Wow! The food is soooo yummy. I got the shoyu udon and it had the perfect amount of spice and the portion was generous. The fried dumplings were perfect and the bao was to die for! The service was good and it was a really good experience. read more

I came here and got the wings to go and though it took a little longer than I was told I don't think the flavor and quality was there for me. The crunch was amazing but it kind of felt like they were just really greasy which takes away from the flavor. We did a lot of skin removal and just trying to eat the meat part rather than just eating the whole chicken wing. I will have to try another place. read more

Food was good, the service was awful. Staff was rude and irritated that we were there. I have never been so rushed to order, eat, and encouraged to leave. read more

This place used to be a gem. It seems since they were bought out that the quality of meat & even portions of food have decreased tremendously. read more

We love this place! Best Korean food. Must try. As a matter fact I'm going to have lunch today. LOL.

Because of the pandemic, they have you wait in the car and they bring the food to you. After waiting for 45 minutes in hot weather, we went in to ask about our order only to find out they essentially forgot about it. I would understand if it was super busy when we went in, but we were the only ones waiting in the parking lot when we got there. They didn't even offer anything as an apology. In total, we waited an hour for our order. Not happy about the service. read more

Lovely spot in Wake Forest to get some Korean food. Their dumplings and spicy pork are delicious. Oh and the beef bulgogi is a must try. I love bibimbap in the hot stone pot but I have to say theirs isn't my favorite only because it doesn't come with all the little sides I've had at some other places. Servers are always very helpful though and can steer you in the right direction on what to order. read more

We can't say enough great things about this place. The Korean fried chicken breast with garlic sauce was excellent and the ribs my wife had were great too. They also have great appetizers too we got the fried dumplings and the fried Brussel sprouts that we loved read more

Ordered takeout today using their website. Super friendly people and the food was fantastic. We got the Korean fried chicken, fried dumplings and bibimbap. They also packaged everything very well! Will definitely eat there again. read more

The food was horrible, even their rice was bad. I grew up on good Korea food and this place is the farthest from even being decent.

So my first visit and my first review ever. The reviews looked good except for one. So I decided to support them since they were new. The food was very good however I got a plastic stick that was almost 1 1/2 inches long and 1/2 centimeter at its widest found in the seafood dish and the sharp end went into my lip and it tore my lip and I started bleeding and it really hurts. I wanted to email them privately rather than do it publicly but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. So I had no choice. This is not right. It really hurts. People kept saying it was a clean place. I am sure they will be more careful once they read this but I am very upset. If this plastic thing wasn't there, I would have given them five stars. read more

Korean Kitchen - The piece of plastic in my seafood dish. - Korean Near Me - Wake Forest, North Carolina

The fried chicken and the seafood soup were superb. Can't get enough of the sweet potato noodles!

Have been eating here since they first opened a few months back. Food is very tasty, but they continue to raise their prices as well as cut down on portions. I stopped today to pick up a container of kimchee, I have bought these weekly since opening day. They raised the price from 5.00 to 7.00. I asked why and was told thst "cabbage is very expensive ".???? Are you effing kidding me ? Cabbage is really one of the cheapest vegetables out there. I said that to the woman, and she just shook her head. I wont be coming back as this is all a slap in the face of regular customers. With the covid 19 thing going on, businesses should watch out for their customers. read more

Amazing. Every time time my friends and I have gone, the food has been delicious! Best Korean food I've ever eaten! The owners and staff are the kindest people and always come to check around the tables to make sure everything comes out perfect. I highly recommend this place!! read more

Ordered take out yesterday and could not be happier. This restaurant offers authentic Korean cuisine with fusion elements. Kimchi, spices, fantastic pickled side dishes, good ingredients cooked to perfection - Chef has some exceptional culinary skills. The restaurant's moto is 'Best Korean Food in Wake Forest' and that is 100% correct. We will be frequent customers. Can't wait to order and try new delicious items from the menu. This place replaced Monapita, 1st time I tried to eat here it was closed that day (definitely in the soft opening phase). So I would recommend calling just in case. We finally got the chance to try it and it is pretty decent. I was hoping it had the korean bbq grills where the food gets cooked in your table but it was not that type of place. I tried the kfc (korean fried chicken) and it definitely had the crunch but was a little too light on the sauce. The bao though (got the beef) was very good - it is pretty spicy though which I liked. read more

