking stuffers and found some great things for the kids. Very clean and feels authentic

This is the real deal!. If you are looking for a divey, Korean restaurant with excellent food, look no further. The menu has a white variety of Korean offerings. Each time we visit we try something new and different and are never disappointing. The prices are reasonable services fast in the food is outstanding.

Ask the Community - Korean Market

Do they sell the ice cream snack in the snack aisle?

The ice cream is sold in the cooler near the cafe restaurant inside.

Do they sell big quantities of kimchi for us to take home? Trying to find a good source for authentic Kim chi

Yes sir. I always buy my kimchee there. I like it because of the fresh taste. The pic are from the little restaurant in the market.

Do they have frozen korean bbq that I can cook from home?

I did not see any, but you might try Seoul Asian food market & cafe on Rittman red. I saw bulgogi and pork belly.

Are they open on Sundays for meals?

    Sunday hours 1-7:30 p.m.

Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing, which is why I'm giving 3 stars. I ordered the veal Schnitzel with mushroom gravy (Jägerschnitzel) and red cabbage. The red cabbage was also very undercooked and completely lacked flavor. Overall, I personally did not find the food authentic or representative of true German cooking. What truly saved this experience was the outstanding customer service. Our server, Joseph, was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind throughout the meal.