Hopefully this place will stay for a while. I made an impromptu stop at this restaurant after noticing it now occupies the old Euro Cafe space on S Main St in Wake Forest. I have to admit that I'm a sucker for spicy ethnic cuisine. I knew as soon I walked in that this was going to be good. I'm immediately greeted by warm friendly smiles as I walk in. I play it safe by ordering the spicy chicken wings and beef bulgogi. The owner/ chef then walks up to thank me for patronizing the restaurant and tells me to hold on before I leave with my order because he wants to make another dish for me to try free of charge. When my order is ready, he presents me with another box of what I can only describe is the Korean version of Bahn Mi (I know they're Vietnamese) sliders. There were four small folding buns with crispy boneless fried chicken. pickled beets and other vegetables, held together with a skewer. All I can say is everything I had was amazing. The sliders were inhaled not eaten. That's how good they were. The chicken wings were crispy, not greasy and seasoned with a very tasty but lightly sweet spicy glaze. The huge portion of Beef Bulgogi was delicious . The meal came with all of the traditional Korean side dishes that I can't name but included rice, kimchi, bean sprouts, seaweed salad, pickled beets, zucchini with peanut oil and soup. There was no way for me to finish everything so yes there were some leftovers. The friendly welcoming nature of the owners and the huge delicious portions will keep this Korean culinary gem on my normal restaurant rotation for quite some time. I highly recommend Korean Kitchen if you haven't tried it. read more

Great Korean restaurant in wake forest! I highly recommend the chicken wings; they can be extremely spicy if you like that, or just get the mild like we usually do. Also, the seafood pancake is delicious with plenty of seafood and crispy bits. read more

My Dad and I had a marvelous lunch today! The spice level was on point, the kimchi and cucumbers and green beans were all kinds of good. Love KK! read more

Beef bulgogi that is flavorful, tender, and no gristle. Kimchi scallion pancakes full of flavor and perfectly crispy. The chicken wings... Oh, my! Perfect crust that shields super moist moist chicken and HUGE. Yes, even better than Raleigh's 4-star-rated Korean fried chicken specialist. My wife does not even like chicken wings and even she loved them. My favorite part in the two noodle dishes we ordered (japchae and udon) had to be the abundance and variety of veggies. Biggest shocker of the night was the Brussels sprouts - sooo crunchy and loaded with spicy goodness. Will be back often! read more

Sometimes all that matters is the food. While there are way too many lights for a classic restaurant experience, the decor is basic, however there food was amazing. It's been years since I gave had real Korean food. Korean Kitchen excelled by serving up truly great dishes. Do yourself a favor and get the bibimbop in the hot stone pot. Also when they spicy, like the various soups believe it! I will be back to continue working my way through the menu! read more

I have to say thank you because I usually order the Tteokbokki with no fish, and Tofu soup as I am vegan... They said "No seafood?" I said "Yes, no thank you" and they are so kind about it Can't complain, they make their Korean food as genuine as possible and it's my favorite... They even have boba which is hard to find around here. So I'm happy... read more

So good! Is there much else that needs to be said? If you want some bulgogi in Wake Forest, this is the place to go. Portions are good. I get a couple of orders of bulgogi and a few other things for a family dinner and have plenty of leftovers for me to eat for several lunches afterward. I personally have nothing negative to say. read more

Korean Kitchen - Spicy Pork, Beef bulgogi, Bao bun, fried dumplings - Korean Near Me - Wake Forest, North Carolina

I wish I could have enjoyed my meal at the restaurant. We arrived at 6pm. We didn't get our meal, well two out of three meals until 7pm. We asked for to-go boxes as we didn't want to sit there much longer...an hour and 15mins with no food is much don't you think? A few minutes later the third meal came out. Figured we come out, enjoy a nice dinner and back home no later than 715pm as we had our two year old with us. A larger group came in at the same time as us and they all got their meal and to-go boxes and left before we even received ours. Three other groups came in after us, one maybe 20mins after us and they all got their meals and we were still waiting. We asked why these groups got all their food and we're still waiting. Waitress said that might be the order she put the orders in?? Really?? So basically she put in our order after all these groups, who came after us. That made no sense. There was only one waitress working the tables. The other person was apparently, according to the waitress, taking care of the take out orders. It was just the two of us plus a toddler. Our poor two year old, after waiting an hour, started eating her meal very slowly and then ended up throwing up her food. We order fried rice, LA galbi and galbi soup. Fried rice doesn't take an hour to make. None these takes an hour to cook...I know, I make Korean at home all the time. Also, normally the side dishes, banchan, you get several varieties, like 5 to 6. We ate here before and it was more than four and very plentiful but waitress said they ran out. Sorry but you can't eat or enjoy Korean food without the banchan. It was such a disappointment. We brought the food home and I lost my appetite, so I'll have to eat it the next day. Just wanted a nice Korean meal outside for my birthday weekend. I'll stick to making my own Korean food. Thought it would have been a nice treat but it was such a disappointment. read more

Great food and amazing service. Try the fried chicken wings and nap buns for appetizers. Rice bowls were also very good. Waitress was outstanding and owners came to see if we enjoyed everything! read more

I spent over 5 years in Korea and this is really good authentic Korean food. Portions are good and side dishes are great. The place is run by a Korean couple that are very friendly and accommodating. Suggest you try the hot pork or Bi Bim Bap! The Korean pan cakes are also fantastic! You got to try this place. read more

My husband and I love bibimbap and have been on a search for a good Korean restaurant close to home. We didn't know that this place had opened here but we're super excited when we found out! The service was simple but efficient. The kimchi was delicious! We had edamame (which was yummy) and tofu bibimbap. I can't say that there bibimbap was the best I've ever had but it was pretty close! The food was delivered quickly and everything was tasty. We will definitely be back! read more

Oh my heavens it is such yummy food! The service wa friendly and fast. Could not recommend more!

Never got past the door. Went in to ask about the type of food they served since I allergies. The waitress acknowledged me after 5 minutes and said she would be right with me. She then proceeded to ignore me. So I walked out. She could care less. read more

Just ok, I wouldn't recommend. Service slow, not that great. Not busy at all to justify the service. Brought an appetizer out for multi party dine in and had to ask for plates. Did not bring out all the traditional side dishes usually given at a Korean restaurant. The JapChae with beef had hardly any beef. Was just a $14 bowl of vegetables. Fried dumpling not that great, get better frozen ones from the Korean store. read more

This restaurant is definitely cooking up authentic Korean food and at a pretty good price point. It's got your typical Korean foods but no grill seating like Seoul kitchen. The staff is quick to respond to needs and extremely pleasant. I deducted a star because the sides provided with the meals are all only spicy options so I was quite disappointed when taking my children with me. Generally Korean restaurants will offer one or two sides that have no spice level to them but this one did not offer any thing that wasn't red. It doesn't make for a very diverse palate which is the point of multiple sides in a Korean meal. I ordered from them several times for take out and everything is delicious and packaged with care! I deducted another star however because while the food is delicious, this is not a kid friendly restaurant. I had to find and clean off and sanitize the booster seats, there's no kid cups so if you want anything with a lid you'll have to buy a soft drink to go cup and they will charge you for the soft drink even though my kids only had water. The cups aren't plastic so I couldn't give them my glass of water. They offered no other alternatives for my toddlers for drink options. read more

My husband is 1/2 Korean and my kids love their Grandma's bulgogi and kimchi. Eating at the Korean Kitchen was almost as good as visiting Grandma's! Absolutely recommend Korean Kitchen - delicious fried pork dumplings, bulgogi bao, chashu bao, and fire chicken were on the menu for us today and all were solid hits. The side dishes were a tasty addition to the meal and an unexpected nice touch. Very tasty, so glad it's in Wake Forest! read more

This place is incredible, and I will definitely be coming back soon. It is a little pricy, but it's worth it, and I don't say that a lot. We got two orders of fries and one order of spicy fried chicken, which came with 10 pieces. It was the best meal I've ever had, and I recommend this place to any food lover. read more

This was the worst "Korean" food that I have ever tasted in my life. There is nothing authentic about the fried chicken. It had no flavor, and they barely put any sauce on it. The fried rice must have been made by someone with no cooking skills, as it was bland and tasteless. Worst of all was the kimchi scallion pancake. It was greasy, mushy and soggy. This place is a joke and a waste of time and money. I have had far better Korean food at Soo Cafe, Aroma, and Seoul Kitchen. read more
